About this villa rental
A magnificently positioned restored farmhouse, situated on its own rise in the heart of the Chianti area, Il Corno effortlessly blends the 19th-century rural history of the Italian stone structures with a contemporary Tuscan interior. Perfect for couples or families and friends, the semi-detached property and separate cottage are set in a landscape which is lined with vineyards and olive trees, enjoying 360 degree views.
Il Corno’s ground floor living area features a cosy alcove fireplace, kitchenette with dining space for four, a double bedroom, bathroom and access out to the garden. Here the fenced pool area projects out to the vineyard tapestry beyond, made for soaking up the Italian sun. The airy covered loggia provides the perfect sociable space for relaxed dining alfresco. Upstairs, you will find the main dining area and kitchen with access to the master bedroom, a bathroom, plus a double/twin bedroom. Stairs then lead up to the old watch tower where you will find a single bed for the solo sleeper.
The separate cottage has two twin/double bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor. The ground floor has a kitchen/dining area which opens onto the external dining terrace. This enchanting place to dine is submersed in resplendent countryside.
Il Corno is a semi detached villa, next door is occupied by local residents. II Corno's gardens and pool are private to the villa.
From Il Corno’s gardens you will have the view of one of the region’s jewels and best-preserved towns, Radda in Chianti. Where Chianti wine was conceived over 300 years ago by the Medici family, Radda invites you to experience its charm and character in narrow hilly streets with irresistible local produce and welcoming local people."
