What a fun experience! Great for a few days. The huts were cosy but with a nice big sleeping area. The self check in process was simple. Fully stocked kitchen to help yourself and pay at the end. Johana was incredibly helpful, laundry was done very quickly and she booked a car to the airport for us.
Only issue was the nearby rooster noise (not the fault of the Cocohuts), our first night it started very early in the morning and kept going.

Great communication, fab facilities and bed was so so comfortable ❤️❤️❤️ about ten mins in a Grab to An Bang beach
5.0 / 10.0
The staff was remote, but they were really responsive on WhatsApp and tried their best to accommodate all my requests. The bed was really comfy. The AC was like new and really customizable. There was a communal kitchen place with free drinking water and some cutlery. Lots of nice vegetation.
The noise was the biggest issue. There is an open area with chickens right next to the hostel, and the roosters start singing loudly around 3:30am, and continue until ~6am. Also, the bungalows are actually really close to each other, and you can hear when the other people around speak or move.
The second big issue is that I found and killed a bedbug, in the middle of the night. I don't know if there were more - the mattress and sheets were clean, but the floor downstairs is made of wood boards that have a lot of space between them, so any bug can crawl in. That one bedbug stressed me until the morning, especially as I had all my stuff opened downstairs.
Finally, I felt a little cheated by the pictures and reviews: the bungalows are novel and comfy on the inside, but the place is extremely small, wedged between two streets, and the facilities are a bit aged. There's 5 bungalows and they are all next to each other. The pool looks good in the pictures, but in reality the water is a little cloudy.

Fajny klimat miejsca. Bardzo kameralnie. Można wypożyczyć rowery i skutery.

The bungalow is super nice and comfortable
It is very noisy which we did not expect since the place is not close to town

Clean. Comfortable bed. Easy to connect with the staff. A fun way to stay.
Didn’t serve breakfast, even though they advertised it (gave me a great option however). It’s more of a airbnb-experience. Even though it’s clean, it’s a bit more worn than the pictures show.

We loved the quirky huts and relaxed management. Definitely a wonderful experience and one that will be a lasting memory for all the best reasons. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough to make our stay joyful.

Absolutely everything! The Cocohut was one of the coolest places I stayed when travelling Vietnam. I loved the independence of the check-in and out. The host was an absolute gem and recommended an island day tour which absolutely made my trip to Hoi An. Everyone was so hospitable.
Nothing at all.

The location is very good for the beach and the staff is amazing
The place is very small and the price is a little high for what you can get.

Lily our host was so kind and accomodating.
The accomodation is so close to the beach.
It got rather warm on the ground level as there was only a fan and the aircon was upstairs.

Cosy little jungle hut, great value for money, we were so well looked after by Lily, Reina and a nice young man (sorry forgot your name) who served us a tasty breakfast with beautiful coffee every morning, bed was so comfy we didn’t want to leave it in the mornings, free bicycles were great for visiting beautiful Hoi An old town and a great beach five minutes walk
For the price I can’t complain but can be a little noisy during night from cockerel chorus

The location is good especially when you’re gonna travel to Cham island the next day. John, the owner speaks English really well, he’s also helpful and understanding. I love the landscape. It’s so beautiful. It’s very artsy and I also love the details. It’s like a small paradise inside the homestay. I love that the mattress is big and comfy. I also love the coconut trees and the green scenery. I love the cocohuts. I love the breakfast, granola and fruits and tea. I also love the flowering plant by the gate. I love the architecture and interior design. Whoever is the architect and interior designer of the place, i am impressed of how lovely the place is. I also love the welcoming sign in red that says “No butt sucking”
The swimming pool isn’t swimmable because it’s not clean.
The light downstairs is a bit dim; need more light.
The shower room is small. They could’ve balanced the space, the living room area is too big, they could’ve used a bit more space from the living room area for the bathroom.
The room is wide but the height from the mattress to the ceiling is for minions. I’m already short, I’m 4’11 and I can’t stand. I can only crawl and sleep on my bed.
I don’t like that there are no rules. I woke up at 2am coz some girls and boys were talking loudly. This is not a party hostel and I don’t stay in party hostels because I love my sleep. When im traveling im always out all day and I sleep all night. I know in party hostels they party all night and they sleep all day but this Cocohut homestay isn’t a party hostel but last night it is what I felt, I felt like I stayed in a party hostel. Most hostels I stayed in, have rules because some people don’t know boundaries or respect or perhaps were not taught these values by their parents. It was so noisy that I woke up twice. I think it’s ok to be noisy from 10am until 10pm, you can shout and talk loudly and be rowdy in the hostel but 10pm onwards, people need to rest. The hostel isn’t a private place where you do whatever you want whenever you want. I really don’t like it that at 2am it was very noisy. I understand they do this because there are no rules. So of course they do whatever they want with no regards of other people. If others have a ferry to catch early in the morning or no it’s coz they’ll stay sleeping until 11am the next day. It’s a hostel not their home with people staying there who have different schedules. I think it was rude for those girls and boys to be talking loudly at 2am. I say girls and boys because I think they are probably teenagers on their summer break, coz I am 100 percent sure a normal educated well-bred adult won’t do this.

Its a cozy hut, comfy and large bed. The host is very friendly and accommodating, allows me check in early. Breakfast is very delicious and generous. You should have a motorcycle to go around as its a bit far from Old town but close to Cua Dai beach.

Cocuhut homestay is the most cozy and beautiful place we have ever been to. Billy and Lily are so kind and helpfull and makes the best breakfast you can find in Vietnam! The homestay is located a few kilometers from Hoi An, but with a bike or a scooter, its so easy to get around and see the small villages outside Hoi An. You will be surrounded by beautiful beaches and hospitable people! It was definitely our favourite place to be in Vietnam.

Cocohut was awesome! Very unique and beautiful place to stay, loved it here. Close to the beach which was very quiet and pretty, swimming pool was nice too. There is a communal kitchen for breakfast and beers etc. Easy bike to the beach and grab or scooter to the old town

Great Homestay! Reina and Lily are very helpful and very kind!
The location is great and the Cua Dai beach is less busy, no one in the afternoon till 4pm, better than An Bang beach, and you can walk there from the Homestay!
Nothing :-)

Location is quite close to the beach. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. They organized our trips to My Son and Ba Na Hills, as well as pick up and drop off at the airport. Huts are quite unique to experience. The bed is really comfortable. We enjoyed it a lot!
It gets quite noisy in the morning and could be bothering if you are light sleeper.

What friendly hosts we encountered at this beautiful homestay! Both the owner and his teams went above and beyond to give us the best experience in Hoi An - from recommending great restaurants; beautiful coffee to the best massage place we ever had! They were the friendliest people we encountered on our trip and would recommend this homestay !! Room was comfortable and close to the beach. They also rent us their bikes for free which is very cool to go around the fishing village areas. Would love the experience here.

This is how one homestay should be, very honest, friendly and welcoming. The owner has designed the house by hímelf and has put a lot of effort into choosing solutions that makes the stay pleasant: the aircondition is silent and the beds are comfortable, just to mention some.
The whole staffs are carin so much for their guests! We got plenty of good recommendations for things to do and the places to eat that were spot on: local, cheap and delicious. They put in the extra effort to make sure that you get a good price and a good experience whatever you would wish for. The breakfast was also very good and they have WIFI in the rooms and reception.
Thanks a lot for a memorable stay."

The property is really quirky and well-managed. Everything for a comfortable stay is included. The host, John and Ray were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to help us.
It can be a bit noisy from the nearby poultry but it didn’t bother us too much. It added to the charm of the place.

Just an amazing owner, a very nice person. He greeted us immediately after a long drive with delicious bananas and great herbal tea
Very original and cute house.
Chic huge mattress on the second floor, lots of comfortable pillows
Convenient location of sockets
Modern air conditioning on the 2nd floor, on the 1st floor there is a fan
There is a hairdryer and everything for the shower (fragrant shampoo, liquid hand soap, gel)
Delicious breakfast (yoghurt with granola was so yummy )
We were allowed to check out an hour late due to inconvenience in the morning, which was nice :)
We were a little unlucky..the roosters made it very difficult to sleep during the night, and then the neighboring hotel turned on aerobics music from 6 am on Sunday :D
The watering can was leaking in a strange way, and the water pressure is also quite small, if you take a shower exactly under hot water

The host is very enthusiastic, his house is extremely impressive with its unique design, spacious and soft bed. Everything is neatly prepared and clean. Everything you see here is from nature. John is a great host, he suggests all the best services. I asked him to order 2 suits here with very good quality and cheap price, Thank you for helping me have a fun and memorable trip.

John was easily the most accommodating host I have stayed with! He let us check in early, held our bags after we checked out, helped us book tours, gave recommendations for our trip, and truly seemed to care about us as guests :) The Coco Huts are so cute and also eco friendly! Easy to turn off power while you're away. And the upper level is a big comfy mattress with an AC unit so you stay nice and cool at night :) John also provides bikes to use and the location is quite close to the beach and Cham Islands Ferry! Ooh and the breakfast was great! Plenty of options as well as tea, coffee, and fruit!
A few things to note: it can be loud at night with karaoke from the neighbors, so just be aware there may be music playing. We also woke up early with the roosters most mornings (though we were able to sleep again easily). The shower could've been hotter/stronger pressure if that's important to you. Lastly, it is a little ways outside of Hoi An. We biked into town one day - definitely doable but a bit of a venture (30 minutes), so keep that in mind if you're planning a lot of activities from town. You can also call a Grab for ~4USD (15-20 minutes).

We liked everything, but if I have to highlight something it would be how cozy the rooms are, when you enter and see them you want to stay there all the time. We liked them a lot.

I have great time stay at Cocohut Hoi An, the place is not too far from the Old town, and even better very close to the Ocean. Me and my friend did swim on the beach close to the Homestay.
Cocohut is very nice, chill and very comfortable stay. I feel something very local, and cultural here.
The nightborhood is very friendly and safe place.
I would highly recommend to anyone to have chance to visit Hoi An

The power bowl of yogurt and granola was so good my wife got it every day. The local my quan noodles were restaurant quality.
Wifi didn’t work in the rooms but this had the positive effect of making the experience feel like camping a bit — away from technology each night.

Lodging was unique, huge focus on sustainability and the staff was fantastic (shout-out to John)!
