What's nearby:
This convenient escapade is located just one and a half miles from Tahoe City which boasts many restaurants, galleries, shops, and nightlife. For the skiers in the group, you are just six miles from exclusive resorts such as Homewood and eight miles to Squaw Valley or Alpine Meadows for skiing and snowboarding. Summer visitors will also have endless activities to try, including the many hiking and biking trails, and enjoy concerts at Commons Beach. Golfers will be thrilled by the close proximity to Tahoe City Golf Course, which is only one and a half miles away. Lake Tahoe is a short walk away, offering endless attractions and things to do no matter the season you decide to visit. Summertime brings fishing, boating, paddleboarding, biking, jetskiing, and more!
Things to know:
Please note that WiFi can be slow due to our being a mountain town. Lake Tahoe is a mountain town. Our internet signal is different than in big cities. When there is not a lot of people in town, the internet is high-speed. As the town fills up and people stream, the internet will ebb and flow.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 2.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great, clean room with an excellent location. We will book again if/when we return to Tahoe

- The pull out bed was broken and management knew it was because there was one already ordered.
- Non working phone and Alexa.
- Dirty tissue behind a nightstand.
- Non working food processor sink.
- Non working TV.
The list goes on. The property and location were great but the place was not what was advertised.
I am waiting to get my money back.

If the AC was working/fire alarm had efficient battery, we would have enjoyed our stay much more. Overall it was a good place in a great location! Quiet at night, a bit dated interior but cozy overall.

Good location, clean, great service. Thanks

This place is great. Nothing fancy but had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful to walk around. Night time was quiet to be able to sleep. Close to everything we did. Our host was as very responsive. Would stay here again.

This was such a perfect spot for our “Tour of Tahoe” vacation. The bed is super comfy. The location is just right for those who want to wander and explore Tahoe as well as visit Palisades and Alpine Meadows.

Great room & location for our Palisades Tahoe ski trip. We enjoyed the room, the gym, and the hot tub. We will definitely try to stay here again when we return to Tahoe.

The property itself was fine and in a cute, quiet community, but a lot of little things that were off about the studio added up.
It's a little bit dated, and my partner who never gets allergies was dealing with sneezing, coughing, and congestion each morning when we woke up. The small heater in the corner took about 24 hours to heat to a comfortable temperature. The extra fees we were charged on completing the booking added almost $300 to the final price for a four night stay. The kitchen sink sprays everywhere when turned on. I tried contacting Vacasa with a question about the fireplace. A laminated note said that reception would provide one log a day for the fire place. We never got any logs, and I contacted Vacasa on who to ask, and they never responded. The booking site says that the community reception doens't service the studio, but notes around the apartment said to contact them in case of problems. It was unclear whether the reception serviced our studio or whether only Vacasa could help, but Vacasa never got back to me to answer my question. None of those things were huge issues to us, but all together they made for a so-so experience overall.

Cute and well equipped little apartment near Commons beach

Ready when we got there- clean- few spots on rug- COZY- plenty big enough for the 2 of us. Kitchen nice and well stocked with essentials
Only complaint is no firewood, even though we contacted vrbo and that is the main reason I booked this one so we could snuggle in front of the fire.

Upon arriving we were shocked to learn our studio that we were paying $350 a night for had no air conditioning and the indoor temperature was literally 87F. We cancelled our second night and left by 7AM because we were so miserable and unable to sleep in the heat.
Hidden within the "resort fee" is actually a $200 cleaning fee but they were clearly reusing single use items like dish soap (our soap bottle had crusted and dried soap all over). We booked through Priceline and while the dollar values for the fees are the same via Booking.com, they are described quite differently. This essentially hid what we were paying for from us.
In the winter this would be a much nicer place, but I feel like we were robbed.
As I said above, we rented through Priceline thinking this was a room within the hotel but were surprised to find it is essentially an Airbnb. Not a big deal, but it wasn't obvious to us and when emails from both Booking.com and Vacasa showed up we were confused.
