The breakfast was exceptional. Locally grown fruits, homemade jams, pastries. Local meat and seafood in individual servings. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant are very kind. Great service.
There is no sand on the beach. But they put out lounge chairs and will bring food and drinks to you which is great.

Excellent family-run hotel. Perfect for a relaxing stay, far away from busy tourist areas. Located at the seaside, with a beautiful view. The breakfast was amazing. We’ve also tried the Michelin star restaurant, great culinary experience. The family that runs the hotel as well as staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay at Taverna del Capitano.

Taverna Del Capitano exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the staff were all so kind and attentive. The views are amazing as the property is situated on the beach. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Having access to the beach lounges was a major plus - no extra charge. We recommend ordering a nerano spritz while lounging at the beach, this came with complimentary Sicilian olives which were the best olives we have ever tasted. We ate dinner at the restaurant our first night and it was incredible! Nerano is a beautiful quiet beach town. However you have easy access to day trips to capri or positano from the ferry which is right in front of the hotel - $50 euro per person. We also hired a boat for the day with some friends which is a fun activity we recommend - $200 euro plus fuel no license required. Overall would recommend to anyone - this part of our trip was an absolute highlight!

Everything was fabulous. We were bowled over from the start. Our room directly overlooked one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. The staff took care of everything for us—a limoncello tour, a day trip to Capri, and a cooking class with their Michelin two-star chef. We did not want to leave!

Very nice hotel. We had a room with sea view. Lovely balcony with 2 nice chairs. The sea is very close and it's a nice beach with was very peaceful in the beginning of May. Staf is very friendly. Breakfast is special with quality food.
Everything was really good.
The only thing was the wifi: an unsafe connection and then my laptop doesn't work and you have to use your own MB's to stream if you want that.

The hotel is right on the beach. They have private beach area with chairs and umbrellas free for quests. Room was big enough, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was one of the best we have had - choice of local cheeses, hams, fresh fruits, fresh pastries etc.

an unforgettable experience! we left England with just one thought: "eating at chef Caputo". From the first moment we arrived they took care of us, a fantastic team. The strong point of the structure is the respect and quality of the raw material. We felt at home, and will definitely come back. Thanks to the whole family for making us live our stay in an impeccable way.
