Home was great. Spacious rooms and very comfortable. Neighborhood was filled with restaurants, ice cream shops, and a wine bar. Extremely safe with a walkable area. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Seven of us enjoyed the house, the location, the room to gather in. There were two minor problems, and the management had someone there to take care of them within an hour of when we reported them. We’d choose it again.

We had a wonderful Family getting together over a long weekend. The house is spacious and well located. Bowood, a fabulous restaurant, is only a short walk away.
Making arrangements with the host was easy and uncomplicated. Definitely will be back.

This home is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. The management team was responsive and helpful from the moment we reserved our trip right through the day we checked out. Looking forward to our next stay in the Central West End.

We had eight ladies from my family in town for a baby shower weekend. This house was in a great location, was spacious, was very well stocked and upgraded, and the three and a half baths helped as everyone was getting ready at the same time. The hosts were extremely responsive to the questions we had , and it contributed to a wonderful, fun family weekend.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you have many in your group. There is a large kitchen, dining table with the seats for 10 or more, five beds in 4 bedrooms, and a garage for two cars. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathrooms are updated. The communication from the management was quick.

The home was very spacious and provided perfect accommodations for our family. The entire home was updated very nicely and the beds were comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to an issue with one of the two showers that was not working which caused us a little anxiety as we all prepped for a wedding in the early afternoon. The shower issue was fixed the same day but it would have been great to have both working while we were all getting ready. The parking was challenging because the street parking was scarce and the two car garage was small and difficult to access from the alley.
The owners allowed us to check in early which was great because I did not review the 5pm check in time at booking and we needed to attend a dinner at 5:30pm. The check out time was 10am which was actually an hour earlier due to daylight savings time. I was surprised when the owner showed up at 10:05 am as we were rushing to load up and check out.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the large home allowed the family to be together in one place for the weekend. The location was good with many restaurants near by and within walking distance. The neighborhood around the home is a little sketchy but we did not have any issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on McPherson while some work was being completed at our home a few miles away. The house was exactly as described with plenty of room for the 2 of us to work and have our own space. This home is in a great location in the Central West End, walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars, as well as some shopping. Communication was excellent for the few questions we had while there. Would definitely recommend to anyone asking.

Comfortable house though a bit drafty. Great location. Would have preferred a shower in the common hallway bathroom. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

I thought it was going to be a bad experience after reading the rules; however, that was not the case. All was fine. The houses are very close in this area so the noice level is a concern. I didn’t want to have to tip toe the whole time. This was not the case. We did karaoke (respectfully) and played games and had a great time. The house was very clean and the beds are fabulous. Stools in the kitchen would be my only small suggestion. If you cook a lot…everyone likes to gather in the kitchen and there’s plenty of space. It was overall a great experience.

We were a group of 5 friends meeting in St Louis for some much needed time together. The unit is just as presented in the photos. All the rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. The quality of the furniture, linens etc were top notch. This unit had all the basics you'd expect in a rental. Two drawbacks: no shower in the large bathroom on the second floor, but we very easily worked around that. Also, our fire alarm went off two nights and was disruptive, however, the local rental agency was very attentive and worked with us in solving the problem. Location was 2 blocks from Euclid, which had may businesses and fun restaurants. A small grocery was within walking distance. I plan to suggest this home to another group of friends for more fun in St Louis.

The location of this property was perfect! Beautiful neighborhood with an awesome little bar, pizzeria and shops within walking distances. Also, about 8 mins from the zoo. The beds and bedding were comfy and clean. The bathrooms were clean. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for everyone to shower.
NOW, for the NOT so good parts and there are several! This property was DIRTY!!! We had to wear our shoes inside the house bc the floors were absolutely filthy, our white socks were black! Hated for my grand babies to even play or sit on the floor. The kitchen had NOT been cleaned! It was so dirty that we had to use cleaner and wipe down all the surfaces. There was coffee that had been spilt and dried and it had run down the cabinet fronts and in the floor. The microwave front, refrigerator, toaster, stove range and counter tops were disgusting! There’s NO POSSIBLE WAY that this place had been cleaned. Also, the steps are so steep. Not ideal for kids, elderly and someone with health conditions.
We have stayed at VRBO properties several times and this is the first time we have stayed in a place that I had to leave a poor review. It’s disappointing to plan a nice trip for your family and walk into a place your not even comfortable in bc of the poor upkeep. The property is in major need of a deep cleaning, some paint and repairs. The fire alarm went off several times while we were there for no reason that we could find. There was a short in the living lighting/ fan, would turn off and on and bling all the time. The breaker tripped when we tried to use the dryer. The stairs in the kitchen that went to the basement were not save for children. It had a crappy little gate that fell when you touched it. We had to put chairs around to block the stairwell to keep the babies from falling down the stairs.
I did contact the property agent as soon as we got to the property about the cleanliness of the property. They did offer to send someone over to “TIDYING UP.” Tidying up was definitely not going to help this place, it needed hours of cleaning and we didn’t want people in the house while we weren’t there PLUS we had already cleaned the kitchen ourselves!! We we definitely glad to only be staying there for 2 nights. If our stay would have been longer we wouldn’t have stayed there without the owners sending people in to do some major cleaning.
It’s a shame this property is so poorly taken care of bc the location is wonderful.

Great location
The location cannot be beat. Is is huge with plenty of of space for our group of 5 adults. Kitchen is large with new appliances. Air conditioner (hot weather this trip) worked well. Easy to get into and out of.
Only isssues were: the floors seemed dirty - definitely do not walk on them with clean socks, the alarm system was flashing (we were told to ignore) and we got a noise complaint that apparently was an error but disturbing none the less.
Over all - excellent place.

We had a great visit to St. Louis with family and very much enjoyed the location of this house. We loved the neighborhood and walked to several restaurants and shops daily. The house was very nice and comfortable. Although the internet was very sketchy and did not work most of the time. The TV was also a problem......the only two things we were interested in while we were there were the NBS Finals game and the Olympic opening night and we spent most of the time trying to get the TV to work...ugh!! Otherwise a good stay in the CWE.

Our family of adults with one baby loved the house and walking in the CWE neighborhood of cute shops , restaurants and bars. House is very recently renovated in “Abode” style, spacious rooms, many king beds, good mattresses, big dining room table, big kitchen with island, deep bath tub. Third floor with crib , big bedroom and its own bath and shower worked well for our married daughter, hubby and 1yr old.
