The cottage was very clean and well maintained. It had pretty much everything that we needed. We enjoyed the location, as the four of us were there to see family. If we come out that way again, we definitely will stay at this cottage if it is available. Thank you for the very nice experience!

What a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage just doors from my parents’ house in Pickens! Sandra and Bill have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and even added in some nice extras, like scones for breakfast and a present for our family under the tree! It was the perfect setting to allow us to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family in my sweet

Sandra is great. Place was super clean. Lots of nice touches upon arrival. Would definitely stay there again or recommend to anyone.

The property was as super clean as we expected from the description. The hosts provided the expected amenities plus many other nice touches like snacks, chocolates, coffee, and spices. The exterior photo online doesn't do the property justice as it is wooded with a very sweet front porch perfect was enjoying bird songs and quiet mornings and evenings. The hosts were available but not intrusive. We loved our stay.

Sandra went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. From explaining the home’s cleaning process in detail to providing thoughtful snacks and a card at check in, her hospitality is impeccable. The home was clean and well-appointed, and located near many state parks that we wanted to visit during our stay. We had a great trip and I told Sandra she should open some other rental properties across SC! She does a wonderful job. Highly recommend for a clean and quiet stay. Thanks again.

We have stayed at many other VRBO homes and this one was off the charts for cleaniness and very well stocked and had everything that one may need during our vacation. The area is very quiet and very nice. Our Host Sandra met us upon arrival and what a great person she went out of her way to make sure we were very comfortable..Love, Love everything about this place and we will rent it again...Thanks again Sandra

Only negatives were having to provide pictures of Driver's Licenses to book, and a little too much communication from the owner, who texted and emailed outside of going through VRBO

Everything in this cottage was wonderful from every standpoint. Super clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our Thanksgiving stay to visit family. The fresh scones were a nice touch, especially as we made it in late!

You won't find a cleaner, more beautifully decorated home in this area for sure! We went for a quick getaway from the Lowcountry and, while the foliage wasn't ready to wow us, this gorgeous little home sure did! From the time that we took off our shoes at the doorway until we closed the door on this home, we were totally relaxed and pleased. Easy, but secure entry and exit, no carpet to offend allergies, and plenty of decorator touches showed the pride the owners have in this property! The personal touches that awaited us upon arrival made the stay special for us. Thanks to Sandra and Bill for your efforts in making our stay memorable!

When we arrived at the cottage, the exterior of the property was breathtaking. Fully decorated for fall, the flower garden, front porch, and rear deck made us feel that we had found our second home. The owners, Sandra and Bill, dropped by to welcome us and even offered to assist with unloading the car. They made us promise to call, not text, if we needed anything at all. We could not wait to see inside the house, and used our secure code to enter. What we found inside was amazing. We have traveled far and wide during our lives, and this cottage was by far the cleanest we have ever seen. The house is so well laid out and furnished with both style and comfort in mind. So many little personal touches added to the “homey” feeling. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, so Sandra and Bill had left us a card, some cider, and a bottle of wine to enhance our stay. There was hot chocolate, bottled water, a variety of snacks, and breakfast fare in the freezer. The spacious master bedroom provided us the room we needed, and the mattress was like floating on a cloud. I just can’t describe how clean this house was—-there are no words. We ended each day with time set aside for the rear deck. The comfortable seating and wooded privacy was so relaxing. We just can’t wait to return to the cottage and are already planning our next trip. Thanks, Sandra and Bill, for being such amazing hosts!

The property is extremely clean and comfortable, located near downtown Pickens and a short drive to Easley. This gave us access to restaurants, Table Rock, and to our home being built at the Reserve on Lake Keowee. The kitchen has what is needed to cook and serve meals. It is a great long term stay location as well as for a long weekend to visit the beautiful area, Sandra and Bill were always available if needed - great hosts.

I rented this property for approximately a month due to work. The owner was very accommodating and a pleasure to meet. Always a quick answer if a question arose. The home was in pristine condition, very clean, with comfortable beds. As I worked nightshift, the neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, day and night. Anything you need is just a short drive away. I look forward to returning once work sends me here again!!

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was definitely the cleanest place we have stayed. The hosts were so welcoming and had a hot chocolate basket, apple cider and breakfast items in the freezer for us. They even put up a Christmas tree and gave my boys each a small gift! So kind of them! We had the best time hiking at Paris mountain and exploring downtown Greenville and biking the swamp rabbit trail. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sandra and Bill for your hospitality.

A Home Away From Home
The first obvious attribute to the cottage is its top-notch cleanliness. Everything we touched or used was spotless. This is a huge draw in getting us to return.
We cooked our breakfast meals and one of our dinner meals in the home. It was nice that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.
There were little touches throughout the home that made it so extra special. We feel like the owners really try to think of creative ideas that would make our stay extra special.
The home is located within an easy drive to the hiking trails we had on our agenda. Plus, there are several restaurants nearby making trips out for food super convenient.
The only negative to the amazing experience was the steep cleaning fee - especially for the amount of work you're asked to do upon checkout.
We definitely will return as we loved the home, the owners were super attentive, and the experience as a whole made for a perfect getaway.

This is my 2nd time in 3 weeks staying at this very cozy home. Sandra and William really strive for excellence at VRBO Hosts. If you need a place to stay for a weekend Clemson game or just find Small Town USA, this is it. Very private yard and well appointed home.

Peace of mind
I was coming to the small town of Pickens South Carolina to assist my daughter’s family who was moving there from Los Angeles. I did not find any of the common chain hotels close so I gave Vrbo a shot and I was extremely pleased. Sandra will be a super host I am sure. The house was small but yet spacious inside with vaulted ceilings at the kitchen and living room. There were 2 full Baths and 2 bedrooms plus a sitting room. The decor was very fresh and smart, recent total remodel and the home was well stocked with a full laundry, bath linens, coffee, some snacks and even breakfast starters. The exterior of the home was cozy cottage style with a front and back porch for relaxing in the evening. The lot is also much more than the pictures show. The back, side and even most of the front yard are hemmed in with evergreen trees and nice landscape for privacy.
The home sits in a small quiet neighborhood minutes from town yet right off of 2 lane rambling roads to Travelers Rest or Pumpkintown S.C. Best of all, it was less than a mile from the house my daughter rented while her home in Travelers Rest is renovated. This place is a hidden gem.

Perfect for our needs
We needed a place to stay for a couple nights in the area as there are no hotels near by. Coyote Cafe is one of our favorite coffee and sandwich spots so we were thrilled to be so close. The house was just as described, very clean and neat. Lots of little goodies to be found and well thought out. Hosts were very friendly, quick and easy to communicate with. Will keep in mind for the future. Thanks for having us!
