Location was great. Lot of nearby activities. We hard a great time. Highly recommend!
8.0 / 10.0
There were many games for all ages to play. Not much sitting space to have everyone in one spot. Dining room was limited to 8. Lighting in kitchen and large living areas was minimal. Disappointed that Bunk House was not available. A week was enough time to explore surrounding city of Blue Ridge. Found easier route for hairpin turn on Tanglewood, other than GPS.

Cabin was great! Everyone had enough room and was comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect size for our party of 15, plenty of room. We really enjoyed having the separate living room spaces for kids and adults and the game area upstairs.

We loved the place, and it’s extremely big

The cabin itself was great with lots of space. Beds were very comfortable. The only negative was it was not very clean. Beer bottles left behind, bar area was filthy, hair on the bed sheets, and lingerie left behind a bed (discovered while plugging up phone charger). Needs a deep cleaning.

We loved the layout of the home. Beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the stay. There were clean towels folded on each of the beds, but they were still wet, so we had to toss them into the dryer. There were cobwebs on light fixtures and windows. Not too much of a big deal but felt it should be mentioned. One of the biggest issues was the yard was not completely fenced in. We had small dogs and were not able to let them loose in the yard as advertised. That was very disappointing for me. There were 2 gas fireplaces, but i was only able to get one to light. Quiet neighborhood. Great location. Would definitely stay again if the fence is confirmed to be fully enclosed.

Property was great for big family, close to city and plan on staying again in the future.

Given wrong code, door on side not locked, sink leaked in back bathroom, very dusty, door knob kept falling off in bedroom. Other then that really enjoyed our stay

My concern when I arrived was most of the doors were not locked. The blinds in the master bedroom were not attached to the windows and there was a knife on the master bedroom bed. I arrived by myself. Kinda freaked me out! Other than that it was good.

Family group from 3-63 had plenty of room in the property. Even in July we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Fairly well-equipped kitchen; washer & dryer was invaluable with kids. Detached game room was fun for the kids although the Wii wasn't working. About 10 minutes to the middle of the towm of Blue Ridge; convenient t the Toccoa River and Aska area. Only real issue was the challenging street/driveway from Dry Branch Road; steep, curvy and only one narrow lane. Fairly daunting at first but we got used to it; might be a problem in the dark, bad weather or ice. Overall, a good value for the area.

Cabin had not been kept up. Cleanliness was not good. There were spider webs everywhere, windows had not been cleaned, trash outside was over flowing and it smells funny. Several things were broken. Canister light coming out of ceiling. Broken bed upstairs and the key pad up front was the wrong number. Would not stay there again. Needs lots of maintenance and cleaning

We arrived to no electricity due to a storm so cleaning job was substandard. When the electricity came on, we vacuumed the entire place. That is understandable due to the storm. What was not understandable was there are NO ordinary amenities like soap for the showers and extra toilet paper. We were even short a few top sheets. We had to purchase additional washcloths and hand towels until some were delivered the next afternoon. We loved the place for size & location. Service not so much.

This place was so beautiful and had soooo much room, the pictures do it no justice. We went for a birthday getaway and had a great time. Plus it's close to a lot of restaurants!

We did enjoy our stay, because we made the best out of it. There is a couple of things that is a concern. The fire place that is in the front area of the house isn't working. The bathroom downstairs water does not get hot enough and gets cold fast. The firepit outside is really nice, but there need to be more chairs out there because they have holes in the seats so you can not enjoy it like you want. Also, the pullout beds thats in the loft section upstairs is not clean. My daughters would not sleep on them. I didn't mention that the heat wasn't working properly, we tried turning it up but the first night was a little cold.

The listing is identical to the property! This is one of the most spacious homes we have ever stayed in, and it made our stay so much more relaxing. A quick drive from the charming downtown Blue Ridge, but you feel like you’re removed from the hustle and bustle when you are at the cabin. We would return in a heartbeat!

We loved our time here. It was a large house with lots to do! We loved how spread out it was.
The only issue we had was we didn’t know the room with the futon was unattached. We had planned to put our younger boys in that room, but wasn’t comfortable doing so after finding it was a separate building. We were able to make it work in the main house though!

We were impressed with the experience a little bit steep getting to the property but the whole family enjoyed our time together thank you

The pictures were deceiving. Big house but not user friendly. The stairs to the loft were very steep and the top step was 2 inches higher than the others. There was not a closet in the loft or any other place to put clothes. Property was not secure when we arrived. Only the front door was locked. Bathrooms were clean but towels were scarce. Housekeeping did bring more. Beds were clean and comfortable. The house needed some TLC.

The house is huge with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and lots of games are available for all ages. Outdoor decks are plentiful (regretfully we could not use them because they were covered in leaves) Otherwise It was a wonderful stay!

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Clean, exactly as advertised and close to Blue Ridge. We all had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend or visit again. Thank you for everything.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of outdoor & indoor spaces. Hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. Lots of dust/cobwebs indoors & screened in patio was a mess, trash laying around ripped screen door so bugs were inside, corn hole bean bags empty. My sister is allergic to bees & that’s why we chose screened in porch. So couldn’t cornhole or shuffleboard, 2 main reasons we chose it. Not good lighting by shuffleboard. Should be moved to living room. Just wasn’t very inviting at all.

Large Mountain Home.
We enjoyed our stay here. The house is huge and beautifully maintained. It was so nice to just get away and have a low-key family vacation. The house is not far from Downtown Blue Ridge. Very cute town with shops and restaurants. I can't wait to go back again next year.

Very spacious
Lots and lots of room, stayed with 6 other guys and we all had lots of space. The fire pit, grill and corn hole were fun as was the foozeball table - not much of a view compared with some other places, but it really suited our needs well.

A wonderful place to relax !
Communication was very good and helpful. We had everything we needed at the cabin and the game room was a special treat for my son and his fiance...they really enjoyed that ! The beds were comfortable and the linens are top notch. They went the extra mile on pillows as well. We all slept great, and to top it all off we were able to bring our fur kids ! The gas grill worked well, as did the stove and oven. It appears that they are doing some remodeling to bring everything up to date, but for us it was perfect. We hope to come back again in the fall
Thank you Shay, for a great family experience.
Beautiful memories were made !

Couples Retreat
We had a little couples retreat over the weekend. Shay was so responsive to every message from the start of reserving the cabin to the day we left. I will definitely use one of his homes again. The home was beautiful, more than I expected even with all the pictures. It is a perfect cabin for a large group.

This was easy to book and Shay was quick to answer my questions. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Will definitely come back next year.

Comfortable, clean. Relaxing location, close vicinity to restaurants, stores, and hiking.

Needs some improvement
The retreat was very spacious and homey which was what we were looking for as my niece was getting married. The place would have been so much better with a few improvements. The master bedroom has no dresser for clothes,so unless everything is on hangers, it has to stay on the floor. The right hand shower head in the master bathroom only has cold water. There are very limited amounts of silverware and a total of five coffee cups. There is a limited amount of pots and pans and only a single cup coffee maker. The weather turned cold quickly and we were unable to light the gas fireplaces. Since the place is definitely designed for large groups, these details should definitely be looked after to live up to the potential and the fee. If these things were taken care of I would stay again, otherwise would not return for the amount charged.

Beautiful Cabin and Great Location
Me and 8 friends rented this cabin for a weekend white water rafting vacation. The cabin is huge, and the beds were really comfy. We had a great time, it was close to downtown blue ridge and all the roads leading to the cabin were paved. I would love to stay here again!

We visited for a mountain getaway with our dog and our young son, and the property did not disappoint. The house was very spacious and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We would highly recommend.
