Its 2,372 square foot layout features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with comfortable air conditioning and plenty of beautiful, Hawaiian natural light throughout.
This Big Island vacation home is situated along the 2nd fairway on the lush Kona Country Club’s Makai Golf Course, making it the ideal location for any golf enthusiast. In the mornings, you can enjoy views of early morning tee times and the sparkling Pacific from your oversized, covered lanai. In the evenings, you can squeeze in a relaxing dip in your saltwater, in-ground swimming pool, and spa before a nightcap with your guests. Imagine the evenings you’ll spend here where it’s just you and your loved ones with nothing to do but enjoy one another's company and breathe in the salty, tropical air.
The amenities inside Holua Kai #27 are just as impressive as the ones outside the home, with high-end appliances, a vitamix blender, breville nespresso machine, 75” tv with soundbar and mesh wifi network. This luxury vacation rental is able to accommodate up to 6 guests due to its 3-bedroom layout. The additional guest bedrooms feature King-size and Twin-size bedroom layouts, with garden views and ensuite bathrooms. Please note that 7 private tennis and 20 pickleball courts are available for guest use for an additional fee. Of those facilities, 5 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts have lights. Court Rentals are $25/hour per court for non-members. If you'd like to become a member of the Holua Kai community, the court rental fee will be waived. To book a private tennis or pickleball court, guests may call or text Holua Kai's shop phone, and let them know of the day and time you are planning to play. A member of Holua Kai's community team will let you know which court(s) are available.
Drop-in, Open Pickleball Play Schedule @ Holua Racquet and Paddle: Every drop-in play is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10/person for each open play they join. My family from So California & Phoenix came together to visit our Ohana on the Big Island. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The property was very nice. The location was perfect and the view was simply amazing.
I have a couple of suggestions that I will share with the property management team, but all in all, I give it a 9! You'll really enjoy your stay!

Our recent stay at this property was an absolute delight. The place was beautifully designed, providing a calming atmosphere that made our vacation truly relaxing. We particularly loved the pool and hot tub, which offered stunning views that were simply breathtaking. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted for us to cook almost all our meals at home, making it incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a comfortable and decadent experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had our family of 6 (including adult children) stay here and we had a lovely time. Home is well equipped and view is spectacular as is the lanai. Note the yard is very small and there is music at night from nearby Outrigger resort restaurant. Also there could be a few more beach towels, nicer beach chairs, a boogie board and a few snorkel masks. We'd definitely stay here again!

This house may be the nicest house we have ever rented. It is so nice and new and the views/sunsets are UNREAL! The house has everything you will need - except a cocktail shaker 😁. Be sure to look for the goats on the golf course in the morning and around 5pm. They are so cute. We used the KTA grocery store a few miles away. There is a harbor less than a mile from there and you can go snorkeling right from there. Be sure to walk to the Outrigger and get a drink and watch the manta rays swim. Other things are close by too. We found it to be a perfect place to launch our Hawaiian adventures. We hope to return to the Hawaii and the house again soon!

We had a wonderful time at this rental. High end furniture, appliances, and well stocked. It was far away enough from the crowds and activities but close enough to good food and shopping. The only thing we did not like was the shower pressure - it was weak especially in the other bedrooms. Pool was nice and warm and the view was excellent. The noise from the 5am lawnmower on the golf course was a bit bothersome but we got over it. The noise from the nearby hotel was loud but it was over with by 9pm. Communication from the office was adequate. Overall, we had a fabulous time here.

The property was exactly what we were hoping for and the pictures and description in VRBO very accurately represented the accommodations. It is in a nice gated community with a great view of the golf course and the ocean. We could see the sunset each night this time of year. The house was spacious, well appointed and well stocked. The property owner and managers were extraordinarily helpful. We can’t think of anything we would change.

This was a great home for our week long stay on the big island. Our kids (9 and 12) loved the pool and we loved the location and view. The house itself was very clean and all of the furnishings were new and well maintained. It was a quiet neighborhood and a great base for all of our adventures. Overall, it was the best rental house we have stayed at in Hawaii.

My family and I had an amazing time at this property. It was well stocked, clean, beautiful (the pictures don’t do it Justice), and conveniently located. The kitchen was definitely a chef’s kitchen. All bedroom suites were well-equipped, but the master suite as awesome. :-) The lanai/pool is beautiful. We watched whales from our lanai! If we return, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here. Beautiful home.

We stayed here for 3 nights with my husband + 3 kids, plus my parents. Everything was as in the photos, very nice and clean. The 3 bedrooms have their own bathroom, plus and additional guest bathroom! There were some extra bedding so we made up a bed on the sofa as well. The spa heats up within 30 min, and there was a cooler and beach chairs that were handy to have for a day trip to the beach. Less than 10 min away there is a strip mall with a KTA grocery store and some restaurants. One restaurant called the View has an awesome view of the coastline. The only downside was the cost, with the VRBO fees this place was bit out of budget but was definitely the best option for the area. If you want to do a snorkel tour by Captain Cook Bay, Fairwind cruises is only a 5 min drive to park and do a catamaran day snorkel cruise!
