The location is absolutely fantastic, 2 minute walk to the beach.
There's restaurants, bars and a supermarket on the main road which again is very close and easily accessed.
The port is about a 10 minute stroll to the left and to the right you'll find the other main strip about which is 15-20 minutes away. You can reach both along the beach path.
It has 4 good sized bedrooms, large living space and kitchen.
Outside area is big with sun loungers, bbq area and dining table with chairs.
There's a decent sized pool which is the main reason we booked. Its a suitable size and depth for adults and children.
Air con only worked in 1 bedroom so the rest of the villa was constantly hot. There's no air con in the living room either so it was like an oven and totally unbearable
.
The electricity was constantly tripping and we had to reset it ourselves, the owner clearly knew this was an issue as on the welcome sheet it tells you where to find the fuse box. There were also 2 metal prongs sticking out of the box which didn't look safe at all!! The electric had tripped while we were all asleep on our 2nd night and as a result both fridges went off resulting in us losing €150 worth of food which we then had to replace and weren't offered any compensation for.
The villa was full of mosquitos, some of which where left squished on the bedroom walls on our arrival and hadn't been cleaned. They had been coming in through the glass vented windows in the kitchen and green bathroom that didn't close properly leaving gaps for them and other insects to get inside. Our whole family was biten and as a result I had to visit the Emergency doctor and have an injection costing €180 plus €22 for antibiotics and cream for the bites as there were so many ( I'd had an allergic reaction and infection) The rest of the family including the children were covered in bites which combined with no air con was absolutely awful to deal with !!
The pool which was the main reason we booked this villa was a complete let down. The first day was fine however that was the only day we used it during our whole 8 day stay.
It became absolutely filthy with debris from the over hanging trees, we tried to scoop it out with the net but they were sinking to the bottom aswell. More and more fall in every hour and it was completely unmanageable to keep clean. Along with the leaves came all sorts of bugs and the mosquitos pretty much took over as it was going stagnant. The pool basically resembled a dirty pond.

location is very close to beach and shops, fantastic location.
the property is very old and in need of repairs, the kitchen worktop and bathroom worktops are cracked. the mattresses are very uncomfortable. the surrounding garden area is massive.

The size and location.perfect for a family get away. 2 minute walk to the beach or plenty of room to lounge about in villa.
The keys could be colour coded with the doors as there are alot of them.

The villa was exactly as pictured in the booking photographs. The rooms were spacious with plenty of seating. The location was brilliant, the access to the beach was literally outside the front gate, along with a promenade which was a short walk to the Port and shops.
The pool was the main reason that we chose this villa. unfortunately, it was a total let-down, as the water was stagnating due to the fact that there was no apparent water pump and no instructions. It did say that there was a pool engineer to visit weekly but it looked like no-one had attended it for weeks and was full of the debris which had fallen from the overhanging trees. There were about a dozen keys on the ring but no indication as to which key fitted in which lock. All the doors were bolted from the inside and we ended up calling the maintenance out only to find that the main entrance door was behind one of the shutters. There were no kitchen basics or condiments, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid or tea, coffee, sugar. Even had to buy coals for the BBQ. Having to go and buy these items was wasteful, as they will just go in the bin, although I gave mine to one of the neighbours. The bathrooms were very old and needed replacing.

The location is perfect - the beach is just a minute away and there's a large supermarket just around the corner. The pool was lovely, which was sunny for most of the day and comfortable sun loungers. It was really spacious - there were 6 of us staying, with our parents visiting for meals occasionally - and there was plenty of room. A short walk to the port with all of the lovely bars and restaurants.

On the third day of our stay, the villa was robbed and our cash was stolen. The house had no security, the lock on the patio door was not working (which we didn't know) and the thief got in without any problems. The staff did not feel responsible even though it was their duty to ensure the safety of the guests. Contact with the staff was cut off when I asked for compensation.

Facilities were spacious (5 adults and one baby in Villa for 8), comfortable, with plenty of bedding, towels etc. The kitchen equipment, crockery etc gave us everything we could possibly have needed. Outdoor space, sun-beds, barbecue and pool etc were perfect. In short, the villa was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
