This home has a spectacular gulf view from the kitchen and living room and Master bedroom. 3 bedroom 2 bath sleeps 10. Floor plan includes Master bedroom with Master bathroom, queen bedroom and a bunk bed room with 2 bunk beds. One has 2 queen bunk beds and one has 2 twin bunk beds .Kitchen is fully stocked. All beds are made for you. Sheets and linens provided at no charge. Huge deck overlooking the Gulf with plenty of seating. Back deck off the Master bedroom overlooks the inter coastal canal. Picnic table, 3 tables and seating for 16 below the house plus a bar. Golf cart access to the beach. WIFI included with 50" Roku television in living room and a tv in the Master bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay at Margenes place. It was clean, perfect location, right on the beach with only one other house next to you. We had an a/c issue and Margene was very easy to talk with and had the issue fixed within a couple of hours. Do not hesitate to book this beach house. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Margene for letting us BORROW your place for a few days and being super responsive to our calls and fixing the issue we had ! Your the best !!!

We had a wonderful week away at this perfect beach house. The house was in a great location, clean and stocked with just what we needed. The beach was wonderful, even though it was cloudy and rainy most of our time there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the waves and the rain. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Loved this home for our short beach vacation! So much room in the kitchen and living, plus the bedrooms were very nice. Had a wonderful time and the host was very responsive to any questions I had. Look forward to staying here again!

Well appointed house right on the beach. We love staying in this area and have rented aboit 6 or 7 times in varipus houses. . I would happily rent here again. The rooms have ceiling fans and great ac and water pressure plus up to date appliances. Read the directions about what to bring. We didnt have salt but a good grocery store is nearby for anything missing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It's wonderful being so close to the beach. We hope to do this every Memorial day weekend and this beachhouse would be perfect.

We stayed April 21-26. We enjoyed birding in High Island and on Bolivar Flats. Each morning we walked over to Roll Over pass to view shorebirds. The views from the deck were lovely, relaxing and there was a nice breeze. We didn’t experience mosquitoes while dining outside. The house was nicely furnished and had ample cookware for meals cooked in house. We would stay here again during migratory season due to the proximity to multiple hot spots and the privacy, cleanliness of the property.

We found this rental looking for escape from Iowa winter. The place was perfect. Very well kept up clean. Location perfect deck sand water. All within 100 ft . Highly recommended to anyone . Few questions we had property manager very responsive Thanks

Cons: The 10:AM checkout is a hardship and a buzzkill. Having guests wash your towels has left you with stinky towels. We didn't get our full allotment of toilet paper. DVD player is a built-in to the small tv in the bedroom. These are trivial in comparison to the- Pros: The view is fantastic. No road between the view and the ocean. Bay view across the North side. Surrounded by water views. No neighbors to the West. A fantastic panoramic of the ocean. Wonderfully built. Sensibly decorated and well furnished. Balcony furniture and downstairs area are impressive. The windows are fantastic. The view, the view and the view. Suggestions: Leave instructions on how to operate the blinds in your booklet. It's time for a cleaning of couch cushions and covering linens - the decorative pillow covers stink. Make available fabric softener for the towels if you're going to have guests wash them. We loved our stay. It was my first weekend away in 6 years. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful time of fishing and relaxing. The house was beautiful with the gulf frontage. The beach was great for shelling, and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning, and a glass of wine in the evening.

My husband and I booked this home for a long weekend getaway. The house was exactly as described. The deck was amazing . The beach was clean and quiet. We rented e-bikes one afternoon and rode up and down the beach. So many shells while beachcombing. The weather was perfect. We had a little fire on the beach at night. Do remember to pack some OFF for the beach if you want to be out at dusk/after dark. The Big Store has anything you might have forgotten. Native Texan here and so far, this is my favorite Texas beach.

Everything was great the kitchen came with every all supplies and plenty of spacing. The view from the very huge balcony was unstoppable. My only complaint would be as for as the sheets on the bed which were not as clean and the windy conditions felt like we were on a cruise ship. lol....overall I'd stay again anytime in this amazing Beach house!!

We have visited VRBO Gulf Beach Properties from Gulf Shores, Alabama down to Brownsville, TX, you need to go "No" further than the Texas Bolivar Peninsula and stay at Pelican Beach. The property was very clean, modern and well appointed, the beach (25-30' away) and Gulf Shore were pristine and so secluded. The Property provides privacy and unbelievable viewing of sunrises and sunsets. Whether you want to walk the beach, fish, or spend time in the sun on the beach...this property will not disappoint. Galveston is only 20 miles away and the Ferry rides are a real treat. The property owner reached out to us personally a week before our stay with an up-date showing a genuine interest that we have an enjoyable time. Whether you stay on Bolivar Peninsula or go to Galveston, entertainment and restaurants leave nothing to be desired! I would recommend this property to anyone.

stayed Thurs-Sun. very quiet Thurs-Fri, beach traffic picked up Saturday but that is expected, not bad. We had a great time exploring the area and just hanging out. Several bar and grills in the area with live music. Had a great time at JayLa's doing karaoke Friday night! Watching pelicans as they fly around looking for fish was fun and relaxing while sitting on the deck just hanging out. Overall, a great weekend getaway for relaxing and finding your center.

Even in the summer, the location had few people around leaving plenty of room to hang out all day and enjoy the beach. We left all our stuff on the sand and went back and forth to the house a couple of times during the day. It was perfect for us. No issues at all.

This property had the best stocked kitchen! We cook our own meals for most of our stay and the kitchen had it all. Kitchen/ Living area is open and roomy for gathering in the heat of the day to cool off before heading back out to beach in the evening. Lots of seashells to pick and choose from. Very quiet neighborhood. Just what we were looking for!

Pelican Beach has beautiful views of the ocean and the soothing sounds of crashing waves. It is the perfect getaway if you are looking for some beach time and is steps from the beach. You can walk out in the morning, set up shop on the beach, and just hang out all day. 🏖️☀️ Margene was a wonderful host and was always very responsive to our questions. We highly recommend staying at Pelican Beach and will be staying there again ourselves.

WONDERFUL!! Margene was so responsive and caring in accommodating us…She made sure we were all very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Also, I needed in advance, emergency information in case our 8 month pregnant DIL went into labor while we were there😳 Thankfully that didn’t happen but Margene went the extra mile to give names of hospitals and directions to each of them! Very nice beach house positioned right on the beach👍
