About this house rental
A beautiful, custom beach house built in January 2021 and located in The Pointe West development. Furnished with brand new, top of the line appliances and contemporary furniture. Furnishings, linens and decor are all brand new so there's no need to worry about dirt, grime or germs. The kids have their own GAME ROOM with their own 65” Samsung smart TV so that you and the adults can relax and enjoy the comfortable living room without any distractions.
Our beach house has a spacious, wrap around deck with views of the beach and the bay. The beach at Pointe west is wide and spacious and vehicles are not allowed. It’s also very private and not overly crowded even in the summertime. It's a short 3 min walk to the beach or pack up your gear and go fishing on the bay or at one of the community fishing piers and ponds.
Since the beach is the main attraction, we have provided some beach gear for your convenience - 8 beach towels, 4+ beach chairs, 2+ beach umbrellas, a small cooler and a wagon. There’s also sand toys and floaties for the kids. (All we ask is that you rinse and place the gear back in their spots. We will charge you for any missing or damaged gear - $25 for each towel, $50 each for chairs, umbrellas, cooler and $125 for the wagon.)
The Beach Club offers an infinity pool, hot tub, kids pool, game room, fitness center, pickle ball and basketball courts, gift shop and restaurant (Restaurant and gift shop are closed during winter months.) There’s also a Lazy River Pool (which is heated during cold months) and a hot tub on the Bayside of the property.
There’s a one time fee of $25 per person paid directly to the Beach Club office for access to all these amenities during your entire stay. (4 and under are free.) You can rent a cabana at the Beach Club and also rent bikes to take a ride around the neighborhood.
Rent a golf cart from one of the local companies and take a short ride to the San Luis Pass to fish or enjoy the beach out there. There are endless activities to enjoy on this property.
Our home is set up for family vacations and friendly get-togethers. No large parties, prom, graduations or weddings at this property. Small, house-trained pets are allowed (35 lbs or smaller, 2 max). Please let us know breed and size of pets when you book. We reserve the right to reject your booking based on breed and size of pet.
*There are 3 outdoor cameras installed on the property which are used for security and check-in purposes only. One camera is pointed at the driveway, one camera is pointed at the outdoor, ground-level stair entrance and one camera is pointed at the deck/patio/front entrance.

We were a group 14. We are a group from Tomball whose daughters ride horses competitively at Kmr Equestrian. This is not my first time staying in the Pointe West subdivision we have been renting in Pointe West for the last eight years. Most of these moms and daughters had never been before. Everyone had a wonderful time. Everything was comfortable beautiful and easy access..

We traveled with a group of 10 (adults and children) and the house was perfect for our needs. It was well stocked and in a good location. The host was very communicative and we had a great time.

We reserved this home for our annual beach trip with family. There were 12 of us ranging from age 73 to 5. Everyone had a great time and loved the home. The amenities are a short drive via golf cart or car. You can walk but for the elderly or little kids it’s best to drive down and park. The house itself is one of the best we have reserved in the last 9 years. There was plenty of beds, linens, and beach gear including toys and towels. The pillows, beds and comforters were all good quality, clean and comfortable. The appliances were top of the line and everything worked perfectly. They even had a counter top ice maker and air fryer which is a plus for our family! The owner extended many thoughtful items such as dishwasher pods, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. The misquotes were intense (as they always are) but we stayed in the breeze and lathered down with bug spray. The owner provided an extra bottle of bug spray for anyone who forgets, luckily we had 2 bottles ourselves.

The property was very clean and the owners were responsive. We ran into problems with the air conditioning. The system is set and controlled by the owner and you have to constantly reset it to get it to cool to anything below 73. It was very hot during the day and at night. The listing also states that the Beach Club rents paddle boards, bikes and kayaks. We tried to rent from the Beach Club but we’re referred to off-site companies which then led to us carrying a kayak and paddle board from the house to the beach (not an easy task). This information would have been helpful to have upfront so that we could make arrangements ahead of time.

The owner was quick to answer any question. The entire process was seamless.
I personally recommend renting a golf cart for toting your things to the beach. The beach is just a 3 minute golf cart ride, very helpful to have.
The family agreed this was the best beach house we’ve rented in the 25+ years we’ve been going to Galveston.

The house was very nice and very clean. The contact person was very responsive and attentive to any issue (only one that did not impact our stay). On the negative side, the pool was not open and you needed a code to enter the club (this is not good because we paid a lot of money) so you do not get to get all the benefits of the place. The location is very far away from civilization but the house was nice and quiet. We liked it but it could be better for the price. In general, it was a good stay

We had a short weekend getaway right after thanksgiving. The house was nice and clean with more than enough things to do to keeps the kids occupied. The beach is a short walk away and the neighborhood is calm and quiet. Our whole group had a wonderful time. We would definitely come and stay here again.

It was good, 1 st night a bit AC a bit hot for us but they fixed it the 2nd day - very clean, good conditions. The wish washer apparently we are not smart enough to put it to work, but we reported it as we were leaving- I am sure they took care of it everything else was working expected. We enjoyed the house - club house was fun ! I recommend this property and it’s manager easy to deal with and answer promptly

This is a lovely upscale, roomy home! Great location to the beach - 2 beach entrances within close walking distance! Full working almost new appliances. Also close location to Pointe West club for facility use or restaurant carry out, or in dining! And a Full Size stand up PacMan video arcade - how can you go wrong with that! Thank you!

We’ve stayed in Pointe West for the past four years, and our visit at Martin’s home was the best. The home is beautiful, well stocked and cared for, in a great location, and well laid out. Martin was kind, professional, accessible, and so hospitable. We are already planning to book here again.

The owner of this house is super nice! He sent us cookies one night, & was really easy to get ahold of! The house itself is beautiful! The neighborhood & the beach down at Pointe West is so nice. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for cleaning so we can't say anything about it but other people we know have stayed there & love the pool.
The house is really clean, the decor and furniture are all great! You can definitely tell it is a newer house & its well taken care of. Beach is a 3 minute walk from the house, and pool is probably a 8 min walk. There were just a COUPLE of things that we were complaining about while we were there. (It was myself, husband, our 2 small children, and my adult sister, fiance and mom.) This house is not cheap to stay at, so our standards were high for the amount of money spent. When you get there, you're told you aren't allowed to turn the A/C down lower than 72 for the stay. When you arrive the house is at 78. I totally get conservation & saving money when the property isn't being used. However, it would have been nice if the house had been cooled down to 72 when we got there instead of us having to turn it down & be sweating & hot the entire first afternoon/evening we were there since the A/C had to work so hard to cool off since it was extremely hot out. Again, it might not bother most people, but if you're hot natured, it did get warm in the bedrooms in the evening when the doors are shut (except the bunk bed room my baby was in stayed nice & cool). We did message the owners the 1st night when the house was still trying to cool down & asked if we could venmo some money to pay for their electricity bill to be able to turn it down to 70 at night. He agreed, but we weren't able to turn it down lower than 72 (the AC is a smart system so we it didn't let us go lower than 72) so we just left it alone. It was fine during the day just got stuffy at night with doors closed. Also, the sheets were EXTREMELY scratchy & uncomfortable, & the pillows weren't very comfortable either. My husband & I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter with our own pillows & blankets but everyone else who didnt bring their own weren't thrilled about those sheets/pillows all week. The towels are tiny (like perfect size for my 2 year old but small for adults). We just feel if you spend that kind of money to have nicer sheets and bath towels. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! If you're picky just bring your own sheets/towels.
