Get away from it all at this charming, lakefront home away from home! It might look rural from the outside, but the moment you step inside this lovely home, you'll be greeted by nothing but modern touches throughout. The second level of the home is where you'll find the main living space with a well-equipped living room, kitchen, dining area, and deck. The living room offers a comfortable sectional sofa and an armchair near a wall-mounted flatscreen smart TV –the perfect spot for movie nights, trivia/board games nights, or simply an entertaining conversation with your friends. The ceiling fan and central A/C will keep you as comfortable as possible. Right off the living room is the six-person dining table and if you need more dining space, the breakfast bar offers five more spots.
When it comes to meal prep, the kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy everyone's needs with stainless steel appliances, enough counter space, and all the utensils needed to make cooking a breeze. The dishwasher will keep you unoccupied from doing the dishes and the coffee maker will be the greatest addition to start your day off on the right foot. Outside, the deck area is a great place to unwind and enjoy the great outdoors–a private gas grill, an outdoor dining area, and a firepit will make it an unbeatable relaxation spot. There's also a large Connect Four lawn game for entertaining afternoons.
What's nearby:
There is a public boat launch at the end of the driveway and guests will also have access to the home's private dock. Douglas Lake will be your front yard with endless opportunities for some water fun–many local companies offer boat rentals, plus kayaks, paddleboards, and more! Downtown Dandridge is five miles away offering classic old-town charm with its historic buildings and homes.
Things to know:
Private dock. The dock is 10 x 30. Guests can dock there during the normal lake season since the TVA controls the water level to prevent flooding. Typical season is from April until October. There is not a boat lift currently.

Amazing property and super clean! Great house on a private cove with private dock right on the lake! Only 40 minutes from Pigeon Forge with great restaurants only 10-15 minutes away in Dandridge! Can’t wait to go back!

We recently stayed at this lake house and had a mixed experience. While the property itself has potential, a couple of significant issues stood out during our stay.
Firstly, the cleanliness of the house was not up to par. Upon arrival, we noticed several areas that had been overlooked by the cleaning service. This was disappointing, as we expected a higher standard of cleanliness for a rental property.
Secondly, access to the water was not as easy as we had hoped. The description and photos led us to believe that getting to the lake would be straightforward, but in reality, it was a bit of a hassle.
Based on these factors, we likely won't be renting this property again. We hope the management takes these points into consideration for future guests, as the location and potential of the house are otherwise quite nice.

Overall the cabin is a nice place to stay with a small family. I would recommend staying here.

Wonderful view and lake access! The kitchen was stocked with lots of utensils and pots and pans. Very nice deck with plenty of chairs for everyone. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this property!

We loved how the dock was easy to get to as we had our own boat. The fishing was awful this week, but we enjoyed the time there. I would go back and would recommend to others as it was not the owners/homes fault for all the issues. There is also plenty of parking. Also, be cautious around the top of the stairwell is very close to the entrance. We did have someone fall down the 13 stairs while we were there. He’s okay, but it sure was scary.

This home is exactly what we were looking for... relaxation and plenty of stuff for the kids to do. You're about 30 minutes from most activities, and that was close enough for us. Just a great weekend overall.

Me and the fellas decided to try for a relaxing spring break at this property and had a lovely time. Beds were comfortable enough, kitchen and grill were awesome, and it was relatively close to some great hiking trails. We stayed in early March, but the weather was perfect and the deck was great for catching some rays. Only issues with the home were, one, we didn’t realize the water of the lake is drained in the winter so it had an awkward view, and two, I was getting noise complaint texts at 11:40 at night while inside watching a movie. Besides those things this trip was a lot of fun, and I highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful home that was well equipped with everything you needed for your stay. Very clean and well managed. We were even able to check in early which was a big plus. Plenty of room for everyone, and even more room for others. We plan to stay here again in the summer to be able to use the lake.

The online photos are very flattering for the property. It’s much smaller than it looks online. It has many high end upgrades and roomy outdoor decks. The road down to the is very steep and gravel covered and rough so I would recommend letting renters know because every car would not be able to make it easily. The surrounding neighborhood is a little rundown but we didn’t have any issues with neighbors. There were insects all in the laundry room when we tried to use the washer and dryer. Overall the property was nice but I would not return and I feel it was very overpriced for the location and amenities.

Nice place.. but I’ll never do any of these vacation rentals again due to the bizarre high fees ..

Location on the lake was perfect. House was a good size for the 7 of us. Lots of outdoor seating to relax and enjoy the lake views. Not a bad drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
Love having our own boat dock.

Just finished a trip here with my family. The house was absolutely perfect. We brought a boat to the dock worked out fantastic. It's an excellent location, just off the main Lake and not too much boat traffic.

Great hidden getaway
We had a great time staying in this house. Everything was clean and the kitchen well stocked. The only downside was the grill was unusable and dirty. Propane tanks were available but most were empty, other then that we had a great time.

Great house!
This was a great house for our family. Great location and area and the home was just as listed. Our only complaint was not being able to get the information about the water level which has nothing to do with the house. We came from KY and brought our boat bc they said the water is accessible from April to October. Well, the water was down which meant we couldn’t use the dock and had to put the boat in and out everyday we wanted to use it instead of being able to dock it. We did reach out beforehand to try to get that information and were not given accurate information about it, so that was disappointing. But, but did enjoy the stay and the house.

Great property. The place was clean and well furnished. Had to carry everything up a narrow steps though and is not suited for us 70 plus year olds. The beds were hard but we still had a good time.

This home was the cleanest and best stocked home we have ever rented! The only thing I wish we had was crock pot. We would highly recommend this house. There is plenty of room for 10 or more people.

Fall in Dandridge TN
Beautiful fall views from the home, deck, and surrounding area. Comfortable, relaxing, and clean retreat. Close enough to visit the town too. Enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend.

The home was set-up just perfectly for our family. It sits right on the water except from mid- october until march. I recommend finding out if the lake is down before you go, if you want to get on the water. That is my only complaint that the marina will not rent a boat to you at this time.

Wonderful place for a family to enjoy Douglas Lake!
We had a great time and agree that we would love to come back to this property on Douglas Lake!Easy access to Dandridge grocery store, gas stations, and eating places. Very clean and family oriented. We loved the hang out places outside. The decks are great. The dock was wonderful. We boated, swam, skied, and knee boarded. We loved cooking out on the grill. The kitchen was well furnished with anything you needed even spices. The grill on the deck was great.

The perfect lake vacation!
Our extended family of 11 people spent 4 fabulous days on Douglas Lake, and this home made it perfect. It was very conveniently located, well-stocked and had deep, clean water right at the dock in which to swim. The only 2 minor issues we had (microwave not working / needed propane gas for grill) were fixed very quickly. We rented a pontoon boat & jet ski from Smoky Mountain H2O Sports (which was a wonderful experience and very close to the home by land and water), and then a ski boat from Douglas Lake Marina. We will definitely go back to Smoky Mountain H2O Sports when we stay on Douglas Lake next summer. :-)

Great place to be with family
The pictures do not do it justice. The water off the dock is clean and warm for great swimming and fishing. The cabin is mostly new and updated. We had no power in a few of the bedrooms and they had someone out to fix it within hours on a holiday and a Sunday.
