Adjoining rooms with my son, daughter-in-law and my grandson. Their unit had a full kitchen, fireplace and a queen size bed and pull out bed which was perfect for the 3 of them. Our unit was very small but fit our purposes of a place to sleep and close to our family
What I didn't like was the booking fee Vacasa charged us for each room - $500.00 was a ridiculous fee and thought since I am an elite member of Bonvoy Marriott Credit card that it was a service offered through them. This was awful to have to pay $1,000 for a booking fee when I could have booked directly with hotel. Also, I asked for several weeks to get an early check in as my daughter was getting married on Friday, June 23rd at 4:00p.m. and asked if we could check in at 2:00p.m. - no one from Vacasa was able to confirm this for us - very upsetting that I spent a $1,000 in a booking fee and did not get any assistance. This is a formal complaint to you that this is unacceptable and want to be provided with a refund of this ridiculous fee - call me at 847-721-9905 or my work number 847-398-4151. Belinda Rosenberger

The room flooded. It poured all night and we notified Vacasa that night. They said they would get ahold of maintenance. The next morning the entire floor was flooded. it was wet, damp. we had no power. it was unlivable! we had to check out. Again, all in communication with Vacasa and it is the way we were told to handle the situation, as Granlibakken is not responsible for the damage of a property. The manager of it is. Well- we checked out and had to find another place to stay. I was just told we are not receiving ANY reimbursement. This is unbelievable. If we had booked this with Granlibakken, they would've put us in another room. I have not had an issue with booking.com in the past, so this was a HUGE disappointment. I am requesting reimbursement!

What breakfast? The location was great.
The room was filthy when we arrived, the floors were badly stained and the unit was very outdated. There was crumbs and a sock in the bedsheets and hair in the shower. The coffee maker was broken and the fridge didn’t work well. The drawers were mostly broken.

It could have been the room in the photo ! Then the code was not sent to me because in your world everyone has perfect internet and in the real world crossing Nevada does not had to stress and call your people twice🙃

Only bright spot was consistent internet access.
Calling these accommodations a studio is a gross exaggeration - it is at best a small hotel room. The booking photos are not in any way related to the actual space. The promised seating area was non-existent unless you count the wooden chair shoved in the corner. In-room information was minimal; an ice bucket was provided but no information on where to get ice. A coffee maker was provided but no cups or supplies to actually make coffee. We are still trying to figure out what the $200 plus cleaning fee was intended to cover, I have paid half that amount to clean a 2500 sq ft house with a kitchen and 3 bathrooms, We suspect it is used to make the cost appear lower as it did not appear in the booking estimate and was only shown after financial information was provided and booking completed. In our opinion a highly unethical business practice,

The location
The picture did not match the room. It was a false advertisement. There was no kitchenette, no couch, 2 toilet paper rolls for 2 people for 3 nights, no Kleenex tissue. The host called us to go to the market. The host told us not to communicate with the Granlibakken hotel. We are completely disappointed with the false representation of the room. We want some reimbursement on the price of the room for the lack of amenities described from the advertisement. Thanks.
