About this house rental

Located on the desirable Midland Rd on the ''Boulevard'' entrance to Pinehurst. Set back on deep lot with turn-around driveway and ample parking. Newly renovated home throughout including kitchen, baths, addition of outdoor fireplace and conversion to salt water pool. The kitchen is open to Carolina room with walls of glass overlooking pool. A covered porch with fireplace at far end is perfect for relaxing after a long day of golf!. Spacious living room and separate dining room, Master on first floor with handsome office on opposite side of home. Lovely grounds and very private! Easy stroll to the center of the Village, Village restaurants and activities. Across the street from the famed Pinehurst No 2 Golf Course, home of the 1999, 2004, 2014 and soon to be 2024 U.S. Open. Standard drip coffee maker in home. Please no more than 4 cars at vacation home.

$75/day to heat the pool. Pool heater will only be turned on May-September.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The front door lock instructions were incorrect. Spent first night thinking the door was unlocked all night. Upstairs A/C took six hours to cool to 72 degrees. Otherwise, good stay.

This property could be nice but I cannot recommend due to the Rental company that manages it. When we arrived, the outside area was very dirty, including the pool itself. There was a discarded cigar, dirty whisky glass on the patio, an empty soda bottle in the hot tub, green mold on brick area. A young man did come out to the house a couple of hours after we called & had already cleaned the area and the pool. The trash bins on the side of the house were already full. Friday night - we had no hot water. The propane tank had been left on from the previous tenant. We were told that they could not have any propane delivered as it was a holiday weekend. We had to boil water to wash dishes. They did offer options to go to another house for showers or a refund if we found another house, but it was Memorial weekend & we could not find another house and did not have time to move as we already had plans for the area we were in. We did go down the street for showers, but we could not stay at that house as we had a disabled person with us, and they could not manage the stairs and all of the bedrooms were upstairs. We also rented 175 Midland for amenities (pool, hot tub, and fireplace) and the house that was offered had none of these amenities. Then I was charged $375.00 for heating the pool when they already knew that it could not be heated as the propane was empty. To wrap it up - it took 24 days to receive the security deposit back after numerous contact attempts.

We had a great stay and love the property. This was our second year in a row staying at the house. Wives loved the location for easy access to the Pinehurst Spa and the husbands loved the proximity to the golf courses played. We all loved the house!!

Perfect property for a group of boys down for a pinehurst golf weekend. Clean, comfortable, nice pool. Hot tub didn’t work which would’ve been nice for us old guys.

Door broken in front and smashed my foot when handle fell off. Hot tub water super low. Upstairs TV wouldn’t work. Need TV in queen room. Room with Day bed should not be counted as a room. For the price and Fees not impressed.

This place was so big, we didn't even venture into every room. Gorgeous master bath. The pool is deep on one side, so that may steer you toward or away from certain pool games. The hot tub is in good condition and even has a "clean" mode. Well-stocked kitchen with spacious and new fridge. The extra sheets/blankets were easy to find in the same room as the trundle. The two box fans came in handy to isolate people who did not have the same bedtimes.

My husband and I celebrated a milestone birthday at Pinehurst. Our home was lovely and spacious, and the backyard covered patio and pool were beautiful. We had two issues with this property. First, when we arrived, I inspected the home inside and outside. I checked the hot tub and found it to be quite dirty. I contacted the rental agency and they had someone clean it 2 days later. Our second issue was the main floor AC unit didn’t work at all. The agency called a repair man but they couldn’t replace the unit right away, so they brought in box fans to circulate the air. This helped somewhat, but the house was very warm during our stay. Needless to say, we spent a good deal of time in the pool! Overall, our vacation was great, the weather was perfect and the agency did all they could to make us comfortable.

We were in town for the Tyson and Jones Buggy Festival in Carthage. This was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and the amenities that came along with the property were amazing. After a long, hot, and exhausting Saturday, we came back and enjoyed the pool. Everything is close by and easy to get some food. Marcus was a great Host and we will stay again at one of his properties.

A perfect place for 5 friends to get away for a spa weekend. Very clean, quiet and plenty of room, and everything we needed for cooking. Although it’s on a Main Street, it sets back far enough that there’s no road noise.

This may seem exaggerated but this was the best-ever Thanksgiving for my family of 8. Making it so was the size of the beautiful house, its location, and the fully appointed kitchen accouterments. Family members strolled the beautifully Xmas decked out village & Carolina Hotel. Many played golf & golf frisbee close by. There was ample room for everyone. We all agreed it was the best/most memorable Thanksgiving holiday ever and this was the perfect house for it!! It was wonderful...5 stars Thank you so much!! The fortunate grandparents

Lovely place. As and adult with adult chuldren this was a great gathering of our family members of different generations. Where each had own space but a variety of communual gathering aras for multiple conversations as well as great porch and rooms for all to come together. Perfect for us! Definately remind me of UK and southern old style with rooms of rooms and the southern architecture and styling. We seiously just enoyed hanging out and enjoy fliating and just relaxing talking and talking. Fantastic just for a good olde long weekend coming together in a calm charming house. I have to say evwn though we've huge hottub at home tge jet feature in the laying seat on this one awesome and barely mentioned in ad. Everything is verying interesting combo of decor! Ive done many rental across world, especially in English Country homes this is unique of old era meets new NC.

This was a wonderful property and we will certainly be back. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen, incredibly comfortable. The owners have decorated meticulously and everything is perfect. This is one of the very few places where the pictures don't do the property justice instead of the pictures being better than the property. We were very happy and comfortable here.
