Terrible hotel and lousy stay.

Room was very small, not at all-like the photos on booking.com. Terrible room layout no space between the bed and wall. Room over kitchen area hearing dishes rattling all day and night. I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room is very small and uncomfortable to walk around in. Bathroom is very crowded and inconvenient. Terrible room and not what is shown in booking.com.

Overall, nice Hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location was truly fantastic, just a quick 5-minute walk to the seaside. The reception was welcoming and the staff were lovely throughout my stay. I was pleased to find that the cleanliness of the hotel met my standards. Overall, it was a great experience.

I must point out that the room I stayed in (516) was in need of some maintenance. The paint was peeling off the walls, and the seals of the shower were in poor condition and definitely required replacement. The handrail was quite loose and felt unsafe to use. Moreover, the carpet was visibly in need of a deep cleaning. Considering the price of the room, I found it to be rather unfair given the maintenance issues. It was disappointing to experience this, especially after being informed that the rooftop bar would be open until 11pm. However, when we arrived around 10pm, there was no drink service or any available amenities, which was quite frustrating. These issues definitely impacted my overall experience during my stay.

Very unpleasant stay. AC didn't work and the hotel was not helpful or accommodating.

The location was good and the room was fine, BUT, the air conditioning didn't work very well at all.

The AC in our room did not cool the room adequately. In a 4 star hotel, one would expect functional air conditioning to make our stay comfortable. We called the front desk multiple times to fix the AC. A man came once, and said he would try to do something. As far as we can tell, he did nothing. I went to the front desk in the evening when our room was 26 degrees celsius according to the Hotel's monitoring system (which they confirmed to me). The person at reception said they would call a repairman for the morning (needless to say, *that* would not solve our problem!). They did not offer to move us to a room that had functioning AC. They repeatedly said to my face, "Our AC system is working well." In our room, it certainly was not working well. 26 degrees at night is not 4 star hotel AC! In the end, at checkout, the manager offered us a 10% discount on our room. Personally, I think a 100% discount would have been in order. I cannot fault the front desk staff for the fact that our AC didn't work, but they were not particularly accommodating. I would strongly caution against booking a room in this hotel.

Fine hotel close to all interesting spots in Bari.

Very good localisation. Tasty breakfasts. Nice and helpful personnel.

Room was quite small for relative high price, so if you have more than one suitcase you'll probably have a problem with finding place for it (standard room).

The location is excellent. breakfast is very good and various. The facility is clean and well taken care of

I felt very bad and the receptionist was not nice and understanding of my needs. Nobody could help me with watching any international channel like CNN or others.

Good location. The hotel is located in a historic building, 5 minutes from the promenade, 10 minutes from the old town. There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel.

Very poor soundproofing of the room. It is difficult to sleep because of the noise in the street. The minibar contained food and rubbish from previous guests. Not very comfortable bed. Uncomfortable pillows. Not very clean in the room. Uncomfortable shower.

Excellent place to stay & enjoy Bari

It is sensational. very comfortable, with every amenity. Central located between the old city & shopping precinct. Would be my first pick if I get back to Bari. Fabulous breakfast

Rooms were lovely and the breakfast was really lovely, friendly and obliging staff

The room was too hot, we turned down the temperature but it wouldn't go lower than 16, the maid told us to ring to reception. We did this and were told there was no AC and to turn off the heat. We did this but it was still really hot so we left the window open but it was very noisy as we were in a kind of Atrium/Courtyard and the sound carried from the other rooms. We found out when we were checking out that there was AC as the receptionist asked us about our trip.

We would love to return. The location of this hotel in Bari is excellent - really close to all.

The hotel has a nice foyer and lovely staff. The rooms are a little bit small but have all facilities and a good sized shower. There are coffee making facilities in the room and adequate space for clothes, luggage and all. The rooms got a bit hot because of very good central heating. The staff were very helpful to try to reduce this. No view from our room. However there is a roof terrace which is lovely. The breakfast is superb. The location of this hotel is excellent. Really close to the lungomare, to the main shopping street, to the main restaurant street and to the old part of Bari.

Just the heat in the room but it was sorted.

Very good location.

The location was particularly good for us. we arrived by train and it was just an easy walk to the hotel. It is near all the shops, the old town and the sea. Many very good restaurants and bars are close by. Bari was a good centre for sightseeing around the area. Good breakfast.

The room was very small. No kettle. The worse thing for me was that we were next to a staff only room which contained machinery of some kind, to do with the air conditioning perhaps? It was a constant low level noise. If we'd had the air conditioning on perhaps I wouldn't have been aware of it.

The location was great. Right next to the old city.

Shower smaller than airplane toilets. Even less... Rooms facing main road are very noisy an windows needs to stay closed at all times.

Loved my stay.

The location was excellent and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The facilities were in great state. Breakfast was good.

Hair dryer didn't work and the bathroom sink was a bit clogged. More pillows would have been nice, we only got one per person. The size of the room was small for two people to walk around without bumping into each other.
