Spot clean and quiet place with the greates view.
The girls in reception were doing a great job and were very helpful with any enquiry.
The mattress in my room was a bit old and it would be nice to have a charger next to the bed

Good location and everything was great!
Just that it was hot and stuffy with the fan on all night.. can’t open windows for the mozzies.
4.5
Very easy to find, good parking, amazing view from front of property, couple of outdoor hammocks were a great addition.
There were lots of mosquitos at night in the heat. Might be a good idea to get insect screens on front of windows so they can remain open but not allow for insects to come in
4.5
Absolutely stunning location! Beautiful garden, some of the best sunsets I have seen. Cozy and spacious common areas. Very friendly staff. Beautiful Onetangi Beach nearby.
The shared rooms are very small- 2 persons only, which has plenty of advantages, but they are also a bit small and can get stuffy when the windows are closed (as there's some mosquitos). Otherwise, everything is great.

Clara was the good house ghost, she managed everything, what I asked her. She was more than friedly. She looked that everything was good . She was engagiert that the house was clean. and all was going a good way in the Hostel.
For 2 Personen the room was very small and there where no hanger in the wardrobe..The Manager was not abel to get some.

Clean and organised. Nice view.

Good location,
Value for money
Kitchen could be tidier,
No room in fridges as taken up with long stay residents

It is tidy and clean. The staff are very helpful.I like the sea view in the front of the hostel. It is fantastic to have a breakfast there. I reckon it is the best view of the island.
There is no enough body wash in he bathroom. But overall it was an excellent experience about staying.

Handy location
Easy walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants
Older buildings, could use a freshen up, but everything was fine

The views towards the sea was beautiful (2 mins walk down to the beach - stairs). Decent walk to nearby countdown and restaurants (windy and rolling roads - no footpath, walking on roadside). Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Heater in room and had extra blankets. Showers were great.
The kitchen was quite dirty with old tea towels. Only 2 female toilets. Windy road to the hostel.

Super calm and great location
Rooms might be a lil bit small

Friendly, close to the beach, cleaned regularly, quiet in winter.

Staff was really nice and helpful, nice view from the private room. Nice location overlooking Onetangi beach.
The room could use better insulation sound-wise (corridor side), could clearly hear what was going on behind the door at all times.

Amazing view, lovely staff, great Hostel

Was there breakfast? We were not aware breakfast was available. I liked the area and the position of the backpackers. The staff kept the backpackers very clean.
There were no mosquito screens on the bedroom windows, as a result I wouldn't come back as the rooms are too hot without fresh air.

Staff very friendly and hard working
Beautiful location.

Room was comfortable & nice. View was amazing from the hostel. Good airflow in the rooms & facilities were clean and tidy. Nice friendly staff.
Location was a bit out of the way of things, owner gave us the wrong key and had to ring him late at night to get the new key. We saw a small cockroach on one of the pillows. Lots of bugs if windows are left open!

Fabulous location, fantastic staff, good facilities, really relaxing and views are sensational. Especially loved lying in the hammocks looking out at the ocean.
Beds were a bit creaky.

first stay in a hostel. was happy I did. for a mere $67 US dollars a nite I got a double bed comfortable for sure. shared loo shower. but mind you the shower room was private while you used it w doors, options for laundry just $4 NZ for washer or dryer! and a view that was stunning! I had a car so I was spoiled. popped into 2 different town areas for meals, drinks, shopping—the beach was 170 steps down a cement pathway through a lush garden with birds singing! I’d absolutely go back.
wish they mowed the lawn a bit.

Thanks for the hosting, I had to leave earlier, but I made it to Fiji 🇫🇯
Shops can be a bit further away..

Lovely location, amazing views and common area outside. Friendly staff, friendly guests, very close to a wonderful beach, easy connections by public transport to the most parts of the island. Possibility to rent e-bikes on site.
There could be stricter rules on cleanliness as the kitchen was rather messed up at times. Also there was no space in fridges even though it seemed that some of the food was kept there to rot even after guests leaving.
2.5
Staff were nice when the counter was manned. Seems like a good location.
Loudest place I’ve stayed, even though there was a 10pm quiet time numerous guests continued to yell and slam doors until 4am - running up and down the hallway and nobody from the facility said anything or moderated this which was really disappointing. Didn’t sleep at all. This was a Thursday night so not even a Saturday. Showers were so dirty - just felt really disappointed with the facilities based off how much we paid for one nights accommodation. Would have been better sleeping in the car would have had more peace
