Very clean; bed are comfortable; has everything you need; loved the privacy of the backyard and driveway; close to the city but seems like it's not; great local pub that is in a walkable distance

Our high schooler participated in a “stay and play”soccer showcase so we chose a VRBO instead of a hotel. This was our first time using a VRBO and everything was great. The house was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood safe and Mike was responsive and super helpful. We’ve already bookmarked the house to stay at next year!

We came to town to visit family. The house was clean and cozy. All the bedrooms were comfortable (our little one loved the futon). We were able to have family over and take advantage of the kitchen and dining room. Our daughters loved that we were walking distance to coffee shops and the best toy store ever. Mike was great at communication. We hope to be back often.

We loved our stay! One of the best rentals we have ever been at. Extremely clean, gorgeous house, wonderful neighborhood and excellent communication. We will be staying there each time we visit our family on Ohio!

Great location in Eastern Cincinnati. Close to town and many restaurants and shopping. Comfortable house, located in a nice safe neighborhood.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this house very much. Communication was very detailed and clear with the host and helpful house manual! Great restaurants close by and nice streets surrounding the house to easily walk the dog. We were pleasantly surprised at how many supplies were provided, and would gladly return next time we’re in the area! Thanks, Mike!

House is in an amazing location walking distance to coffee, bagels, toy shop and more. Easily accessible with kids in strollers! We had a 6mo and 2.5yo and each kid could have their own room. We borrowed the pack n play too, which was already set up when we got there! High chair was great too. Amenities like dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner and soap (baby & adult) all made our stay very comfortable. Nice yard and back deck too - although it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the deck as we couldn’t do much out there with the kids as it gets full sun all day. Yard is not fenced either so we just had to keep our dog on a leash (no big deal but just something to note). We would definitely stay here again for a future visit! Mattresses were comfy and rooms are decent size.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home. The location is great for doing different activities in Cincinnati.

My family and I stayed here to enjoy many activities in the city and in KY. We had no idea the house and neighborhood itself would be as wonderful of an addition to the trip that it was! Cleanliness was excellent, we enjoyed the Wii, darts, and exercise supplies. Our host thought of everything from providing snacks and coffee, toiletries in case we forgot, and so much more. We were just a short walk to great restaurants and the best toy store we have ever visited. The ice cream and chocolate shops nearby were also a bit. This is by far our most excellent stay!

Super easy to get to, super clean, and just enough charm to make it interesting! Would stay there again!

We were in town for a family baptism and needed a place to stay. The Oakley Charmer was perfect! We had five adults stay at the house comfortably. We hosted breakfast before the baptism and had everything we needed to make pancakes and seating for 10. There was a very nice playpen for the baby which made nap time so much easier. I hope to stay here in the future for other family events.

We drove up from Florida for my son’s senior swim meet recognition at the University of Cincinnati, and got in on Thursday night. The house was in perfect condition, great neighborhood, quiet, and very safe. Walking distance to great restaurants. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. We were extremely pleased with the house!!

Mike was a great host, great at communication and the home had every amenity one could think of. House was super clean and the location was great as well. Thanks again!

We were so pleased with our four-night stay. As Cincinnati natives, we were familiar with Oakley but now we truly understand its charm. This restored home had two Queen-size beds for us, our son and DIL plus a perfect room for their son’s crib. We were steps away from the best chili, ice cream, sushi and pizza in the city. The home was remarkably well-equipped, down to the coffee and a package of cookies. But the best amenity for our group were the child-friendly touches (a gate, little silverware, a high chair) AND, for our grandson, an amazing push car to use as we explored Cincy. Everything was spotless, well-maintained and comfortable. We hope to stay again!

The house is exactly as pictured. The backyard is very nice snd the first floor is very spacious.
It was a perfect home for our family and a great location. We were able to walk to brunch and dinner. We even visited the toy store. We hope to stay there again!

The owners were very thoughtful by including many things that travelers might need including items for your pet, things for small children (including a high chair), plus additional toiletries if needed. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Cincinnati.

We stayed for the long weekend on our visit to family in Cincinnati. Always nice to have your own place to retire for the evening. Place was clean, had everything we needed for us and our dog. Mike was great- friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. Even gave tips for places around town for us to go with the kids. Games for kids- electronic (wii) and old school (Uno, Cincinnati monopoly, etc). We plan to stay again next time we come to Cincinnati.

Weekend home
This house was a perfect home base for a weekend with friends visiting our kids who live in Cincinnati. The neighborhood was great, easy to walk to restaurants and park, yet a short drive to downtown and UC. Everything was clean and the hosts thought of every amenity to make it an enjoyable weekend.

We stay in a lot of VRBOs and this is one of the best managed ones we've ever come across. Mike (local property manager) was so helpful and accommodating. The house and neighborhood are great, especially for children and pets. Everything you need is at the house, and it's very comfortable and well-maintained. When we come back to Cinci we'll definitely stay in this home again.

We had a really nice stay in Oakley. The house was clean and welcoming, communication was great, location was perfect.
A nice touch was the charging station in the kitchen with all different types of cords/connections, and basic toiletries were available if you forgot something.
We loved the large wood dining table and used it for eating and for playing games at night. The beds were comfortable -- but different, one softer and one more firm. Everything we needed for cooking and dining was available in the kitchen. Large windows for letting in light but also blinds for privacy.
We had a great time and were happy with our choice of this house. A couple of things to note:
- There are 2 bedrooms with beds. There is a small office with a leather futon that could be used as another bedroom. This was fine for us but FYI.
- The stairs going upstairs are steep and narrow. This was not a problem for the 30yo or the 60yo, but it was very uncomfortable for both 80yo grandparents.
- The main bathroom is upstairs -- no bathroom on the main floor. (There is a toilet in the basement but in an open area. The stairs going to the basement are also steep and narrow.)

Amazing
We loved the location, and the property was very clean. The host was great as well. We would definitely stay here again.

An outstanding, super clean, quiet, comfortable, house in a grea
We gave this house five stars but would give it one hundred if we could. The owner has thought of everything, the location is near many shops, grocery stores, parks, and restaurants, and everything is spotlessly clean. The house is very comfortable and peaceful and we felt very safe. There are two lovely porches and flowers in the yard and window boxes. We highly recommend this house. It is perfect!

This is a lovely place to stay in Cincinnati! The home is in a great neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and parks, many of which are in walking distance. The house is well equipped and spotlessly clean, which we especially appreciated during the pandemic. The owner provides many of the essentials, which helped make our stay more carefree. There are lovely porches, flowers, and a Rookwood fireplace. We highly recommend this home!
