About this house rental
The house has a fantastic wrap around deck as well as a large wooded back yard with firepit. Swing and yard games. Grill and plenty of seating!

Newly renovated and upgraded kitchen and dining area with open floor plan. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cooking a meal at home. Keurig, Gevalia Coffee Maker, Toaster Oven, Toaster, Electric Kettle, Crockpot and many other amenities. Feel free to ask if the house is equipped with something specific.
Comfortable living area with large flatscreen adjacent to a game room.
Game Room - Full Futon Large Flat Screen TV with Arcade Game system (3300 games). Darts & Board Games. Open the barn doors to make the game room a part of the living space or close the doors and let the kids play. (There is a ping pong table in the basement with a Bluetooth enabled speaker light to add to the fun.)
All Bedrooms have NEW mattresses!
2 Full newly renovated bathrooms.
1st Bedroom - King bed with comfortable reading nook (wireless charging station), flat screen smart tv, direct access to renovated full bath.

We have provided the following amenities for your convenience…shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, paper towels, cleaning products, toilet paper, Tide pods, fabric softener, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap. Towels, sheets, blankets, hand towels, kitchen towels are provided for each room/guest.

Pricing is set by occupancy per stay. This allows smaller parties to stay at an affordable price. Occupancy starts at 4. Each additional guest over 4 is $20 per night. The house is located very close to White Face Mountain so it's super convenient for all things in Wilmington as well as an easy, gorgeous drive to Lake Placid.
Our family of four adults had plenty of room. The game room area would be fun for kids. The fire pit area is nice and there is a nice amount of seating by the fire.
The host was easy to reach and was very quick and helpful when we had a small issue.

Whether you decide to play a video game, a challenging game of ping- pong, relax on the comfortable couches, sit around the fire or swing and spin on the disk swing, your family is bound to have a great time in the Adirondacks at this super clean house. There was a big table for Yahtzi and family dinners. You'll sleep well on the many super comfortable beds and enjoy smores by the fire. Everyone had the space they needed to have fun and relax. Located near many fun activities! The owner was fanominal to communicate with for even the smallest needs. The multiple coffee and tea pots were helpful and using the fully stocked kitchen made family dinners more fun and inexpensive. Our family would choose this house again for any future trips!

We had a wonderful long weekend enjoying the outdoors. We loved lounging around on the balcony and in the yard. The kids loved the video games and ping pong table!

As soon as my friends and I arrived, we knew we were going to have a great time. There is so much to do at the house. It was so quiet at night and in the morning you could hear the wildlife in the area. We had a great time!

We visit family every Thanksgiving holiday who live in the ADK as we come in from NJ. Our family was actually familiar with this property and assured us ahead of time that we would be fine during our stay.
We absolutely loved it! Spacious, accommodating, fully equipped, easy property management and cozy all around.
We will definitely be coming back to this place and how wonderful it was to feel like we were home while we were away!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The weather was absolutely ideal, best we ever had Fishing was excellent!. The house was close to perfect. Master bedroom was huge, the king bed was super comfortable and the adjoining bathroom was superb. The bunk room where my brother stayed was OK, but the only way to watch TV was by being in a bed. It would benefit from having a chair in that room to sit. Also, the lower bunk bed was not made with sheets. The third bedroom was very nice, but a bit cramped. Downstairs the whole area was terrific, giant TV, fully equipped kitchen, and a game room. Only suggestion we have is to expand the instruction sheet on the operation of the dishwasher. We were three old guys who were a bit clueless on using a fancy automatic dishwasher. We had some trouble figuring on how to start the wash cycle. I called Walter and he came over later in the day with a dish drainer and some dish towels. In the meantime, one of us finally figured out how to start the the cycle, so it was operator error. We enjoyed our conversation with "One Eyed" Walter and he was so nice and friendly. All in all, we had a truly wonderful stay, and would be happy to return. Thank you.

Nice home for family visit for a Adirondack vacation. Close to Lake Placid, High Falls, hiking and fishing. May have to come back in the winter to ski!

This property was phenomenal! Extremely clean and equipped with all the amenities. The yard itself was great for outdoor games, hanging out by the campfire, or enjoying the weather from the large deck that wraps around 50% of the house. Conveniently located about ~20 min from Lake Placid and only ~10 min from Whiteface. There is also a gas station and tiny grocery store 2 min down the street. Dawn is extremely friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this place to any group traveling to the Adirondacks. We certainly would stay at this property again in the future. Thank you!!!

This was our very first VRBO rental and boy did we luck out! Beautiful, spacious home with all the amenities! Our kids loved the swing outside, the game room inside and the ping pong table in the basement. I loved everything about this house - but especially when family gathered around the fire pit at night. The added lights on the piles made for the perfect ambiance. Will definitely book again!

We rented this property for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay with our 3 children.
The house was clean and comfortable yet lacked in lighting especially in the family room. We all loved the game room - Pac-Man machine and ping pong. The dining table was a bit wedged in to the dining area but they made use of the space. The outdoor fire pit was pretty with the lights and chairs convenient and perfect for s’mores.
Beds were comfortable! The lower bunk didn’t have a ton of head room but fine for sleeping.
Kitchen was small yet convenient, recently updated nicely.
This house is off a main road but set back enough. our dog wandered a bit too close to the road at times so keep in mind when bringing pets.
Having the shed to store our bikes was also convenient but would be good to have a working lock. We just locked our bikes together as one to make us feel better as we were robbed before at a different rental property.
Overall great house and would definitely consider renting again.

Although this home is on a highway, it is completely private. All the rooms are generously sized for a large family. (We had 8 in our party.) It was spotless and very well equipped. When I needed to make a late change to the reservation, the hostess was very gracious. I highly recommend this home.

The pictures don't give you the true size of the living area. Nice linens, games, coffee station, deck, fire pit. We had to reach out to Walter for a toilet issue and he quickly responded. So relaxing, we were sad to go home.

The house was very clean with well stocked kitchen and complimentary laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, conditoner and lotion. There were plenty of blankets and pillows to keep warm. Location is very convenient-- just 8 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, 1 mile from the post office and 1 mile from a small supermarket and gas station. The house has a big yard for the kids to play in the snow. We loved everything about the house and the host, Dawn was really nice, helpfull and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Let me start by saying that the photos do this home no justice! It was absolutely beautiful!
As a frequent renter in Lake Placid, I have to say this was absolutely the most immaculate house weve ever rented. I typically have to sweep and do a general wipe down upon arrival, but, absolutely no need here! I was incredibly impressed.
The house is very spacious. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee(all bundled up!). We were a party of 2 adults, 1 child (age 3) and 2 small dogs. We had more than enough room and could have fit another family comfortably. The furniture was comfortable and there were options of cable, or, plenty of streaming services.
Again, I was incredibly impressed with this rental when we saw how well stocked it is! Every rental we have encountered is always pretty well stocked kitchen and linen wise. However, these owners really anticipated travel needs with everything from dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, paper towels, plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips and so much more! Being that the houses typically arent well stocked, we brought all of that with us, but we really liked the touch the owners added with the thoughtfulness and hospitality. The game room/Pac man machine were a big hit for our 3 yr old. It was also well stocked with board games and darts.
The house was about a 25 minute drive to town. Approximately 15 mins fron Stewarts and a couple local restaurants (our absolute fave is the Country Bear & it was less than 5 mins by car!) The purpose of our trip was taking our 3 yr old to North Pole (Santas Workshop) which was a quick 5-7 min drive from the house. All in sll, we felt it was a very convenient location.
Check in was super easy, communication with Dawn was responsive and enjoyable, and we have absolutely zero complaints about this home. We have definitely found our new favorite Lake Placid rental!

We took our kids and joined some friends in a hiking trip. This home was our "base camp" and it worked out really well. There were four adults and five kids in all. We had everything we needed and enough space for everyone to sleep. The one item we couldn't find but wished we could was oven mitts.
