About this cottage rental
This is truly a hidden gem as guests would say! This newly renovated guest house/in-law suite (above garage) is right across the street from the beach with private beach access. It features a beautiful white kitchen, 1 bedroom with king size bed, sectional couch with pull out full bed, 1 full bathroom, washer/dryer and outdoor shower.
Since this unit is above our garage you will potentially hear the garage open/close and cars pulling in/out through various times of the day/night as we live here full-time. This is a shared driveway with the hosts and we have one parking spot available for 1 vehicle during your stay. This unit is detached from the main house and has its' own entrance and separate HVAC.
Our location is in close proximity to St Augustine, downtown Jacksonville, Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach. We have 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, 1 beach bag and 4 beach towels available to use during your stay!

This VRBO was excellent, It was everything in the description and more. The Beach is steps away and you have to yourself. Absolutely private and so comfortable. The owners are there for any questions, we fortunately didn't need them for anything. I would recommend this VRBO for any couple that is looking to getaway.

We loved our stay at Rachel and Stephen's place, the beach there is beautiful and access was a breeze (once we spotted the gate - it felt very Secret Garden. We also were right down the street from family members who have homes in the area, so convenient. The extra snacks were appreciated, the kitchen was well-stocked with essentials like butter, olive oil, spices, coffee, tea, etc. We also loved the re-usable k-cups for the keurig as my daughter and I had packed loose tea and there was no kettle. Overall a great stay and would stay again!

We had such an amazing stay. The property is like new and in pristine condition. The owners provide a lot of little extras, including snacks, beach, chairs, towels, and an umbrella. We would love to stay here again if we have the chance.

This guest house is in a perfect location! It is easy to get to St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, or Jacksonville. Having private access to the beach right across the street was such a luxury! The cottage is extremely clean and well stocked with necessities as well as little extras.
Rachel communicates very quickly and clearly, which made it really easy! They are great hosts and have a beautiful home. I would not hesitate to book here again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, highly recommend it and hope it will be available when we come again to Ponte Vedra to visit our son. The unit was very clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The master bedroom is separate, has another TV and the king size bed is extremely comfortable. Everything you need is provided, lots of towels, beach chairs, BBQ, and even little snacks! The location is perfect with easy across-the-street access to the beach! Rachel is a wonderful host who was easy to reach and kept in close communication to make sure everything was going well. Thank you Rachel for being a wonderful host!

Can’t wait to return. I’m in town often and love the location of this property as well as the clean and upscale interior. Loved walking on the very close by beach and within the neighborhood. Property managers were great communicators, too. A lovely spot!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The cottage was very clean, with luxe decor & the hosts had thoughtful touches such as snacks & beverages as well as beach chairs & an umbrella available for use. We took advantage of the short walk to the beach with several walks & some beach time. We hope to return to this cute cottage next time we are in the area!

The cottage was lovely! Even better in person than in pictures! The host provided many extras that spoke of her thoughtfulness and care for guests. Everything was spotless. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, and it was a joy to sit at the beach listening to and watching the waves! It was also pleasant to sit on the deck outside of the cottage, enjoying the breeze and sounds of nature. It is a very peaceful place to stay, and is highly recommended! Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!!

Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at this seaside guest house in Ponte Vedra, and I must say it was an amazing experience. The location of the house is everything - just steps from the beach with a private access and perfectly placed in this lovely community. Quite possibly the most wonderful spring break and beach experiences to-date.
The house itself was ideal for our family. The space is very well designed, with a beautiful and modern interior. The amenities provided were top-shelf, with everything one could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house was immaculately clean, and the owners were friendly and welcoming, making us all feel right at home. Their attention to every detail and quick response time ensured that we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. We appreciated the extra touches like snacks, toiletries, fresh towels and linens, as well as the thoughtful recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are very responsive and friendly. The beach is just across the street, about a 2 minute walk, through private access. The unit was beautifully decorated and fully stocked with kitchen equipment and supplies, nice toiletries, plenty of towels and linens — everything we needed and more. My husband and I came down for a quick getaway to visit my sister and her family. This wonderful gem was just perfect! It is within walking distance to my sister’s, it is beautiful, quiet and private. Everything you could want or need is provided for you. There is a private beach access across the street and if there is anything you need the host are always available for help or recommendations.
We truly enjoyed our stay there and have already booked a return visit!

Absolutely loved this rental. It is just as pictured and more. Very comfy bed. Big shower. Tastefully appointed. Huge supply of snacks, bottled water and paper goods. Q-tips and makeup pads. Variety of pots , pans, appliances. Very clean. Love the plantation shutters and beach supplies. I will be back gladly.

So impressed with how clean this property was! I have never stayed anywhere that was so clean they got every detail down. Everything was well stocked and we didn’t have to get ent necessities like paper towels, toiletries etc. would highly recommend anyone who is visiting the area to stay here!

A PERFECT weekend!
My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Gronberg’s property!! So many wonderful things about our experience…the communication from beginning to end, the beautiful neighborhood just a short stroll to the gorgeous private beach, the proximity to St. Augustine - one of our favorite go-to’s- and how beautifully appointed their place was. I am a certified, professional home stager and interior stylist and absolutely loved everything about their place!!! So well done! All of the essentials needed were there (and then some!) and the check-in and check-out process was super easy! We will definitely be staying here again!! Thank you Rachel and Stephan!

Bed was comfy, plenty of hot shower water, wifi worked great, actual TV channels available and not just wifi which is a big upgrade to most VRBOs, private beach access, and the list goes on. Host was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We tried several of their recommended food choices and even did a little local kayaking. Great trip and wonderful place. Highly recommend it!

The house was beautiful! A quick three minute walk to a beautiful, quiet beach. Close to many different places for a quick day trip or just to pick up something. Lots of good places to eat. The homeowners did a great job communicating directions, places to go around town, and information about the trip. 5 out of 5 for sure!!!
