Stayed here for a girls trip. We were a group of 11. Most of the beds are doubles so probably can’t actually sleep 12 unless you’re a kid or on the smaller side. The way the beds are arranged requires one person to crawl over the other to get out of bed since they’re pushed up against the wall. (Not a dealbreaker but something to consider for guest comfort).
As others have mentioned, feels bigger than it looks in the photos.
The bathrooms were ok. To break it down: there’s 1 half bath indoors, 1 full bath indoors, and 1 toilet in a shed with the laundry machine.
Reason for Lowe rating is Vacasa who are kind of the worst. Not sure I’ve ever had a good Vacasa experience, so wasn’t all that surprised that my stay here was more of the same. Half the rooms didn’t have pillowcases on the bed and none anywhere in the house. We had to call them late at night to get them and their response was, “if you checked in last night, why are you just calling about it now?” Nice, Vacasa.
For the price I would have expected pretty excellent host management, but communication was next to non-existent. But assuming you have no issues, you won’t need to contact them anyways
Great location near lots of restaurants.
More guidance on ferry details would’ve been helpful.

This was our 3rd trip to Fire Island and this house was by far our favorite! Perfect size for group of 8 (3 families). All rooms were a good size with comfortable mattresses. 2nd half bathroom was helpful to have as well. Up to date kitchen with large table for dinners and games. Outside porch was also perfect for hanging out in the afternoons and evenings. Would definitely book again!

I stayed in this home with my family (wife, two toddlers age one and three, and my French bulldog) during the middle June. I can’t express properly how amazing this property was but I’ll try.
The house is located is a quiet family centered part of fire island away from the teens and commotion - the beach and town was so quant and calm and lovely. This house is under a two minute walk from the restaurants and ice cream parlor and five minutes walk from the beach. Location truly couldn’t be better. The main town is a short 25 min walk but we only went to refill on some groceries we needed.
Bring protein as the markets don’t have much but they have all else like vegetables and snacks and such.
The house was clean. The bedrooms were spacious and perfect. Two outdoor showers and one indoors was perfect. We mainly showered outside as it was so nice. Great grill, well sized kitchen and new appliances.
More than anything our house manager Carrie was out of this world. Helped bring fresh towels regularly and even offered to walk my dog while we were at the beach. She was so helpful and responsive instantly upon texting her for anything we needed. I’m grateful she was assigned to us and she made the trip so perfect.
Thanks to you all - we will be coming back to this house next year and likely make it a new family tradition. Such a perfect week away from home.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was set up perfectly for two families traveling together. The beds were comfy and we loved the outdoor showers. There were only two bikes for 9 of us so we ended up renting. There were also not enough beach chairs and some were not in great shape. The fridge in the kitchen needed to be replaced and there were not enough coffee cups and dishes.

The house had very nice decor but was dirty. AC units, carpets, thro pillows, grill.filthy. Many things broken, esp bikes and outdoor chairs, simple hooks by showers. Not enough cookware. NO BLOW DRYER! Alot of standing water under the house and laundry room. Management said they would come back to throw sand on water. They did not.

Pros: The decor is very nice. Rooms are stocked with both bath/beach towels. There is AC in every room. Lots of room on the deck & 2 outdoor showers were fantastic!
CONS:
The house came with 4 bikes but only 1 was working. It wasn't great for our large party that only 1 person at a time could go for a ride.
On the 1st evening, we wanted to start dinner & the gas tank was close to empty. Luckily, we got through dinner, but I had to text and was given the option of "purchasing a new tank" and sending in a receipt for reimbursement. Fortunately, someone locally was contacted and a full tank was dropped off the next morning.
The1st morning we were looking forward to the beach but noticed there was not a beach umbrella. A house with room for 12 people should come equipped with at least 2 umbrellas, so the fact that there wasn't even one was unexpected and inconvenient. Again, we needed to reach out and wait for a delivery. We got the umbrella the next day. Strangely, on our 4th day, the umbrella was missing from the deck. We've summered on FI before and nothing like this has ever happened. We don't know where the umbrella disappeared to, we called and explained, and were told another one would be dropped off. It never was, so we spent 4 of our 7-day vacation without an umbrella. Not the worst thing to happen, but it did mean we spent less time at the beach because the sun was just too strong. Overall, we enjoyed the house, but definitely not a 5 star experience.

Fantastic house in a great location. Everything is clean and comfortable. The house has more supplies than expected from the listing such as blender, toaster, cooking supplies, and a large igloo cooler.

This was our second year in this home and it is just spectacular!!! We’re making it an annual thing now!!! The house is perfect - huge, comfy, quiet, close to the beach, ferry, and restaurants!!! The management is amazing - always avail and fast to respond. The bikes are always a huge hit - my kids love the freedom to just ride around everywhere - super safe area and everyone we encounter is friendly and kind. If I could live here - I would!! We love, love, love it!!

the house was exactly as we hoped it would be!

The property was spacious, well laid out with lots of privacy. We did need to contact the manager since it was a cold weekend and bedrooms were quite chilly. They responded and provided space heaters to supplement. Even though it rained almost constantly the property was a cheerful place to be. I would suggest grab bars in the shower for a more stable feel. I would rent this again.

We had 12 people and fit perfectly in here. It actually felt bigger inside than the photos looked, which is rare! 1.5 bathrooms inside and two outdoor showers were a plus. AC's worked great in every room, including the living room. Perfect location a few steps from the market, Flynn's and the Schooner Inn, and a 5-minute walk to the beach. We'll be coming back!

Our stay with 4 adults and 5 kids was absolutely perfect. The house was immaculate and very well-appointed. Plenty of bedrooms to spread out and the location in Ocean Bay Park is so convenient, just a short walk from ferry, restaurants, a market and, of course, the beach. We would have loved to stay longer!

Beautiful Home Bad management
The home we stay was beautiful. I wish that that the management was more responsive and understanding. I understand that this may have been a new rental for them and things not being prefect but not getting back to me 2-3 days about issues was not acceptable in my books.
