About this apartment rental
This Slopeside 2 story condo is located in the highly desired Bee Branches with views of Grandfather Mountain. The location is one of the best on the mountain for skiing in the winter and down hill mountain biking in the summer. We are located directly along side the slopes. This condo is within walking distance to all ski and bike lifts, ticket booths, ski schools, ski lodge, snow tubing, and ice skating. It’s about a five minute walk to the first ski lift. If you are a beginner skier or have kids that are learning to ski or snowboard, this location is one of the best as it is closer to the base of the mountain (not leaving you at the top of the mountain on more advanced trails to start your day).
This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath condo sleeps 8, has vaulted ceilings with a balcony nestled amongst the trees with views of Grandfather Mountain while overlooking the "Easy Street" green trail. There is a relaxing, tranquil running mountain stream just below. Spacious and comfortable with a TV in every room, WiFi, washer, and dryer in the condo and outdoor grilling area. No need to drive anywhere unless you are looking for other things to do.
Recently renovated condo with a beautiful new kitchen designed with a farmhouse sink, all new appliances, granite countertops and new flooring. Newly renovated bathrooms. No AC
This is a No Smoking condo. Home is not childproof-children must be monitored at all times. There is one set of stairs in the condo without a baby gate, no childproof locks on cabinets or windows.

Loved the location of this slope side condo. Perfect for our family of four. When the grown ups were done skiing, we could sit on the balcony and watch our teenage boys ski the evening away. The kitchen was well stocked for us to do a little cooking. The condo satisfied all our needs and was conveniently located for hiking or skiing. The owner was great at communicating with us! We hope to visit again soon.

Great location for access to the slopes. We debated this location and one at the top of Oma's Meadow at Sugar Ski and Country Club.
After being there, I'm very glad we went with this option. The green trails near this condo are perfect for the beginning of the day, easy to end the day at after catching the last lift ride up, and easy to buy lift tickets and the lodge.
I highly recommend this VRBO!

The hostess provided great information for the house.

This condo is perfect for a ski trip especially with young kids or beginner skiers. It is located on the easiest slope. Walk just outside to grab the lift or get to the clubhouse. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked. Nice to make a pot of soup and walk back “home” for a lunch break. Condo is definitely older but well kept. This and is a very easy drive from the base of sugar mountain and close to club house by car as well- no narrow winding roads and not too
High up. Easy to book and excellent communication with the host.

A beautiful, cozy condo. Well equiped and right on the slopes. 4 x queens beds provided plenty of accommodation for us and our 4 children. Heating throughout kept is nice and warm. The fill kitchen allowed is to prepare a full Christmas lunch with ease.
Easy access to childcare and lessons. We were able to pull off the slope and duck back to the condo for a break and snacks when we needed.
Highly recommend.

This condo was nothing short of amazing. The condo building itself is older and she did a very nice job updating it. The kitchen was fully stocked for everything you’d need. The location was right by the ski lift and you could walk to every amenity on Sugar mountain. Jennifer was very quick to respond to any messages/questions/concerns I had. We will definitely stay here again!

We visited in autumn to see the leaves changing in the mountains, and we definitely want to come back when there is snow on the ground. The location is fantastic, right on the slopes. The condo itself was beautiful, roomy, and cozy!!! Everything you needed was already there, it was great to not have to make a run to the store for soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Check-in was a breeze, and the owner was very responsive to any inquires from me. This was truly a home away from home and we can't wait to come back!!!

The place was clean, and set up exactly as the photos show. It was the perfect place for a fall weekend away. Octoberfest was happening at the Sugar lodge and we could walk back and forth, enjoy the chairlift for hiking, and the music carried up the mountain.
The location would also be ideal for skiing. The owner was responsive. The unit was clean and ready for us.

We had a great time, the listing and pictures are accurate and the rental is a great value. We walked over to the lodge every day for snow boarding and drove to many attractions and other resorts during our stay. The check out process is simple and we would stay here again!

My family loved staying here. Great location for skiing and anyone hanging back had great views watching the action on the slopes. The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We were cozy and comfortable and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

This place was the perfect location for ski in/ski out and teaching my little ones to ski for their first time. Jennifer was awesome and gave excellent instructions. Would highly recommend to anyone for a quick family adventure

Our family of 4 stayed here over the holidays and it turned out to be the perfect setup for us. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and access to the slopes was incredibly convenient. It began snowing upon our arrival and it was really cool to watch the snow fall and the crew prepare the slopes from our balcony sliding doors. The temps dropped below zero while we were skiing and it was so nice to be able to exit the slope and walk straight to the condo to warm up and grab snacks and hot drinks. We had to do this often! Communication with our host, Jennifer, was the best and she responds to messages lightning fast. We had such a great time that we are planning to come back soon and hope that this property will be available for us to stay again.

My niece and I stayed here 3 nights for just a little girls getaway. Much more space than we needed but the price and location were great. The property owner was easy to work with and took care of our special requests. The information she provided to get to and access the property was easy and accurate.
The property is a very short drive to the resort but also has ski in/ski out access to the beginner lifts. A short drive down the mountain gets you to restaurants and grocery stores. Although we didn’t do a lot of cooking the kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable with 4 beds (I believe all queen). There was a separate dining room for bigger dinners. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants to enjoy the mountain. It was great for us but could have easily accommodated a much bigger group.

Our family of 8 stayed for Thanksgiving. The condo was perfect for my mother to sit inside by the fire and watch my son and friends ski on Easy Street. She has always wanted to sit in a ski lodge by a fire and watch people ski. Communication with Jennifer was quick and simple! Then, walking onto the slope was so easy! This was perfect! We hope to return in the future. Don't hesitate and book this condo!

Great weekend on the ski slope
Property is very convenient to ski slope and lodge. We ski all day and have a great cozy place to come eat and get warm. The condo is the perfect size for the 6 of us.

Great location for our weekend with my husband and I, and 4 teenage boys. Boys could easily walk out the door, down path, and across creek to hit the easy street run/lift, then to rest of the Mtn. Nice also for this mom, who needs green runs to start:-). Things to note—kitchen has great updates and nice appliances (except no garbage disposal). Smart tv in master is nice—wish there was smart tv in great room so we could’ve streamed Netflix etc.
Couch and chairs in living room and master bed mattress are old, and actually really uncomfortable. I was disappointed as I’d planned to spend lots of time there. (Teen boys had no complaints about the other two bedrooms)
Also if we’d been at full capacity (8) with adults/teens, it would’ve been too crowded in great room and dining.
BUT, the view was awesome, the location was perfect, and the condo worked well for us for a weekend. Gas fireplace was easy and nice touch. Owner was quick to respond and provided all needed info, plus some. Love the area, love Sugar, condo made it a great weekend

Would stay again!
Great, amazing, cozy! Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and everything that the listing said was true. Just a short walk to the East Street slope and gorgeous views. Even the fireplace worked! Communication with the host was quick! I will say, please keep the amount of guests up to date on the reservation. Even though the place sleeps 8 and my reservation technically said 6, we had a last minute add on to our group who was staying. But! The host was gracious enough to accommodate on such short notice for a small fee. Beautiful place to stay and will definitely be back! Thanks so much JC!

My family and I stayed for a 3-night getaway to sugar mountain and this place was perfect! It was spotless, had everything we needed, was super comfortable, and a perfect location to the slopes - walk down the steps, down a small path and across a small bridge and you are on the beginner slope (less than 3min walk!) We would absolutely stay again.
