Loved the cabin! Relaxing for the adults, enough entertainment for the kids.

What a wonderful location for our family reunion! A great mountain cabin within easy driving distance of all that the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer. The eleven of us enjoyed the spacious, well appointed cabin. There was plenty of hot water for showers each morning and space for all of us to relax. The kids played catch in the drive way, enjoyed a fire with s'mores around the firepit, and we all enjoyed morning coffee on the deck. The bedrooms were all quite spacious and the bathrooms were amazing. We enjoyed using the grill on the deck for a wonderful dinner and the kitchen was fully appointed to meet our cooking needs. There was ample parking and the area around the cabin is beautiful. We would stay here again. Don't miss out on this wonderful cabin.

Beautiful location. Spacious and clean cabin. Well-equipped kitchen. Fun games for all ages. The road to the cabin is curvy and narrow so use caution. The communication from the host was clear and prompt. The amenities on the listing were helpful with knowing what to pack and what would be available in the cabin. The AC worked great. We weren’t sure what to expect with the well water but the pressure was great.
The only things that could be improved on (and these are little things) would be to have more toilet paper and towels available in each bedroom. We were there for four nights so only having one towel per person and one kitchen towel was a stretch.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cabin to friends and family.

The road to the cabin is challenging (very narrow and twisty), but the cabin itself is great. The open floor plan is great if everyone is involved in all the activities, and the place itself is well maintained. Access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made day trip activities easy. We all had a great time on our biannual family gathering.

This Cabin was nice. It provided a place for everyone in the family to have their own space which was great and a space for everyone to be together. We had an issue while staying and the owner of the cabin was very attentive in working out the issue. I would stay again.

This cabin a 10 for sure. We had the best time. We had 6 family members and we all enjoyed it so much. The drive to and from the cabin (really a home) was beautiful. Very close to Pigeon Forge. We will definitely love to stay at this place again. Thanks so much.

Had a great stay. the cabin was very nice. Plenty of room for the 7 of us.. Would stay there again.

The cabin met our needs. It was large enough for 12 and it had enough entertainment for the grandchildren. I would advise people to take extra wash cloths and towels. We had one apiece for each guest. We made memories that will be cherished.

Pros:
- responsive owners who refunded part of cost (good service failure recovery)
- convenient location
- feels secluded even despite cabin next door
Cons:
- dusty overall; cobwebs in hard to reach areas (some other minor cleaning issues that owners quickly responded to and even refunded us the cleaning fee for)
- no room around fireplace for non-stone chairs, meaning if it rains or is cold you’d need a good bit of blankets to sit on (not the biggest issue in the world, obviously)
- never got two of the TVs to work — living room tv especially felt confusing and is really dated / not the best picture (also awkwardly high above fireplace); again, not the biggest issue but noticeable especially during periods of poor weather
- living room furniture needs sized up — not much sitting room at all relative to the number of beds the cabin has
- upstairs skee ball machine doesn’t work / doesn’t work correctly
Overall, definitely not the worst, but also not the best cabin we’ve ever stayed at. Nice, responsive owners who simply need to invest a few bucks into the property via cleaning, furniture upgrades, change in cleaning crew.
4.0 / 5.0
Over-all our stay was very relaxing; we had a couple issues regarding the cleanliness of the cabin and the hot tub, which the owners took care of right away. The kitchen utensils could have been checked by the cleaning crew as we found several pots and pans that had to be re-washed before use. I think if the owners were to visit the cabin, they would find several other items that would benefit them for future families to visit their cabin. That being the Skee Ball Game was broke, the chandelier over the main room could use a good cleaning and the Return Air Grilles were in need of a good cleaning.
Basically a great place to stay, very quiet and secluded. We had a great time in Gatlinburg!!

This house was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, had tons of space for our extended family group, and the games and hot tub keep everyone entertained. We can't wait to come back again.

This place was big enough to host my family and siblings family to celebrate a parents birthday. Very clean when we arrived, great deck with grill and hot tub, fire pit on the property, and very close to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for day trips of hiking, and swimming. Hosts very good at preparing us seemingly always available, although we didn’t want for anything.

We had 5 adults & 3 kids. Upon arrival the first thing that was apparent was lack of cleanliness. I can only hope that a 3rd party is cleaning for them & they are not checking on things in between reservations Which is still irritating considering we couldn’t check in until 4 pm because cleaning crew had to perfect things. There were several towels w/ misc stains, dirt piled under carpets, & dust everywhere. We contacted the host who had no words for the mountain of dirt but would drop off towels as soon as it was convenient. Trying to make the best of our trip we cleaned what we could & moved on. When trying to cook later that 1st evening there was food left from other guests in the cabinets w/ dead bugs, stove was atrocious, & cabinets stained w/ a layer of grease or oil. Still trying to make the best of things we Carried on. fast forward to the next day only day 2 of our reservation we had been out all day & just getting back when it begins to rain- the windows start to leak some pretty significantly. I obviously immediately contact the host & his response was how many windows and are they all on the west side. 9 windows! Mostly west. Water stains from previous leaks. Response was as long as it doesn’t turn to hail we should be ok. we were having to pad windows w/ towels & move our belongings because of the Amt of water coming in. I expressed my dismay w/ the situation & the solution provided was find another place to stay if we didn’t feel safe w/ 3 children July 4th week

This was a great property for a group of adults. Plenty of room for all to have their own space and clean. We were close enough to get to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge within 20-30 mins.

Great property! We stayed with 3 other couples and having 4 master bedrooms was very nice. Had a great time grilling out and sitting by the fire pit at night and enjoying the hot tub. As stated, the drive in can be a little bit intimidating initially but you’ll get used to it! Convenient to everything!

We enjoyed the cabin and all its amenities. It is very spacious and comfortable. The road to the cabin is a bit scary but they did warn us ahead of time. We did have one small issue and the owners were on top of it immediately. I appreciated that from them. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.

If you are looking for a place that is off the beaten path, a place that is quiet, roomy, clean and all the ammenities. Then this is the place. This place is a beautiful log house that has plenty of room . It is away from the downtown crowd where you can see the stars and listen to nature. My brother and I took our mother here for her 80th birthday and she absolutely loved it. Comfortable beds, games for everyone and the owner were easy to communicate with when needed. The house was clean and all ammenties were in good shape. I will definetly booking again. Thank you Anna and Kevin. You have a beautiful place.

Was very quiet and relaxing. The road getting to property is typical for area. Location is 20 minutes away from town which is what we were looking for.
Had a slight plumbing issue and towel shortage. Owner/property mgt were very prompt to get things taken care of right away!
We enjoyed to pool table and skeeball game.
Hot tub was also a plus!
Kitchen pretty well stocked.
Our family enjoyed the home and all the area had to offer!
Would stay again!

We loved this cabin! The location was fantastic for us. It was only a 25 min drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg which we didn’t mind as the privacy and outdoor space was great here. It was so nice to actually have a yard as many cabins are right on top of others. The layout of the cabin was perfect for a family as we could feel connected while also having our own space. The hosts were also very quick to communicate and give us updates for an internet outage(Verizon issue and not the property owners fault). Definitely would stay here again!

The home is even better in person, beautifully appointed, high end appliances, beautiful porch, and every bedroom has its own bathroom. Access to great hikes not too far away. Home is fairly secluded. If you go, make sure to stop by Joe and Pops Subs!

wondrful family retreat- there was plenty of room for us- 6 adults a baby, and two children! the game room was a hit and we loved family dinners at the big kitchen table! It was about a 15 minute drive to town and about 20 minutes to Ober Gatlinburg and trails. - we needed more towels anf they brought them to us right away. thanks for a wonderful holiday!

First, I will say, definitely follow the directions provided by your host! The ride up to the cabin isn't bad, but arriving after dark the first night isn't a great idea. The cabin is beautiful & well kept. And there was plenty of room for 7 adults & 2 kids. It is very spacious and the game room was perfect for hanging out and keeping the kids occupied. All the bedrooms have an electric "fireplace" which was perfect for cold weather. The beds are comfortable & smelled clean & sanitized. We slept very well. We had everything we needed & communicating with the host was easy. If it is important to you, you do have neighbors. But it's a very quiet area. It's only 20 minutes to fun and dining. FYI: If you go for breakfast we HIGHLY recommend Mama's Farmhouse. Seriously!! Thank you Anna & Kevin for this beautiful space. We will keep you in mind for next time! ❤

This cabin checked all the boxes on my search. Up front, everything was easy. Upon arrival, the location and view made the experience special. After getting past the new arrival feeling, we started to notice little things here and there that brought our attention to cleanliness concerns.
Pretty dirty windows affected the view. Dust, dirt, and hair in various prominent spots around the floor meant we certainly were not walking around barefoot. Two vacuum that didn’t work. One carpet looked like dirt was literally swept under it…a lot of dirt. We swept that up.
I brought up the cleanliness concern to the owners as one, they are charging me a cleaning fee. Two, presumably the previous tenant was charged the same fee and I checked in without some basic things being cleaned. Three, the owner might be paying their cleaner for a job their cleaner didn’t or isn’t doing. All I was told was thank you for bringing this to their attention. I’m not sure what I expected as a response, but something more than thank you.
If they get this cleaning issue taken care of, it would be a great location to stay. If not, maybe this comment will affect a someone else’s future box NOT getting checked. This area has hundreds of other cabins. Consider that in your search.

My family and I booked this cabin for a late Christmas/New Years trip. We loved the cabin. It was very clean and was very roomy for 8 people. The roads leading up to the cabin were a little tough driving at night but the instructions from the owners made us aware before we even showed up. The owners also reached out to us to let us know of a snow/ice storm and offered us an early checkout for our safety. We will definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends!

The home itself is beautiful and cozy. Love the wooden beams and the cabin feel. The bedrooms size is big. I enjoyed and appreciated the warmth from the fake firepit in the bedroom during the night. It had all the appliances you needed. The beds were comfortable. My children enjoyed the game room. Had a pool tournament on a rain day. The hot tub was large enough for 4 of my kids with 1 adult. The backyard was exclusive. The fire pit area was a nice touch to roast hit dogs and make smores. The chairs(stones) were too close to the fire for my liking. The front of the cabin is pretty lit up at night. The neighbors are close in the front but not on top close. No noise complaints. Though we sleep with sound machines. Make sure you take your motion sickness meds before you get too close those roads will make ya sick. And don't drive in the dark on those roads. Anna and Kevin were very responsive and polite. The only issue I had was with the cleaners. The floors werent cleaned and sanitary. The mirrors werent cleaned good. The cleaners havent dusted in probably a year. I know that Anna and Kevin can't do anything about if their not told about it, so hopefully theres a change.
To leave on a positive note, there is a family dollar near by. There's a few crafts buildings near by too. Downtown Gatlinburg isn't far either. We hiked on Gatlinburg Trail Trailhead. It's a easy and short distance hike. Love the sound of water. The water was flowing nicely that it made it seem like mini waterfalls everywhere.
Thanks Anna and Kevin

Awesome cabin- super cozy but not small. Beautiful yard area. The drive in is pretty too but I would not suggest doing it at night. The hosts were amazing. We noticed shortly after arriving. about 5 pm, that the coffee pot was missing., I emailed the hosts, and they had one delivered by 10 pm the same night. Absolutely would stay here again.

What a wonderful home set in the mountains. It is beautiful and comfortable! Close enough to town yet far enough away to relax! This vacation consisted of family and friends ranging from 16-62. I was able to check another thing off my bucket list - zip lining. I am afraid of heights but wanted to do this, especially in the Smokey Mountains.
We cooked steaks and kabobs on the grill, we all enjoyed the hot tub under the stars. We were able to see a bald eagle, wild turkeys. A wonderful experience, our first trip to Tennessee. We will most defintely be back!
