Oh my gosh… where do I begin?!
The staff are INCREDIBLE! The location is beyond perfect, and the dorms are absolutely adorable.
I never had to worry about my belongings (each bunk has a lockbox), I met tons of incredible people and the local restaurants, and shops are to die for.
It’s also a 12 second walk away from a gorgeous, massive beach!
Absolutely nothing. It’s perfect.

The staff were great! So helpful. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was very social.
There was no privacy in our dorm as the main door was next to the reception but there were curtains so not too bad but noisy at times

Lo staff é stato incredibile! Grazie Vale, Beto, Ely !
Consigliatissimo!
Gracias Nenos eso fue increíble!! 🌹
Assolutamente niente.

A lovely calm relaxed space. Bed was comfy with a privacy curtain. Aircon between 9pm and 9am. Lovely common and kitchen area. Owner is lovely and friendly with recommendations around and the cutest dog. Theres a small dipping pool on the roof with great views

Nice bedroom space, great kitchen and living area, AC during the night time, staff was very friendly and responsive and helped me booked snorkelling tours.
Would be nice to enjoy the terrace a little longer in the evenings since it's a bit hot during the day and it closes at 9pm and also to be able to enjoy a drink up there!

lovely location, friendly, and nice rooftop pool
the bathroom was not great but did the job

Small, cozy hostel, very friendly staff. There is a curtain and socket with every dorm bed. Nice common area and great rooftop.
Everything seems a bit outdated, sheets weren't the cleanest ones. There are a lot of rules and the hostel seems to be charging for a lot of things (water refill, using the facilities after checkout...). The dorms are connected to each other so if you're staying in the first one you'll have people going through it to get to the second one. The camera in the dorm is an absolute No-go!

It is the filthiest place I have ever stayed.Stuff on on the walls, showerjust dispicable. 10 people crammed into barely the size of 2 modest normal bedrooms. You have to go thru the 2 bunk bed bedroom to get to the toilet as well as get to the 3 bunk bed room. broken down storage, supply room in the tiny 3 bunk room. The teeny, tiny common area, at the foot of the reception area is suppose to accommodate the 10 unlucky guests that were fool enough to think it is some sort of deal have to cram into an area you may very well be touching each other when all guests are in it. I was afraid to sit on anything or make contact with anything. The place has never been deep cleaned ever I bet. No dusting, or caring for what few plants have managed to stay alive. No effort to put filthy mops away, they just live near the refrigerator that may be home to who knows what kind of life forms. The staff have lifted lazy up to an art form. Ownership can sleep at nite I guess knowing they are the leader in SlumLordness and have created a new category of neglect and don’t give a sh.. performance.
I have been in some pretty questionable 3rd world places and never have been this ashamed of the owner’s. This truly is a 4th world pit of despair, filth and neglect. They should be ashamed…. f…

very deceiving and nothing like photos don’t go.
the photos are misrepresenting this hostel is run down and smelly, the whole e place is a disappointment. the mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the net of the patio door is broken so mosquitoes come in if door left open, so, very hot, the balcony has a view on parking and very noisy, the toilet/shower smell of sewage and not clean I didn’t like to go in there. much smaller than it appears on photos, I really don’t recommend.

most of the guests are very unfriendly and cliquish, and more fixated on their smartphones than on real people

The establishment was very well situated and Valeria and Salomé, at the reception were very helpfull and very very sweet.

Close to everything, comfy bed, nice shared amenities.
It is expensive for what it is, we got a private room, during our trip we had better taken care and with more facilities for less price. I guess you pay for the location?
Not much parking around, steep and narrow stairs (our mistake, we had sporting luggage with us).

central Location, big lockers for luggage and small lockers for valuables available
bathrooms were very smelly and not clean

Rooftop terrace, with pool, evening yoga, chill vibe, great mellow guests, sweet common area with well equipped kitchen overlooking the ocean, rooms with balconies overlooking the mangrove forests, right downtown. Really lovely vibe, great views
Most importantly the hardline zero tolerance "no alcohol" policy is positively draconian. You've already put out the vibe that it is not a party hostel in so many other ways. I'm 55 years old and I can't be trusted to have a quiet glass of wine on the balcony of my room while watching the sunset?

The staff was friendly and answered my questions. Thank you for speaking English as my Spanish is not that good.
The facility was lovely, nice murals on the common area wall. Breezy and comfortable.
Close walking distance to the square.
Thanks for having hot water!
Put a fan in the bunk room for air circulation. While the AC temp was cool, there was no air flow.
Why does the rooftop area get locked so early (9 pm)?
4 flights of stairs made it a challenge for my bad knee.
The outside construction? noise kept waking me... nothing the hostel can do about it.

very central

no elevator

Good location just off the main square. Beach and many restaurants and shops nearby. We could just see the sea from our room's balcony.
Doors didn't fit or close properly, so people had to bang them, which was disturbing at night. There were also loud water pipe noises throughout the night. Staff were quite helpful but could have been a little more friendly. No TV.
