We had a sibling at the hospital and we could all stay and be near. There really need to be some safety features added, baby gate for the stair ways, ( they are steep and narrow if you have a problem with stairs) and grab bars in the bathroom shower. The hot water is extremely hot, just so you know, unusual for a rental. But good. We are thankful for this rental

We had a lovely stay! The location was great, right downtown and a 20 minute walk down to the lake. We really enjoyed the roof top deck. It's across the street from a brewery that had music both nights of our stay. We enjoyed the music with takeout from the restaurant right from the deck. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We had a question about transportation to CMAC and he got back to us right away. The place was well stocked with anything you needed and there were thoughtful touches throughout the apartment, including damaged towels that could be used for lotion or cleaning up. We struggled with the TVs a bit, but that was likely user error. By the time we were using them it was too late to ask for help. Our only feedback would be to include instructions for their use.We are already making plans to come back and stay again!

The location was great, easy to get around walking and driving. The description was fairly accurate, but there were things that need to be addressed- light switches that didnt work, strobing light in one of the bed rooms, loose railings, an open unprotected flight of stairs, no screens in many windows, two gaping (and dangerous) holes in the balcony floor, no instructions for the television, and no idea where to put the trash that the owners wanted to have taken out. The kitchen equipment provided was very limited, few pots and pans, dull knives, and ridiculously small coffee cups! With all of the added fees etc, it was expensive for what was provided.

Enjoyed the area. Close to restaurants and shop. Good parking.
Worked out perfectly with our granddaughter.

We loved this property. Rooms and amenities were clean and comfy. The washer/dryer feature was a great bonus, especially traveling with kids. And the restaurant downstairs was some of the best food we’d had on our trip. Highly recommend eating there one night.
The only thing that could be improved for us would be a little more detail regarding the stairs. The property is on the second floor, so stairs (as the description emphasizes) are required to access the property. Wouldn’t have been a problem for us, except that upon arrival we discovered that no door or gate existed at the top of the stairs. That’s a bit of a safety hazard when traveling with a 1-year-old. Owner could easily fix the issue by having a baby gate onsite as an option to use for families with little kids.
Otherwise, the place was great! Very good and safe for small children.

Good location with parking for the entire lake region. Owner or staff are always around if needed. TV's in 3 rooms. Modern kitchen and features a nice deck. Close to several other restaurants and most people would agree that you can easily walk to the lake. Bathroom is a bit small. I liked the closet space. Yes, you can hear the restaurant noise for a few hours but I liked it as I was alone on this trip. One other plus is there is a bar at the restaurant. I only had time for one meal at Casa De Pasta but it was very good and they have attentive staff.

We were hoping to do some boating the weather wasn't quite warm enough. It worked out because it was still sunny and quite enjoyable hanging on the large roof top deck.

We stayed here while we were in town for a high school reunion. The property is right downtown and close to all Canandaigua has to offer. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall just OK.
Nice location to walk to all/ most of Canandaigua’s places/activities.
The property itself was not very clean and a number of the fixtures were broken or falling apart.

Terrific location and convenience
Ideally located rental within walking distance of several breweries, restaurants and shops. It was our first visit to the region and the property made it very easy to sight see and unwind. The building is historic and has all you need without the frills. A little sprucing up would go a long way. That said, it was all we needed and we weren’t looking for fancy.

Mini-Vacay in Canandaigua
The property was in a great location. A block from Main St. Good restaurants in walking distance. Rooftop patio. Good base for our trips around the area.

Great Location
The location of this apartment cannot be beat. It is in the heart of downtown Canandaigua within walking distance to many great restaurants, breweries, and charming stores. It is close to the lake and wineries as well as Wegmans for an easy grocery run.
The accommodations themselves are clean but basic. It is in a historic home that has been turned into a restaurant on the ground floor and the apartment above. The main living space is spacious and there is a roof deck for nicer weather. The bathroom is very small. The bedrooms are fine but nothing fancy. Some small upgrades like bedside lamps or alarm clocks would go a long way toward making them more welcoming. The size of the apartment overall was good for our family of 2 kids under 10 and 2 adults to stretch out in.
Overall, this is a decent value for the money and gives you great access to anything you in the area to enjoy.

Very nice
Overall the property was very nice. Mattresses weren’t very comfortable and it would have been nice to have room darkening shades.
