Beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment in a brilliant location for walkers. The rooms are spacious and light. The beds were so comfortable! The bathrooms were both large and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use. Two large sofas meant there was plenty of room for family of four to watch TV in comfort. Lots of plugs and coffee tables. Parking was easy. The whole place felt like home from home.
The bedside lamps gave out only weak light so we couldn’t read in bed

The location was peaceful ,beautiful and not too isolated from shops, restaurants .It was exactly what I'd hoped for my birthday getaway with my friends.
The hosts Hannah and Max were very responsive to all requests. It was lovely to arrive to have some milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine too.
The kitchen was well equipped and the information booklet helped very much with finding good locations to eat and places to visit.
A very small request, the key to have a small keyring as I was afraid of loosing it.

The location was amazing, you had lots of walks straight from the door.
A 2nd key would have been useful. We didn't ask about that though.

The flat had everything we needed as a family of three - lots of space, good cooking equipment and the ability to wash and dry clothes.. Super location to go for walks straight from the mill or a short drive away.. Fantastic communication from Max and Hannah.
This is a personal thing, but for us, the mattresses were too hard. If we had stayed longer than a few days, it might have been an issue, but for a short stay it was fine.

Superb location close to great walks in the Peak District and charming local towns such as Tideswell. The property was an apartment in a charming conversion of an old mill which managed to retain much of the character whilst providing very comfortable and modern amenities.
Only gripe was to do with key collection. We arrived in the dark, managed to get into the main mill building but were very surprised to find that the key lock box was not at the entrance to the apartment itself. As there was no mobile phone signal, we were unable to phone for advice. Eventually after an hour of frustrating (and chilly!) searching, a neighbour informed us that the key boxes were located on one of the gate pillars at the entrance to the complex, some 100 yards or so from the mill entrance itself. I guess the logic is that the key may be used also to unlock the gates, though in the whole time we were there, the gates were never locked, and I suspect they very seldom are, if at all. In fairness, we eventually found that one of the communications about the property contained a link to a PDF with clear directions to the key box, but there was no such link in the communication which provided the entry codes for both the mill building and the apartment key box, which we therefore assumed would suffice. Suggestion: either make clear reference to the key box location in ALL communications, or shift the box to outside the apartment itself. Frustrating as this impediment was, it did not spoil the later enjoyment of what is a lovely apartment.

Great apartment, very comfortable and welcoming extras; milk and tea :)
Very spacious. Open plan space which was great for watching my little ones while cooking etc.
Only lost a star because dishwasher broke - but that was just unfortunate!

Wonderful, peaceful location.
Fab comfy beds, great pillows and bedding (often the things that let holiday homes down)
Tiny things really..
No shaver point for shaver.
Mirrors better placed nearer sockets for hair drying etc.

Location was excellent to get almost anywhere in the peak District, without being too touristy, and whilst it was close to a main road you could only here the water from the river that ran by the mill. Lovely apartment, kitchen well equipped for most things you'd need. Pillows were so soft!
Only thing I can say is it was a bit difficult to dry clothes - there's a washing machine but no dryer, and when you're out you don't necessarily want to leave windows open. Heating and clothes airer did a good job though.

Large airy bedrooms, comfortable beds, well fitted kitchen and lounge areas. TV with Netflix & music channels was added bonus. Great location to walks and places to visit in the Peak District. Useful guide for visitors.

Litton Mill had everything needed for a relaxing family holiday. The building is something a bit 'different' in a good way being an old converted factory. The apartment itself is fitted out to a very high standard with two decent sized bedrooms and large open plan lounge / kitchen. More than enough space for a family of four. We loved the high ceilings. There is no phone signal but the wifi is good and we could get netflix on the TV. The mill is at the end of a mile long road with very easy access to the Monsal Trail and Monsal Head as well as other walks. The Anglers Rest is a good traditional pub and well worth a visit. We contacted Max and Hannah a couple of times before we arrived and they were very quick in responding.
Nothing.

The apartment was beautiful situated in a picturesque peaceful location. Lots of nice walks from the apartment and the local pub at the end of road - Anglers Rest, is very cosy and does great food. It was our first time in the Peak District and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was great and the apartment was very spacious and finished to a high standard
The communal areas could do with decorating/updating but that’s nothing to do with the apartment itself

WiFi and phone connection was not very strong, as its in a valley I think.

Fantastic location. The entrance to the building has impressive enormous hall way before reaching the lift. Plenty of parking spaces both in the private ground and in underground . It is easy to park the car underground to unload our luggages. The high ceiling inside the building imparts the spaciousness of the rooms.
Nothing.
