Other than a physically stressful checkin process, quite nice stay in Como

The room was comfortable. The included breakfast was appreciated. The location was good.

The initial process for gaining access to the property was stressful. After filling out on online form and getting a code, you have to enter that at one place and then try to run upstairs fast enough to enter your room. If you aren't fast enough, you have to do it again. And if it doesn't work as in our case, you do that multiple times before giving up and calling for help. Once you're in the room the first time, you get access to a physical card key and its ok.

The room Villa Olma was disappointing.

We have stayed here previously, but in a different room. The location is great. The breakfast at the cafe is good. The room was clean.

The room was smaller than we had before, the bed takes up almost all the room. We had no hot water for all of our stay, the contact insisted there was, and seemed to think we were not being truthful. No one came to check. We were refunded for one night. The bathroom had a chipped sink, and the toilet seat was broken. There is the equipment to make coffee or boil water but no makings. The extension lead for the kettle/coffee maker didn’t seem to work.

Volveré a AMA 18 en Como, algún día sin dudas

La habitación preciosa Villa Carlota superó mis expectativas, impecable; la atención de sus dueños para conmigo estuvo siempre presente; el café espectacular excelente atención de su dueño, y de los chicos que trabajan ahí. Desayuno muy completo, los spritz y aperitivos deliciosos. Me siento muy afortunada de haber elegido a AMA18. Si vuelvo alguna vez a Como, los elijo nuevamente.

Tutto ottimo ma il bagno freddo per il secondo anno non mi soddisfa !

Colazione Top ! Letto molto molto confortevole! e grande !

Sono stato anche l’anno scorso e ora posso dire che il bagno era ed è sempre freddo !!! Più freddo della camera. Tappo del lavandino che ostruiva lo scarico ma bastava toglierlo.

Sehr schlechte Zimmer ich würde niemanden diesen AMA 18 Rooms empfehlen.

Zimmer war schmutzig Bettwäsche waren sehr schmutzig und haben gestunken. Badezimmer Abwasch war verstopft Zimmer war sehr kalt obwohl ich auf maximum eingestellt habe wurde nicht warm. Wir haben für 5 Tage gebucht aber nach 2 Tagen müssten wir abchecken. Obwohl wir das ganze gemeldet haben wurde uns die restlichen Tage nicht erstattet

Einmal und nie wieder. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Die Lage

Es hat damit angefangen, dass die Eintrittscode zum Zimmer nicht stimmt. Die Fernbedienung für das TV fehlte und kein Ersatz hergebracht wurde. Das Badezimmer war Sau kalt über die gesamt Aufenthaltsdauer. In der Dusche klaffte ein grosses Loch, der Waschtisch hing auf halb Acht sodass man befürchten musste, dass dieser gleich abfällt. Es war über all sehr staubig….

Es war ein schöner Kurztrip und wir würden wieder kommen.

Schönes Zimmer, gemütliches Bett, Frühstück war auch ok (wenig Auswahl aber lecker), super Lage, es gibt sogar Zimmerservice Self Check-In hat super funktioniert!

Die Zimmer sind seeeeeehr hellhörig. Wir hatten ein Zimmer unten und es war zum Teil viel zu laut um zu schlafen wegen anderen Gästen.

Ausstattung war gut.

Es war sehr kalt im Zimmer und man konnte keine Temperatur einstellen . Der Öffentliche Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist sehr teuer mit 23€.

Küçük ayrıntılar tesisi bir üst seviyeye çıkartır.

Temiz olması önemliydi. Ayrıca yönlendirmeler ile odamıza kolay bir şekilde giriş yapabildik.

Sadece ayrıntılara dikkat edilseydi tesisin daha çok puan alacağına inanıyorum. Örneğin nespresso makinesi var, kahvesi var ama su yoktu. Ya da müşteriler için tek kullanımlık terlik de verilebilir. Aynı şekilde şampuanı ben göremedim ama eşim var olduğunu söyledi. Ama benim dikkatimi çekmediği için kullanmadım. Ya da kahvaltı bu kadar karışık olmamalı. Ama ona rağmen kahvaltı yeterliydi ve personel ilgiliydi.

The property was better than the service we experienced.

Location was great and a very nice apartment.

Service we were not impressed with. Ran out of toilet supplies the day before we left and were promised replacement. That did not happen. Very disappointed with the included breakfast. Very minimal, no butter supplied and coffee lukewarm, hence only one sitting attempted.

Disappointed, we don’t recommend at all for that price

We paid 300€/night and it didn’t worth it … no hand towel, no shower gel, no glasses in the bathroom, no water bottles, no tissues and only one toilet paper … The room was really smaller than excepted and dark … it was very noisy during the night because of the road in front of our windows and visibly, all the room have their windows on the road side…. It’s a self check-in and when I called the staff because I was unable to open my room door (the key card was inside), he seems to be really upset to explain me … We were very disappointed and we left a day earlier …

Awful. Never again.

Nothing at all, the bed was awful, the pillows needs to be recycled a couple years ago. Some noise was all the time. Even no the compliment water. Near is the dog place, so be ready for the barking all the time. Breakfast is simple as possible.

Good location and cafe next door.

Needs some small touches like suppling bottled water in the mini bar and more soap/shower gel. The code you are issued to get into the room appears to be the same each time, a colleagues code opened a guests room before they had checked out!

disappointed

close to old town. bar downstairs was great for breakfast which included a croissant of choice super fresh, coffee of choice, fresh squeezed orange juice and cheese and ham toastie. very sufficient!

not much space. quite dark on arrival as all curtains closed. dust not removed regularly. sink wouldn’t drain in bathroom which meant we washed our hands in bidet often 😩no spare toilet paper.

Not recommended for families reality vs pictures don't match unfortunately.

Self-check-in is easy and user-friendly (just remember that once you enter the code outside at the main entrance the door inside is unlocked as well, once you booked). Breakfast is tasty and fresh!

The room was damaged in many places. Water leakage in the shower (room #3) at least. It goes all the way to the stairs and gets very slippery. You get only one towel set so use them wisely (as we had to use more than 1 to clear the wet floor in the bathroom). They don't speak any English at breakfast so it can get very difficult to explain something but these days you can manage using apps (maybe not ideal for everyone). We had a crib but it was damaged on 1 side and had no mattress. Some kind of mattress was delivered later but they had no other cribs and we were left with the broken one so we had to improvise how to make sure our toddler doesn't fall out. Cleanliness was poor as we found a lot of dust around and especially under the bed as our toddler was going through the room with some nails and hair.

it’s spacious, clean, enough furnitured.

For that money I would expect a decent breakfast. We only had choice between croissants en toasty. And I thought there was free parking in the neighborhood, but unfortunately there was not.

it was quite at night and the bed and tv were great to have.

no daily cleaning, cobwebs and spider in the corner, marks all over walls and only two towels for a 3 night stay with 2 people.

Convenient and comfortable for a 2-3 days trip

Excellent location near the historical city center, renovated and comfortable apartment. Municipality parking opposite the building (not free)

Breakfast isn’t the typical you expect in a hotel (limited to a pastry and a drink). Cleaning levels were very good, not excellent though. Hairdryer was broken and never got a replacement. Take your shampoos as well

Room was very comfortable, bed and bathroom were great. Breakfast at the bar in the morning was good, nothing crazy but enough to get ya going. Location was perfect for arriving from the train station as it was easy to walk to. Also very easy to walk around Como from the location.

Cozy and luxury to a really good price! Made our staying in Como much better!

Perfect location! Near everything. Beautiful even in winter but I can just imagine how beautiful it will be in summer! Breakfast at the café was a new experience but it was very nice and the staff were so nice and helpful!

The bed was maybe a bit hard for my liking but I like really soft beds so it’s depending on what you like. Otherwise was the bed and bedroom really cozy and very beautiful!
