All very well organised and facilities excellent. Staff very efficient and friendly. Location perfect.
Not much provision for those who are vegan/vegetarian. Would have been good to have outdoor seating, terrace or balcony of some sort.
9.0
Staff and location excellent! Amenities were excellent!
The bathtub plug was inoperative. The pillows flattened easily and the toilet seat was uncomfortable

Staff were great, hotel is excellent in all respects
There was a wedding on which meant certain areas were off limits, not a major issue but a slight negative.
Staff at the Spa were officious, cold and unhelpful. Given the prices I would have expected a more welcoming attitude.

Breakfast was excellent. Standard of room was excellent. Overall ambience was excellent. The views from the Swilcan Loft are very good. All the staff we met were very helpful.

Friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, especially for gluten-free options. Great shuttle service to and from golf courses and awesome location walking distance from the beach. Loved the Prosecco welcome drinks! đź’™
Felt slightly overpriced, could've included the room bar as complimentary and possibly a free game on the golf course.

Beautiful location
Reception staff was not friendly and acted like it was a bother to do their job!
However, the person that took care of our room was exceptional and I looked for her to give her a nice tip but couldn’t find her.

The hotel is great. It's amazing. The best part was breakfast. I was not expecting a table with the most incredible view of the Old Course. Absolutely magical.

We had an amazing stay to celebrate our anniversary. From the front desk to the wait staff we were made to feel so welcome. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with a turndown service. We loved our meal in the Swilkin Loft and breakfast had a great range of food - everything was delicious.
Nothing.

Check in was easy and staff very friendly.
The Jigger Inn is brilliant - great food and atmosphere. You should pre-book as it gets really busy and its not very big.
Nothing - Its the perfect hotel.

The room wqs beautiful with a great view, as wqs breakfast and the kohler spa was the highlight!
Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Shout out to concierge and the lovely man in the kilt who showed us to our room and had an ice bucket delivered when we had asked about an ice machine.
We had issues with the reservation and were told we would have to pay ÂŁ50 extra than what we had booked for. This had all been sorted prior to arrival but upon arrival at reception, it had not been sorted for us and we had to wait for a supervisor to agree to a change in the booking and for our room to be made up even although we arrived around 4.15pm.
The fridge in the room was really loud and I never really slept and there was no bed side lights, just spotlights on the ceiling which were really bright when you want to sit and relax.

Every member of staff was exceptional. Vert friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent.
There was nothing we didn’t like.
our only problem was that in the afternoon on New Years Day we realised we had missed lunch and it was a long time till dinner and we couldn’t get food anywhere in the hotel as the only place serving food was full.
We had to drive into the town to get something to eat which was not easy on that day as many places were closed. I thought a hotel this size would have been able to produce a sandwich without too much difficulty.

Staff, service, facilities and food are all excellent.
The mattress and pillows weren’t as comfortable as similar quality hotels.
10.0
The friendly greeting from check in staff, the 'welcome' drinks, the overall cleanliness of the room, the attention to detail including the greeting card and champagne and canapés in our room to help us celebrate my wife's birthday, the complimentary content of the mini bar. Our dinner in Sands was excellent and the service fabulous. Lovely stay, couldn't be faulted.

beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast
standard of the cocktail at the cocktail bar and no draft beer. Very slow service in the upstairs bar due to only one person on the bar and only one person taking orders đź‘Ž. The Sands hotel was cold and sparsely decorated with Christmas decs which was really disappointing.
