A GEM of a home located on a hidden private cul-de-sac in the most sought-after neighborhood in Marina. Freshly-painted and ready for guests, this gorgeous property constructed in 2003 boasts huge ceilings and a vast living space with all the upgrades you expect from a modern home. The kitchen features granite countertops, modern appliances and an island just off the separate Family Room with a matching granite fireplace. The living space is filled with natural light through dozens of windows and you can find recessed lighting and built-in wooden shelving throughout the house. The master bedroom is its own refuge with sunk in jacuzzi tub, in wall electric fireplace, luxury linens and a 60 inch flat screen T.V. Other features of the home include a separate Laundry Room with additional cabinet storage and marble sink top, and a newer water heater in the large garage. The fenced garden area is very significant to making La Duna Rosa a fun and relaxing place to unwind. The backyard is not any ordinary backyard, it's a place to take it easy by the multiple firepits, read in the swinging nest chair, and for firing up the BBQ amongst pear, apples and lime trees while you enjoy the view of the spectacularly colorful sunsets over the dunes.

Only pros, no cons. Clean, functional, very charming and with attention to detail. Also easy to find, host was responsive and clear. We appreciated that everything was just there when we arrived: coffee, towels, bathroom amenities, even a bottle of wine.
Would 100% book again.

My wife and I and another couple stayed at this home for five days and absolutely loved it. The thoughtfulness of this layout, the amenities, and the communication were fantastic. I have a home on the Oregon coast that I rent out through Vrbo and found some things they gave me ideas about how I can improve my rental. Very comfortable bed, very nice quiet home at the end of a cul-de-sac, excellent responsiveness Regarding some minor maintenance issues.

Lovely home with all comforts, and more, attended to! Sweet touches of S’more ingredients, a welcoming bottle of wine and box of chocolates, beach chairs/towels, plenty of space to hang out together both inside and out! All in a quiet neighborhood and 30 minutes or less from tons of fun activities! We spent a day and evening in Carmel, two days in Monterey Bay and one day in the wine country.

Our family had a great time staying at this vacation rental! The house is very spacious and have everything you need for your vacation, including plenty of beach towels and chairs. Our kids enjoyed very much the backyard, especially the fountain and the fire pit. The property management company is doing a great job to welcome you to the house. Marco called us in advance to provide all needed instructions, and suggested to call him any time over the weekend if we need something.

Lovely home a short walk from the state park beach and minutes to Monterey & Del Monte Beach. All systems were functioning well. It was easy to give everyone some space and there was plenty of room to get together.

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood
This house looks nearly new and is very well maintained. The property managers were responsive. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious and has the basics. The parking is strictly limited to two spaces, so extra vehicles will need to be parked out on the main road (which is quiet too), about 75 yards away. All bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom contains a large, beautiful bathroom without a separate door (except for a small room with the toilet). All of the bedrooms have light-filtering, not light-blocking shades; all beds were comfortable. The house was well outfitted with linens, towels, washer/dryer, fans, beach chairs, and beach towels. We enjoyed the patio area in the backyard for eating a meal on a sunny afternoon.

We booked this home for an ocean vacation with our four young children (2,4,6,8) and it couldn't have been better. The location for beach access and to go to Monterey for the Aquarium and activities is ideal and the home is in a very quiet neighborhood. Great memories were had and we can't wait to plan a return trip.

Perfect location
We booked this home for an ocean vacation with our four young children (2,4,6,8) and it couldn't have been better. The location for beach access and to go to Monterey for the Aquarium and activities is ideal and the home is in a very quiet neighborhood. Great memories were had and we can't wait to plan a return trip.

Big New Beautiful
My golf partner and I wanted a convenient and nice home in Monterey area. We were close to freeway and ten minutes from Bayonet golf course and 25 to Poppy Hills. It was a very new, beautifully laid out house. Everything was perfect.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at LDR. The owners/management company thought of many nice touches to ensure the experience was positive (shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, extra toilet paper/paper towels, kitchen essentials and more). It is clear they want their guests to enjoy their stay. The challenge for us was that we were staying for a week (to move our oldest to college) and we were informed 2 days prior to our arrival that there would be landscape work from 830=330 on weekdays. When we arrived, we experienced much more extensive grounds property work that included sawing, cutting stone, hammering, large trucks and often a full work crew. On day 1, the manager came by and said they would limit noisy work to start after 1130 am. Sadly this never happened and most days the workers were there before 8 am and even showed up on Saturday. As a home owner, I fully understand how nice it is to have workers who arrive early and are diligent in completing their work, as a vacationer, this was disruptive each day. Also, since the work was to enhance the yard (it will be amazing when done), we could not really use the back either (there's no real front outdoor space). This aggravating way to wake up each day on vacation was not met with any sympathy and when I called on our last day, my call was also never returned. We really enjoyed the home and just wish there had been some consideration of this intensive home improvement work to our rental agreement (to tell us 2 days before didn't give us time to consider an alternative either - though we were told they signed the agreement when we booked which was about 2 months ago and maybe we could have made other arrangements). It's a great place, just not fun to be awakened to loud construction noise almost every morning. This was not a discount rental so it would have been nice for them to pause the work or consider an option that could have been helpful for us. We were happy to look past unreliable wifi, a drippy drain in the main shower for hours and window issues, but when you add it to the inconsiderate construction, it's hard to be thrilled with the experience.

The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped. We were welcomed in person which was a nice touch. The only problem was that the outside grill did not work. We texted the property manager and never even received an acknowledgment of the problem. Other than that, the stay was outstanding.

This is a spatious renovated home in a very central location with only a short drive to Carmel, Monterey and Moss landing. The home is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and relax and is located in a cute quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful experience and enjoyed our stay!
