The property is in a great location. There was a lot of cobwebs but mostly clean. The sliding door.is in horrible condition and the dishwasher drain clogged up on us.

I stayed here with a group of adults for Labor Day weekend. Very convenient location with direct beach access and a quick 5-minute drive to heavenly and the casinos. The condo was clean and check-in was simple. I will note, the home is not well stocked and does not have AC which wasn’t ideal for the hot weekend. I imagine this condo would be best suited for families, not a group of friends.

We checked in to a thoroughly clean and prepared condo. This was our first stay since Vacasa took over the property, and they are doing a great job.

This property has a perfect location if you are looking to be on the water. The property had great amenities, pools, hot tub, beach chairs, towels, etc. We enjoyed that there were beach toys for the kids in our group.
Our unit had ample amount of sleeping spaces. Without AC, we were not able to use the upper level for sleeping. It was just too warm. Also, if we would have been in the unit during the day, it would have been a bit uncomfortable. But it cooled down enough at night to get it back to a nice temperature. There were fans everywhere, they have absolutely taken comfort into consideration. I understand the lack of, being a mountain town.
The unit was stocked very nicely in the kitchen for any parties that plan to cook. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer in our unit.
Our unit was nice enough. It showed some wear and tear and we noticed somethings were in need of repair. Nothing that effected the functionality of the unit. It just gave a picture of poor upkeep. Loose sink faucets and toilet paper holders, worn out grout, etc.
Comfortable and pleased.

We came in town for a hockey tournament. I had stayed in these condos before.

Home was super spacious, very homey and warm. BEST part the lake was o our backyard!

We really enjoyed the stay and the view of South Lake Tahoe is sensational. A car is recommended. The fire pit in the evening was great. A couple of improvements needed such as the beds in double rooms were extremely uncomfortable as there is a hollow in the middle.

Our place was clean & had Netflix, Disney & other channels. Outside of our stay had nice views of the lake with the dock.

I wish we knew that a bear pretty much lives in the property. When we were trying to get in there was a huge bear right outside our door. The lock kept erroring out so it took us longer to get inside. It was really scary. And he came back the next night. Glad we did doordash for dinner. But the delivery lady was super scared.
The beds are too soft. There wasn’t enough hot water for all of us.
The bathrooms are so tiny, felt i was on a cruise ship bathroom.
Other than that. Place is nice. Enough room for a large party. Well stocked kitchen. Close walk to the lake. Centrally located. Liked the washer dryer in the unit.

For South Lake Tahoe, the location is central. You're one block from Whole Foods, and within 30 minutes driving of a lot of good hiking. There's a private beach on the property, though it's not as picturesque as those beaches if you drive further off. Place could be cleaner. Sink was clogged. Showers meh. No oil, salt, or basic items to help w/ cooking. They give you only 2 toilet rolls of paper per bathroom, and would not give more when we asked, though we were staying 4 nights. That was annoying.

The house is great with plenty of space as well as wonderful amenities for vacationing with family. The only way this could’ve been better is if we could have had early check-in. We were told we could not have early check-in because the cleaners needed time but the cleaners were very clearly done by the time we got there.

Great property with easy access to lakefront and amazing private lake views. Also is at walking distance from town center as well as a nice breezy walk to the lake

Beautiful location! Comfortable beds and easy access to everything - each, pier, shops, dining) However, the home was not very clean (ceiling fans were grossly dusty, trash under a bed, dishwasher not unloaded) and the kitchen amenities were sparse.

The location of the house is great, however our stay was more than disappointing. We arrived in the evening and immediately noticed all the beds were very visibly sunken in. It was impossible to sleep. My partner and I ended up switching rooms at 3 in the morning and sleeping in separate beds so we wouldn't sink towards each other. Also there is no insulation between the top and bottom floors - you can hear everything very clearly as if you were in the same room. The cherry on top was the refrigerator that was so loud it kept my in-laws up who were sleeping next to the kitchen. We called the next morning and were told a local manager would get back to us within an hour. Called again, was told the same thing. Called again... and you get the picture. Finally after calling multiple times a local manager got back to us later that night and told us the beds were new. When I mentioned they were all visibly sunken in she said they're supposed to be like that...? We requested that we be moved and were offered a couple different apartments. However, they were all far away from the area we were staying, and the reviews were also iffy so we decided to stick it out. We were told someone would get back to us regarding the issue with the fridge, but no one ever did. All in all we would obviously not go back. The location and living room/kitchen were good but did not make up for 4 sleepless nights. When we were cleaning up to leave I realized all the box springs were TOUCHING the floor. So one recommendation, PLEASE replace the box springs. Also when someone staying at one of your rentals calls, maybe call them back.

everything was awesome, my crew had such a great time in this place, it had only a few things dirty in some rooms but not enough to complain, overall, AWESOME time there highly recommend

The location was perfect right by the lake and walking distance to the market. Less than a 10 minute drive to Heavenly. The home was clean, had all the appliances, and there were sleds for the kids.

The location is amazing and access to beach/lake is great. The condo itself has issues. First, Vacasa was adamant that we should not enter the premises till 4 pm so staff could clean, and when we arrived the door was open and the place a mess. It took an extra couple hours before we could enter after they got a cleaning crew out. They gave us a small refund but honestly it was painful after a day of travel to not be able to settle in. On top of that the showers didn't drain properly, they did come to fix that. Light bulbs were out and the roof leaked during a thunderstorm. It feels like no-one really checks on the place to make sure everything is in working order. Worse, this place has poor ventilation and no AC, so it can get hot. We figured out to leave the windows open and turn on all the fans. It was bearable then. Kitchen is on the second floor, so not ideal for folks who have trouble with stairs. The location is awesome which makes up for a lot of the homes faults.

This place is located right in the heart of South Lake. Close to casinos, restaurants, and other activities. Would recommend for the location only. The structure itself is hot during the summer with no AC and sounds reverberate. The slightest footstep is easily heard throughout. Overall the place was clean, though there was hair from previous guest in the shower drain catch. Rate this place a 3/5

Great location, nice condo.

There were cobwebs over the dining room table no extra paper towels no Kleenex. The door to the patio sticks or is off the railing a little bit. One of the chairs on the patio is starting to unravel. Otherwise we enjoyed the room quite a bit. We would come back again but would possibly go through another subsidiary other than Vacasa. Our family stayed at another one of the condos here and we’re giving much better treatment and allowed Mark parking passes for overflow where ours was said that they could not do it.

This condo complex is in an awesome location. However, for the high price I was disappointed in the lack of details and amenities offered. Usually for a unit on the lake like this, the unit might offer a couple beach chairs and umbrella. While there were lounge chairs on the beach for sharing, I expected a few more beach items for a family sized unit. Also, there were no oven mitts or plastic cups/cutlery for children in the kitchen, and one kitchen towel for a week. And as a note for anyone with very small children, the main staircase is made of stone and very narrow, and the stairs to the loft have holes in between the stairs that a baby can fall through. Also, there’s a low window in the main floor bedroom with a lose screen a child can fall through and a hole under the railing on the balcony a child can fall through- I don’t know how these pass code. My husband and I joked it was a death trap. Other than having to block off all those areas, the bedrooms and living room are comfortable.
Note that you have to check in at a different location than the unit is located, and they wouldn’t allow us to check in 45 minutes early (didn’t try to radio housekeeping or anything, just said they don’t allow check in prior to 4pm).
In summary, I would definitely stay in a condo in Lakeview Village again, but would likely look for a different one that has been updated and is better appointed, and also ideally wouldn’t want to go through Vacasa AND vrbo as you end up paying double booking/management fees which is annoying.

Excellent
Our family arrived early and they allowed us to check in early. Vacasa team is excellent and very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Property had plenty of space for my family and was very clean, cozy and well stocked in the kitchen. Look forward and hoping to book in the near future!!!

Very Cozy
I really loved this place! It’s had everything we needed in the kitchen and the quality of the pans, pots, knives etc. was great. I also loved how with the flick of a switch, you had a cozy fire on. Every room had its own TV and there was a big table for family meals. Someone mentioned in the review that if you are sleeping in the bedroom next to the kitchen, you can hear the people below you, which is true but not a big deal for us. The stairs don't have carpet, so be sure to bring your slippers. Awesome stay! I have no complaints!

Wonderful South Lake Tahoe condo for Families
Just got back from a nice 4 day stay with my wife and 3 kids and this place is as advertised. Nice kitchen and big dinner table. Great location 50 yards from the pool and great beach with a nice pier. Rooms are nice and each bedroom has big tv's w good cable and netflix for kids at night. bathrooms a bit small but overall highly recommend. If we ever get a chance to come back to Tahoe we would stay here again!

very pricey for what you get
Very clean property! Pretty decor! Great access to beach! Trying to contact the management with a question took several days and was only resolved because we called them back. Items for use in condo were the cheapest possible (paper towels, dish soap, dish towels, toilet paper). We ended up buying our own items to use. The lower level is so cold that the nice bath towels feel damp to the touch. Had to use the heater in June for the lower level even though the main floor was comfortable. The master (king room) was very noisy anytime anyone was in the queen room above it. Could actually hear what others were talking about in their private space. Oh, and the slate (non-carpeted) stairs are very slick (especially in socks as there is a no-shoe policy) and not well lighted as my husband found out when he missed the last step and broke two bones in his foot.

Perfect location and lots of room!
We recently had a great week up in Tahoe with a perfect location for family and friends to spread out, yet all be together. We highly recommend this home for family and friends coming together to share a home, yet have space to find some solitude when needed. The kitchen was a perfect size for a larger group and three full bathrooms allowed for everyone to have their personal space. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the home was really clean for a space walking steps from the beach. Only issue we had was the the top floor master floor boards are really squeaky and need a layer of insulation in the King master on the first floor, so we recommend earplugs if you want to sleep in and the folks above get up early. We will def. come back with earplugs for our mornings to sleep in!

Great Location, Clean & Spacious
We spent a weekend here with another family for my son’s fifth birthday. Both families had a five-year-old and a two-year-old. Great location to the lake, easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Two minute drive to downtown, traffic permitting. Definitely recommend this stay, could’ve easily accommodated a third family.
