Idaho Falls is the company headquarters for Melaleuca which makes a variety of wellness products. There is a store in downtown Idaho Falls where Melaleuca products are available.
The War Bonnet roundup is Idaho’s oldest rodeo and runs the first weekend in August in Idaho Falls. It features a unique event called a “Wild horse race” which features several teams of three individuals penning a horse without a bridle or saddle. The winner is the team that gets a rider on the horse and is able to ride a lap around the arena.
Eastern Idaho State Fair happens the first week of September in Blackfoot, ID (30 minutes south of Idaho Falls).
If you are here in spring through early fall try a horse back ride, gravel bike (road bike with mountain bike tires) ride, or ATV ride with one of the many outfitters around Island Park. If you are here in the winter give snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or fat tire mountain biking a try in Island Park or West Yellowstone with an outfitter. Jackson Hole is world renowned for downhill skiing, however, don’t miss out on the Grand Targhee resort which has epic powder, value priced beginner packages, and seldom has crowds. I’ve provided a list of float and fishing trips above which can all be done unguided, however, if you want to fly fish the snake river a guide/outfitter is highly recommended.
The eastern Idaho fly tying expo runs the each year the first week of April.

This rental was very warm and comfortable. It fit us perfectly and it was very kid friendly.

Thank you, the place was clean and convenient.

We weren't looking for anything extravagant for our stay, but the odor of the place needs a lot of work to say the least. Former owners obviously owned a cat they didn't clean up after. Lingering oder is still an issue.
Sinks in both bathrooms...either didn't give any water at all w/out wrenching on the faucet, or blew water out so hard it soaked the counter and user. We wouldn't stay here again if we come back.

This place was spacious and mostly clean, and the location worked out well for us! It was great to be able to park in the garage since the weather was cold. No scraping ice off of our windows! My biggest complaint was that we didn't have control of the thermostat and it was quite cold. It was snowing for most of our stay. The thermostat was set to 69, but it felt a lot colder. And we have 4 kids, so that was a problem. We also saw a lot of ants, but the owner came and set a few traps which *somewhat* reduced the problem. There was also dog poop all over the backyard, which considering it is a shared yard, was somewhat out of the owners control. But it would still be a deterrent to us staying here again.

The home was delivered as promised. Great accommodations and location. Also, I enjoyed walking in the neighborhood every morning.

I stayed here for about 3 weeks. The location was close to shopping and healthcare facilities. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed - from linens to dishes to paper towels. The property owner was great to work with and quick to respond to anything I needed. Would definitely recommend this property for any length of stay in the Idaho Falls area.

Everything was great, the place was clean, cozy and quiet . We enjoyed the stay . Thank you

Very clean. This met our needs, there are not spices or coffee in house. Beds are not the best. I disliked that I couldn’t control the thermostat. It was set at 71 and locked. It got warm upstairs at night.

Great place
This property was great. Lots of space and very clean. The host was easy to get a hold of and helpful with any questions that I had. My daughter had a softball tournament in Shelley, so it was a little bit of a drive but it was worth it to stay in a comfortable and safe area.

Very nice property.
Nice place. Had everything we needed. The only issue was the cot was broken so we placed the mattress on the floor. Not a big problem.

Needs a new lock system or give renters a key!
This rental has a serious problem. There is a code for the deadbolt on the house and the garage, but the doorknob also locks with a push button on the inside and key on the outside. No key was provided. There was a note not to use the lock on the inside of the door.
About 4 hours before check in I sent a message to get the code to check in as none had been received although the website said it would be provided the day of. About an hour later it came, but when we got to the property the door knob lock was locked. We could not get in. The neighbors told us this was not the first time and wished up luck in contacting the owner. We called many times, but his voice mail was not set up and he did not answer. I messaged through the site, but it took 2 hours for him to respond. We were travelling with a 2 month old baby and needed to prepare formula for her.
In desperation, we finally found an unlocked window and our 3 year old granddaughter crawled in and unlocked the door for us. Thank goodness she is such a smart child.
On the kitchen counter we found a note there were more towels, but they were in the washer and would we please put them in the dryer. There were sheets waiting to be moved too. That does not mean ready for guests to me. Two of the smoke detectors upstairs had their battery covers open and no batteries inside.
The location was as advertised, 10 to 15 minutes from shopping and the zoo, the community playground mentioned was two swings and a slide. A bit disappointing.
We also found the dead bolt lock on the garage broken. The frame on the door looked like someone had kicked it in. The owner came to fix it at some point during our stay, but we parked outside as if you accidentally pushed the button on the doorknob your car would be locked in the garage with no way for you to unlock it. Would not stay again.

Not ready for prime time!
On the surface, this looks like a decent place. We were left with quite the opposite opinion. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned, the past guest garbage was still in the container and the toilet hadn't been cleaned (left quite gross). The linens are old and the overall cleanliness is not good. Light bulbs out all over and the dead ants in the powder room with ant bait on the floor left a very poor impression. I left a note on-site and also communicated with the host, but received nothing in return. I wouldn't normally trash someone, but you reap what you sow... This place seems neglected and poorly managed.

Cute and Comfortable
My family was there as we are in the middle of purchasing a business in Idaho Falls. We wanted the convenience of not being cramped in a hotel room but also being able to cook some meals on own. Only hitch is we are not use to the colder weather so the townhouse felt chilly. The owner controls the thermostat remotely and did turn it up a couple degrees.

It did get a little hot in the night upstairs but other than that the stay was very nice.

Perfect for our needs!
We had family excursions that took us in all directions and was perfectly located no matter which way we needed to go. The facility was spotless, spacious, and contained everything needed. The manager was quick to respond to my many question (this was my first time using VRBO). Thank you, Todd.

Great Townhouse for Girls Trip
We really loved this rental and look forward to staying here again soon. Location was great, unit was private and clean. Would be perfect for a girls trip (like ours) or a family. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances/pots/pans and bathrooms had all new towels. Well kept and great communication with the owner. Check in wasn’t smooth (due to technology issues), but the owner came down and got us all set up and we appreciated his attentiveness.

perfectly! Absolutely loved this place! It fit my family of 6 perfectly and gave us parents privacy way better than staying in a hotel. The price was way better than staying at a hotel too! Very clean and just beautiful
