Nice family getaway location

- Choice of activities: swimming pool, saunas, badminton, nordic sticks, running on the grass. kids had a lot of fun; - Very good quality for the breakfast. We have not tried dinner buffet but it also looked good and very nice price; - Premises: sauna area was renovated, we liked that it has a lot of rooms but it was also great that rooms building is located on the hill with the amazing view of the lake In general we really liked in there and definitely want to return.

- It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room but maybe it goes beyond 3* hotel; - Rooms are in quite old building and somehow i had a difficulty to find a socket. The only one i found was covered by a bed so needed to move it in order to use. - The hook was missing which helps to keep the front door open However honestly these are very minor things.

We will never stay there in the future.

Surrounding nature.

We asked a room for a physically challenged, but got a room where the car had to be left far away and route to room had a steep slope. We made the reservation Aug 16th for Sep 30th, so well in advance. Room had broken curtains, one screw was missing from door handle and the other one was loose, bulb burned in room and shower floor should be cleaned. We had to wait almost one hour to get the main course, when arriving to restaurant there was customers only in 2 tables. Breafast tables was not cleaned, everyone carried dishes to trollets, but nobody wiped the tables. Some of the personnell was friendly, some didn’t care, obviously they were short staffed. We was not brave enough to check the spa.

The only thing good about this place is the mist shower and the different sauna experiences.

the stuff was impolite. I almost got fooled when they tried to charge me more for the dinner Buffet. swimming pool full of hair. they you don’t get the bracelet for the spa until the opening time, and you have to queue too long to get it. No bath room for the kids. less than average room.

A little outdated experience

The location was very nice by the lake. The spa was nice with a proper swimming pool to actually swim and exercise and a few other pools as well. It has been renovated quite lately.

It was way too hot in the room (Rinnetalo), which of course is understandable without any air conditioning. There were bugs (all kinds of insects, spiders, silverfish etc.) in the room and the smoke of cigarettes flew in from the other balconies. There was no soap in the toilet and the staff quite reluctantly helped us to get a new bottle. Although the location was beautiful and there is a lot of potential, it needs a lot more maintenance to become neat and tidy - both in and out. For example the playground looks like nothing has been done to it for decades and the yard is in the need of serious gardening. Yet, everything is okayish, but not worth 140 euros for one night stay.

Pleasant

The property has a great location on the lake.

The room was dark and old. We were only given three towels for 4 people and asked to Keep our towels for the entire stay. Which is not so convenient when visiting a spa each day. We had trouble communicating with some staff as there English was not so good. They were very busy and had only one staff member in the spa. At least two were needed. If you pay more you get a nicer room of course however if looking for a nice spa for the same price for the family we would recommend Pori or Käsnäs spa’s (same price but higher standard of Rooms). The breakfast Was good.

Frosty weekend in the countryside

The resort is nice and big enough — just by the lake, wonderful place for families with kids and pets! Amazing spa facilities — modern and various. Fantastic a la carte dishes for dinner. Good breakfast selection, though I had to rewash the salad leaves.

One of the girls at the reception was not speaking English too well, so we had to switch to my poor Finnish.
