Quiet and glamorous

Location, Room was amazing. The kangaroos really make it feel like another place.

The only complaint was the sound on the tele when we watched a movie.

Feel the serenity

A very peaceful stay with the most beautiful surroundings. You couldn't ask for more. The hosts thought of everything, and the breakfast and snacks were wonderful. Kangaroos and sunsets at night and serenity in the morning. A gorgeous place.

Memorable and lovely place to unwind just outside the city.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this property is the ideal location. It is quiet and perfectly secluded but not too far away from the towns nearby for food. We had a quiet NYE celebration in the unit. Loved the hundreds of kangaroos greeting (or staring) us in the evening, just outside the glass door of the unit.

If you like a touch of luxury with complete privacy and you want to access great scenery, go for it.

Excellent ingredients were provided so that we could make our own breakfast, using the excellent range of cooking equipment provided. I particularly liked the the set up whereby there was a very comfortable private lobby area which was available to guests, in addition to the very well- appointed bedrooms. The extensive views looking on to the very large property, with a large mob of kangaroos arriving right outside the window every night, was a real bonus. Absolutely every piece of equipment that you could possibly need, was provided.

It was hard to identify anything I didn’t like! I like a flatter pillow and if I had one suggestion to make, it would be to provide two different pillows to appeal to all comers.

Our stay was excellent, everything we hoped for and more and would have happily stayed longer.

The location was excellent with outstanding views, very peaceful and we loved the local wildlife. The facilities in the suite and lobby area were excellent and gave you everything you needed for your stay. The items provided for breakfast were more than any other accomodation provides.

The long gravel drive as we do not have an SUV, parts were rutted and you had to be wary of fallen tree branches.

A great place to relax. with terrific views of Hanging Rock, with lots of kangaroos.

Location is excellent. Breakfast was ample with good variety.

The pillows were too high for both of us, which made it difficult to enjoy a good night's sleep.

The View. The Roos. What a lovely mini getaway!!

The Roos!! And the view from the room is amazing - both mornings we wake up to an open plain dotted with numerous Kangaroos grazing. On a clear day, I bet we can see all the way to the Hanging Rock as we could see the property as we hiked up to the summit. The room is modern, clean and cosy. The shared area of the kitchen and living area is comfortable and warm. The property is huge and you can take a stroll to the cascades at the back, or also do a 2km hike, or just say hi to the Roos. Too bad we couldn't make time to enjoy the open fire and cook a meal with the huge BBQ at the communal Gazebo. It's just perfect for a mini get away from the city. (We've got an upgrade and were staying at the King Suite)

Perfect get away

Had a fantastic stay at hanging rock views! We were welcomed by kangaroos that stay just near by the suites and appreciated a gorgeous sunset. the suite is clean and equipped with everything to prep meals. Awesome spa room with a bath to relax after exploring around. The views are breathtaking! The price for value is amazing. Highly recommend

The bathroom has double showers but one would not get hot while the other was on. nothing that majorly impacted our stay.

Sublime

The property itself is exceptional. The views and tranquility are superb. As a photographer, I felt spoilt by the location along with the 300 odd Kangaroos who seemed so peaceful in my presence. The accommodation is exceptional- living up to all expectations plus more. The hosts have thought of everything- the attention to detail is greatly appreciated. The bed is immensely comfortable and the electric blankets make it very cosy. The kitchen works beautifully for a small space and all things one reaches for are there. Apart from the above, what I really appreciated was the cleanliness and hospitality. Since Covid lockdowns, I’ve spent much of my budget for international trips on regional ones and this particular place is absolutely wonderful. You won’t regret staying here, it’s perfect :)

Watching the kangaroos and the scenery

We booked for 4 nights, breakfast provisions were supplied for one night. We had to ask for more, plus there wasn't any facilities in the room to cook breakfast you had to go either into the communal kitchen or cook outside on a BBQ.

Quiet getaway amongst the kangaroos and accom has everything you need

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms, good facilities Amenities and breakfast was provided. Great location, close to town but felt quiet and secluded. Kangaroos surrounded the property. Would stay there again!

A beautiful and comfortable property and we hope to come again.

Beautiful scenic location with view of Hanging Rock and lots of kangaroos. Clean, attractive and well appointed room with plenty of storage space and good kitchenette with generous breakfast provisions. There is an outdoor bbq area and a communal lounge supplied with books, games, and extra fruit, biscuits and more.

Hard to fault this property. Perhaps sound proofing could be better but our neighbours were generally quiet.

The best weekend stay!

The property is conveniently located an hour out of Melbourne CBD. We were provided with clear instructions making it easy to get there. The cottage was perfect for the two of us with a beautiful view. Our host provided us with several thoughtful amenities that made our stay enjoyable.

Excellent room, far better than I expected. Breakfast items provided. Great surroundings. Easy to find and access with plenty of parking. Close to town and restaurants. Communication with booking, also excellent.

Luxury and stunning views while cosied up with a delicious local wine

The ambiance and comfort was perfect for a little commune with nature and relaxation. I loved jogging up and down the driveway...that crunchy under my running shoes...and getting a little close and personal with the animals. Will be back. Highly recommended.

Didn't see herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically..... Probably would not go in winter as like a good open fireplace
