Not good, and won’t be returning.
The location was good, as only 5 minute walk to town with nice restaurants etc.
Everything! The room was awful. The windows wouldn’t close (and was on a main road), the bathroom was dirty, there was no reception on the TV, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. One of the reasons I booked was because it said there was a restaurant at the hotel (as it was a flying visit), but the restaurant hadn’t been open since covid. Out of date information on the website.

Passable
Room was accessible straight from the car park
No facilities to get an evening meal or drink at the hotel; no WiFi; car park difficult to locate; decor very tired!

A curate's egg. A few improvements could have made it much better.
Beds were comfortable and there was little noise from outside the building. Cooked breakfast (paid for separately) was good, but not exceptional, and poor value at £10 each.
Amazingly, there was no drinking water, either in our room, or, it seems, anywhere in the hotel. Not sure if this is legal in a hotel or B&B, Also there was no plug in the sink in our room.

very welcoming and room very clean, gentleman was very helpful and the lady was lovely as I was on my own for a few hours as partner working. took time out to make sure I was ok and anything else I needed
going in with an open mind due to bad reviews can’t really say anything bad. it’s old building. but staff couldn’t be anymore helpful
