About this house rental
Views, views, views! This is a great multi-level 5-bedroom townhouse in Sunrise Ridge with direct views of Peak 10. Spread out across 2,700 square feet and 4 floors. A spacious home perfect for large groups and families alike!
This light and bright end unit is equipped with a two-car garage plus one driveway space. There are fantastic views that can be seen from multiple points throughout the house. Relax in the mornings or evenings on the deck while taking in the expansive views of Breckenridge's great peaks. This is a perfect spot in summer or winter.
The townhouse has kitchen dining that seats 8-10, as well as a breakfast nook that seats 4, to enjoy meals made in the home. On chillier nights light a fire and cozy up watching a movie on the 42 inch flat screen TV in the living room. Or if you'd like a quiet night in, cozy up next to the second fireplace located in the master bedroom.
During the beautiful summer days, head out for a scenic hike or bike ride on the mountain. In winter, make sure to hop over to the Quicksilver lift for easy access to the slopes - just 5-10 minutes away! There is ski access via the Burro trail. However, the ski access is for intermediate/advanced skiers only.
Ski-in/Ski-out Details-
Ski-Out (from Condo-to-Resort): The ski-out is down some stairs across the street, then you have to ski down a path which leads to the Quicksilver and/or Beaver lifts. There is a bit of pushing involved. The path starts out a bit steep, but an average blue skier could side slip it. If you are advanced, you will have zero problem. If you are a decent blue skier, you can do this and will not need to take a shuttle. Ski-In (from Resort-to-Condo). This is more complicated, but very doable. You need to take the Falcon lift, ski down Cimarron-to-Flapjack. At the bottom of Flapjack you will get to a path, which leads to an access gate. You will go out the gate (the out-of-bounds gate) and follow the path (other skiers are also taking this), to the right. You'll eventually lead to a field, which lets you ski back to your condo. To see this, go to YouTube and search "Breckenridge ski burro trail". You can do it!

Breckenridge was great. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. This was an attached townhouse style home with many, many stairs... not good for old folks. Elevation was 9,500'+ and we had to acclimate.

Very nice
10.0 / 10.0
We left the 100 degree temperature in Oklahoma for a much cooler stay in Breck at the end of June. The neighborhood was very nice, 5 minutes to town and there were hiking trails close to the townhouse. The house was very accommodating for our group and the family and friends were able to spread out throughout the space. Everyone loved the hot tub and sauna. The kitchen was spacious for all the chefs and the table was large enough to fit the family and friends. The grill is on the patio with a great view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year.
10.0 / 10.0
Everything was great for our family of 9. Our favorite was the hot tub and the sauna room.
The only drawback was that the parking for the third car was a little challenging as there's no on street parking and the third car had to park along the garage door, blocking the two parked in the garage. Should have read the description and driven two cars.
One tiny suggestion would be for the landlord to provide laundry detergent and saran wrap.
Overall, a great stay!

Reviewer Comments:
A three-generation family spent a relaxing week in this spacious and amply equipped condo just minutes from the Breckenridge slopes. The kitchen was perfect for doing our own cooking, and there were more than enough beds for our 7 adults and four children. The ski-in and out process was too much for the beginners but doable for the experienced skiers. Definitely would recommend for larger families.
8.0 / 10.0
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, and had plenty of room for our group of 10.
However the hot tub was broken when we arrived and we messaged that it was not heating. Communication with host was slow and it took 3 days to resolve the issue (so we only were able to use the hot tub for half of our stay).
The ski out was good (although challenging for some of our group). The ski in was ok but very challenging for the snowboarders in the group, as it’s partially uphill. We ended up needing to hike back or take the shuttle to get back to the house.
10.0 / 10.0
This is a great place to stay, lots of room for people with the many bedrooms/bunk-beds, and close to the slopes. I wanted to address the ski-in/ski-out situation very directly. I had a hard time understanding the topology before getting there, so I thought I'd describe it so people can make an intelligent choice.
Ski-In (from Condo-to-Resort): The ski-in is down a stairs and hill across the street, then you have a ski down a path (and cross a river) which leads to the Quicksilver and/or Beaver lifts. There is a bit of pushing involved. The path starts out a bit steep, but an average blue skier could side slip it. If you are advanced, you will have zero problem. All this is to say that it's a bit of an adventure, vs. just "ski out your door". This was fine with me, but just want it to be clear with people. If you are a decent blue skier, you can do this and will not need to take a shuttle.
Ski-Out (from Resort-to-Condo). This is much more complicated, but very doable. The comment of "it's impossible" is clearly wrong. So, to get back... you need to take the Falcon lift, ski down Cimaron-to-Flapjack. You can do it.

Our group of couples really enjoyed our stay. The property had great views of peak 9 and quick access to the shuttle (which took us straight to peak 9) Our group found the ski out to be a bit too challenging but the shuttle was very convenient.
We also used the shuttle to get to town which was nice.
Our group loved using the hot tub and sauna after long days of skiing.
We also enjoyed seeing some wildlife near the house. A fox and a moose both made appearances.
This property has MANY flights of stairs, so consider that when booking. Our group would stay at this property again.
10.0 / 10.0
Great location. Aggressive blue level ski out trail. No ski in. Free shuttle to and from condo was easy to use and stop is close to the front door. The condo is a little dated but perfect for the price. We had a great family reunion trip!

Sunrise Ridge 437 was wonderful for our group of 14. Bed/bath layout was incredible and the living space was cozy and spacious at the same time. The kitchen had everything for cooking and serving large groups, and we loved the hot tub! The only downside... hard mattresses. These could definitely use an upgrade; many of us didn't sleep and ended up on the lovely leather couches all night. Otherwise - we'd stay again in a heartbeat!!

Eight of us from the East and four from Colorado gathering together; all ages: grandparents (80s), parents (40-50s), 6 teenagers ages 13 to 18. Everyone enjoyed their visit, plenty to do. Some of the teens took the bus line to town and enjoyed that. Rented a pontoon boat on Dillon Lake, boys went fishing on Green Mt. Reservoir with a guide. Did hiking, etc. etc.

Good property. Clean, accessible, well kept. Kitchen well stocked to prep and serve meals for our large group. Responsive property manager. Caution to older guests who may not manage stairs well: this property requires 6 flights to climb from the lower garage level to the upper bedroom loft. Would stay there again.
8.0 / 10.0
Property has all amenities promised, is well maintained, and in a quiet neighborhood. Only thing we regretted was not realizing that there are 7 flights of stairs to climb to get anywhere in the condo. As a lowlander I found myself running out of breath often. We also had a hot tub maintenance worker arrive with no warning and let himself inside the house. A few items on property need some attention, a sunrise shutter needs repair, found a hole in one set of sheets, doors seem to stick and required extra effort to open/close.

Sunrise Ridge is a great location for skiing and had beds and room for our large extended family. The kitchen and living areas were fantastic offering plenty of room to gather and the large kitchen table was great for our family. The game cabinet had fun games and legos for the kids and there was a crib, high chair and boosters that came in handy. The stairs weren’t too bad but there did end up being 9 people on the top floor with a baby in the crib and there is no bathroom on that level. The vanities in the rooms do help. Ryan was very responsive and immediately helped when we needed the coffee maker replaced and even offered to mail back a stuffed bunny we left. It might have been helpful to have more information about the shuttle and where the trail to ski onto the mountain was located. Overall it’s a great place for a large group to stay.

This is a spacious house with plenty of kitchen utensils, spices and everything else. If you are looking for ski-in and ski-out, this is not the property for you though. It’s nearly impossible to get to the house from the slopes. It’s about 10 min car ride to beaver run ski school.

Overall the property was great. It wasn’t true ski in ski out - you had to walk a bit down to the trail and to the lift. There was a plumbing issue and the property manager sent a plumber very quickly. Would rent this again

Property was better then we expected. Very nice and spacious, you do have to climb many steps since it’s around 5 floors but other than that everything was excellent with really close access to breck town and slopes.

Our family travels to CO every year from across the country to celebrate Xmas together. Our family is large and has skiers from 68 to 3. There are several things to like about this property. The first thing our kids found was the łarge collection of Legos but there were several kid things to entertain during the whole. The kitchen was the best stocked of any we have stayed at, thank you! There is a ski in for medium skill and above but the drive to beaver run drop off is close and easy. Dryer broke while there and they replaced it same day. Only complaint, the stairs, lots of them, but only bothered the old folks (like me). I highly recommend.

Nice property for big groups. Good location for skiing out and shuttling back in. Enjoyed our stay.
8.0 / 10.0
My only complaint is the driving instructions were inaccurate. Instructions said GPS wouldn't take us to the property so we followed the instructions. The instructions said there would be a Conoco to make a right hand turn at to get into purport grounds, however the only Conoco in the city was across town. The instructions should have said Sinclair. We would have saved a lot of time if they allowed us to follow GPS because it took us right to the property.

This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our large diverse group. There are 6 actual sleeping areas allowing for privacy of couples. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and a large supply of cookware. It is a very short drive to main street- a little far to walk in the snow but an easy drive.
The hot tub and sauna were well maintained and lovely after a day in the slopes! I had to contact the property manager and he was immediately responsive and helpful.
There were plenty of towels for our group of 12 and the washer and dryer was great too!
We had a wonderful vacation and would 100 times over recommend this for a big group.
This would have been a ski-in ski- out, if we’d come at a different time. The week we stayed peaks 8 and 9 were the only ones open.
(There was also a crib and high chair and booster seats along with board games for those with young children)

The views are to die for. Fairly close to downtown, but feels like you're in the forest. We saw a fox, squirrels and chipmunks. The hot tub was amazing. My nephews practically spent the weekend in the hot tub. The townhome was well stocked. There were however two negatives. The first negative was the bathrooms were dated, and the second negative was mouse poop all over the floor in the bedroom off the garage. We had to vacuumit up. Luckily we never saw a mouse.

Could have been a little cleaner. Something that gives directions on how to operate tv and stuff would be nice. Needs new unstick pots. Could use new mattresses throughout. But it does have plenty of room for lots of people to sleep. The views are amazing. Child gates would be nice on the stairs.

Views are beautiful … the beds need new mattresses… dryer buzzer needs fixing …
Needs new non stick pots and pans . Pictures are deceiving….living room not as big as it looks. Stairs are dangerous for children.

Great spot for a bachelor party
We had 12 guys stay here for 4 nights. Plenty of beds. As other reviews said, be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs. It was ski-out but not ski-in for our group. The ski-out is a steep and narrow path about 30 feet from the unit, not for beginners but not difficult. The ski-in is an advanced Black Trail that our group was not experienced enough to take. The hot tub and sauna worked just fine for us all weekend. We lost power for about 3 hours one day but the host was quick to let us know it was an outage with the power company and not an issue with our unit. It takes 2 busses to get from the unit to the peak 9 base, so learn the routes or rent a van.

Ski/snowboard oriented stay
We throughly enjoyed this property.
The kitchen had more utensils and accommodations than most rentals, that was very nice. (Seasonings, coffee filters, adequate dishwasher detergent)
The access to the slopes was better than most places. It is definitely a ski out, but hike in location. It’s a small hike in, but the uphill walk makes it a cardio workout.
Loved the location and the amount of beds and heated pallets outdoors for the hot tub. Would recommend.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay but a little outdated. The pictures they have on the website of the condo don't quite show you the true size of the condo, i.e. (the size of the kitchen is smaller & the living room isn't that big of a space) & you better be ready for a LOT of steps. The downstairs bedroom had a strong odor in it the whole time. Thinking it's a sewer smell coming out of the trap. Otherwise was a good place to stay for 14 people.

I understand that some things are out of control of the management company, but the communication was terrible. I booked this location because of the hot tub and sauna. Upon arrival we noticed the door to the hot tub was broken and reached out immediately. The management contact brushed me off, and told me it would be fixed in a few days. (We only stayed for three nights.) Maintenance did come but indicated that they would not be able to fix the door that night. The sauna was advertised on the listing, and it does not work. My call to management about this issue was not returned. After my stay, I requested a refund for the missing amenities. She told me the sauna is not advertised, and deleted the picture, even though I have screenshots from the original listing I booked. To be as safe as possible, we bought all food to make at the house. I reached out before arrival to confirm that the propane would be full. When we tried to make dinner, both tanks were empty. Again, my voicemail left unanswered, and we were unable to use any of that food. The layout and location of the house was great for our stay. The views are incredible!! We would have loved to come back to this house, but unfortunately due to lack of communication and issues the management, I cannot recommend this stay.

Great property and manager!
Lauren was super sweet and accommodating! We have a big family with some special circumstances and she was super sweet. The property was big and had plenty of space. Lots of stairs, but good for the kids. For the adults, not many stairs to go up and down due to the master located in the middle. We will be back! Thank you!

Nice rental, room for big groups
This was a nice place. Lots of stairs/levels, but the living areas near the kitchen are large and plenty of people could be together for meals/games and still have room to spread out to sleep. Some updating is needed, but overall, I'd describe as roomy and clean with great views. Also, this is an end unit, so neighbors on one side only. Saw chipmunks, fox, deer, and heard that a bear was just a block away!
