Welcome to our beautifully updated & decorated Carlsbad Retreat SINGLE LEVEL HOME (no climbing up and down the stairs) located in Olde Town Carlsbad, right off Tamarack Ave., In a quiet & safe neighborhood, minutes away from everything! It has all you’d want to come enjoy the ocean at Tamarack State beach, with stunning sunsets in the evening, Agua Hedionda Lagoon, Carlsbad Village, Legoland, & family and friends. You’ll create beautiful lifetime family memories, so come stay and recharge your Soul!! The home is remodeled, 4 Bedrooms and 2 baths, stunning beautiful front yard landscape, & backyard patio outdoor couch set, outdoor dining set with umbrella and BBQ grill. You will be safe as our home is professionally cleaned with disinfecting household cleaners before every new stay. (Covid 19 protocol)

I would definitely stay again. The house was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it had all the necessities. Great location and neighborhood! Very quiet and feels very safe. Thank you for a great stay!

My sister and I stayed here for 5 nights. Very safe neighborhood away from the train tracks but close to everything by auto. The home was very clean and well equipped, other than ice trays. With four bedrooms and 2 baths, great for a family or couples. Outside patio was great for taking in the afternoon sun. Very private. Appreciated the fact that there was sufficient seating both inside and out for the house bedroom count.
There was one comfort height toilet which was great for us seniors.
While the house and furnishings were clean, they were a bit blah. Hoping for something more contemporary.
Loved Carlsbad! Hope to return.

The house was a perfect location for our 2 day trip to Legoland. Plenty of room for 3 Adults and 3 children ages 3, 4 and 6 House was clean and beds very comfortable. Nice large dining room table and kitchen was well equipped. Having a single story was great with the kids.

House is well furnished and comfortable. However if you are still a cable TV person like us you will be frustrated by the Roku TV. You can not access many channels unless you have access to a streaming service and the Roku channels had programs we’d never heard. To relax in the evening we had to watch old episodes of Rockford files.

Super close to our family reunion home in Carlsbad. Loved this home with beautiful yard. Able to park our motorhome in driveway too. Had all we needed. No AC, but little water cooling fans provided were just enough. Enjoyed every moment of our stay!

We enjoyed our stay, it was very warm and the house does not have air conditioning, a few fans, could use more for the hot weather. Main bedroom does not have a closet although one could use the hall closet. I don't think the electricity was upgraded with the remodel because the dining room fixture flickering with one hair dryer running. Everything worked fine and the house did cool down with the front window and sliding door to the backyard open.

This property met or exceeded all our expectations for a quiet and convivial family vacation! Close to beach, village, and store, the Casa was a perfect setting for our multigenerational family beach trip. Hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. We are looking forward to returning next summer for any even longer stay!

We stayed at this property with our extended family for my husband’s aunts memorial service. It was the perfect location near the beaches and all the great activities north of San Diego. It was beyond clean with easy check in process. We had a great stay. The best part was how helpful the host was. My daughter left her favorite blanket she’s had since she was a baby. We contacted the host and he met us with the blanket. He saved the day and the vacation! We felt very lucky to have a host that was so easy to work with. Best VRBO experience ever!

We chose this home because it had 4 bedrooms and was close to Legoland, and it was exactly as promised! Super clean, great communication with hosts and perfect location - on a quiet street but close to shopping and easy to get to the highway to explore the area. Seamless check in process and an overall great experience. Highly recommend!

This house has lots of space in the bedrooms, great for our family of 5. The location was ideal for so many activities and restaurants in the Carlsbad area.

We had such a great time at this beautiful house. It’s a perfect location in Carlsbad- close to everything you need and want to do! We really appreciated the extras like sunscreen, beach toys, and boogie boards for a fun time at the nearby beach. Check in and out were both super easy and we had no issues during our stay! Great House for a Beach Escape
My friends and I stayed at Olde Carlsbad for 5 days recently. We really enjoyed the the house. It was as advertised, clean, and comfortable.
Bedrooms/Bathrooms:
The beds and pillows were very comfortable! We all slept very well. The bathrooms were clean and upgraded. I brought my own toiletries, but they did have shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper.
Kitchen:
We didn't do much cooking but we appreciated the kettle to heat water for tea. We noticed there were plenty of utensils, pots/pans, and dishware. They supplied dish soap and a new sponge. There were no condiments other than some salt, pepper, and olive oil which was fine for us, but good to know to add to your shopping list.
Backyard:
Backyard has some nice lemon trees that smelled wonderful since they were blooming. There was a outdoor couch and chairs that maybe could use some new cushions. There was a grill and table with umbrella as well.
The location is convenient to the freeway, beach, and shopping village. We took a Lyft to most places since we wanted to enjoy a couple drinks but it's just as easy to drive. All the main attractions are within about 15 minutes.
All and all this is a great house in a quiet neighborhood!

Perfect Home for a getaway.
The managers made the process so easy and it was the perfect home for our family to use. There was a book to include the house rules and attractions in the area. It was very useful. If we are able to come back and it’s available in the future we would love to stay again.

The house was perfectly located for us—far enough away to be out of the downtown area but still close enough to get into San Diego easily. The house was spotlessly clean, spacious, and well equipped. We were able to make meals and have a nice quiet time with my nephew and his mom and sister. Carlsbad is a great town with lots to do and see. We definitely would stay here again. Really a great property and the owners were wonderful to work with.

A Perfect Vacation Getaway
Absolutely wonderful!
This is definitely one of the best vacation houses we've ever rented and we've stayed in quite a few. Location, cleanliness, amenities, ease of check-in, check-out and so comfortable - exceeded our expectations. Very nice decor and loved the big dining room. A delightful surprise - the beautiful front garden with great plantings.
