About this house rental
Beautifully updated, 4 bed, 1.5 bath house in a quiet, convenient west Wichita Neighborhood. (All on One Level!!). With Mid Century Modern and Boho Decor, this comfy house will feel like home! Minutes from the airport, the Sedgwick County Zoo, Sedgwick County Park and many great shops and restaurants, this house offers great convenience.
Mid Century Dreamer is a remodeled 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath home with a fully fenced back yard and large driveway with a car port.
From the front door, you can see the large living room picture windows and funky dining room light.
To the left as you walk in the door, the fully updated kitchen offers brand new stainless steel appliances. Cooking basics, dinnerware, silverware, cups and small appliances (blender, toaster, crock pot) are also provided. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a Keurig coffeemaker stocked with several different varieties of coffees, tea and other specialty drinks. Planning to stay awhile and do a lot of cooking? There is plenty of storage in the floor to ceiling pantry cabinet. The laundry room (with high capacity stacked washer and dryer)/ half bath is located just off the kitchen.
From the kitchen, you can see the fun and funky dining room with seating for 6. Bar stools are also provided for additional seating around the kitchen island if needed. The living room boasts a large fireplace (non-functional) with a 58" Smart TV and comfy seating, including a genuine leather couch.
From the living room, the barn door opens into the bonus room that can offer several different functions, including bedroom, play room or office. With a day bed with trundle and room for an air mattress, this room can sleep up to 4 people. The kids won't be able to resist the small kitchen and toys. Need a place to work? There's also a great workspace.
The bedrooms are located down the hall to the right. Two of the bedrooms have king size memory foam beds and Smart TVs. The third bedroom has a comfortable queen size memory foam bed. The bathroom has been newly remodeled bathroom with tub/shower combo and double vanity.

We stayed here while moving our son to Wichita. The house was very clean, well stocked, and in a very safe and convenient location. Communication with the owner was quick and they had a very reasonable check out list.We would definately stay here again!

This was such a stress less arrival and dismissal! Everything was super easy!!! The house is so cute and lots of effort by owner to decorate it and make it feel like home!! The bed was so nice and spacious!!! Enjoyed the big window in the living room and the remodeled bathroom was so nice for me to get ready for our wedding day!!! Absolutely beautiful home and in a very convenient location!! Peaceful and quiet neighborhood!!! Absolutely loved it!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very clean. Lots of room to spread out. Comfy beds. Kitchen was stocked with paper towels, garbage bags, spices, dish soap, laundry detergent and a lot more. We stayed two nights. House was warm and comfy. It snowed a couple inches while we were in Wichita and the car port attached to the house was perfect to park our car under. Very quiet neighborhood. Would stay again.

This house was exactly as advertised, and the perfect spot for a group! Located conveniently near the airport and only minutes from downtown, we were able to get anywhere we needed within 15 minutes.
The house was clean and accommodated our group of 6 easily.

I was in town for a church conference and to be ordained. The location just off the road not too far into the neighborhood was great. The house was very clean. My favorite part was that it has good cooking supplies.

We were super comfortable! We were in town for a family funeral, and coming from both TX and CO. Lots of family came to visit us while there and were so impressed with the comfort of this property.
We have a family reunion in June 2024 and hope to be able to rent this property again!!

Mid Century Dreamer was the perfect place for our sister get away weekend. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to the sights of Wichita. Our host was in contact with us each day to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything.

When our first grandbaby was going to Kansas for Christmas, we had to follow. This house allowed us to have a family Christmas in a home away from home. The house was very much as the description and photos. There were a couple of needs that we had during our stay, and it was accommodated soon after a quick email request. We would definitely stay here again.

My very close friends & I wanted to get away for the night to spend some much needed girls time. We are all wives and mothers. The place was phenomenal, it had a bed for each one of us to sleep comfortably. I had the room with a King sized bed and the mattress was so comfortable. Everything in the home was beautiful. My friend were impressed as well.

Nice neighborhood. Large well furnished house with room for family and friends to visit. Alex manages the house and coordinated with us several times prior to our arrival and during our visit. We were totally satisfied with the house and plan to stay there again!
