Craig was a terrific communicator. The house was just as it was described. My friends and I had the perfect stay. Can't wait to come back next year!

We were looking for someplace quiet, peaceful but with some lake fun! This place checked all the boxes. We had a fantastic time, swimming, enjoying the large yard, fishing, etc. The house was clean, kitchen was stocked with appliances, pots and pans better than anything we have ever stayed at! Our kids loved it and already have asked when we can go back!

Our first experience staying on a lake was beyond fabulous! The house and amenities were perfect for our family of 4 and our little dog. The cleanliness was impeccable and we will be sure to book again!

We stay at a lakefront home every summer and this might be our favorite so far! Craig was very accommodating from the get-go. We were so thrilled to be able to bring our therapy dog (in training). That was a first for our family, and the kids loved not having to leave him behind. The dock was perfect, the yard was spacious, and the rope swing was a huge hit! The cupboards were stocked, which is also rare in my experience. Who wants to bring olive oil/salt/garlic powder on vacation?! Craig had it covered. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner , and body wash. Neighbors were friendly as well. 10/10 stay. We’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay last year so much, we came again. Got to enjoy the water - swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Went to the parks in town, magic show/shop, and some of the local restaurants. Home is in great condition with a lovely lot and view, and Craig was super responsive. Thanks for having us again!

My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. Right on the water. Cottage was very clean and updated with plenty of sleeping space and views. Craig was great to work with! Highly recommend!

The house and property was amazing! Great host, so clean, and had everything you needed to make your stay great! The view was gorgeous and nothing like walking out to the lake and taking in the scenery! We fished right off the dock and had a blast🐠 Can’t wait to go back again! If there was a higher rating, I would give it!

Beautiful lake and house with a huge yard. Great porch and fire pit in the back. Our family, kids, and dog all loved it! Everything was taken care of for us. We had the power go out during a storm and the owner was super responsive. He helped us reset the breaker and got the power back on in time to save dinner! We had a lovely stay and would go back again.

We had the best time! The cottage is beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. There were even board games to play and wood for the fires. Huge windows give an excellent view of the lake. Swimming, fishing, campfires and relaxing in the sun. We didn't want to come home! My 8-year-old granddaughter said, "This is the funest week of my whole life!" We highly recommend this property.

The lakefront property is very nice. The owner is easy to get a hold of and responds promptly. The cottage and yard area are spacious. The cottage is appropriately furnished and comfortable. My wife and I had each of our 3 children along with spouses and grandchild join us. We all had a very enjoyable time. We fished, swam, grilled, played yard games, and did some sight-seeing.

We traveled with our younger children (both under 8) and our family dog. Property has been recently renovated and well taken care of. Kids loved swimming at the property, kayaking, fishing, and having s’mores with the lakeside firepit. Everything as described and would definitely come again. For those with younger kids the town has a magic shop (magic capital of the world, after all) and some nice playgrounds nearby. Walked downtown to dinner (magic capital grille and five star pizza) and had some fantastic fried fish from Curlys.

This was a last minute booking for us, and it was very pleasant. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels. It also had basic spices and oils for cooking. The house is located on a fairly quiet street, which was nice because we could let our pup off leash a little bit for some exercise. The pup also enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming; the stairs made getting out of the water easy. The lake seemed to be a 'fishing' type lake, more for boating than swimming in my limited opinion. It was very nice relaxing by the water, especially in the shade of the big tree out front, just beware of the goose droppings.

Loved the house. If you’re looking for close by activities for kids, bit of a drive. Otherwise very quiet and great place to fish. Nice house, everything you need is there.

We had a great time at this lake house on Palmer Lake! My girlfriend and I were looking for a weekend away, and the house and location were perfect. Spacious, great views of the lake, very clean, quiet, firepit used nightly, nice big kitchen, and our cat enjoyed the stay too! We liked it so much we stayed another night. The host was courteous and helpful, and we had no issues during our 4 night stay. Looking forward to staying here in the Summer next time.

My husband and I brought our dog to this lake house for a long weekend. We had a lovely stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. We recommend this lake house highly!

Place is very nice; super clean and close to town. Right on the water with great views. Area seems really safe. Pleasantly surpised at the amenities in the house; washer and dryer available to use; lots of clean towels etc..; just a great place to stay.

This property is amazing! The location right on the water and the big yard was wonderful. The house is beautifully updated and we had plenty of space. We had all we needed to stay for the week and relax. We took our two kids and chocolate lab and everyone was happy. Craig was awesome to deal with and very helpful with any questions. We can't wait to rent this lake house again!

I’m only disappointed VRBO constricts the rating system to five stars, because this place deserves ten! Huge lot, open concept, great small town, friendly people, and magic. My kids (7, 5, and 3), and our dog had a wonderful visit. We will be back!!!!!!!!

Clean and well appointed. Outstanding view, excellent location. The steps on the dock helped all of us to get in & out of the water. Also, the sand in the shallow water helped walking in the water. Huge yard for Corn hole, kick ball & other outside games or just sitting around the firepit at night! Kids loved eating lunch on the picnic table. We sat on the porch swing one evening when there was a cool breeze and no bugs!

This was our first VRBO experience and it went great. The property appeared recently updated and was nicely appointed. The house layout was a little odd but that didn't matter since the main living space, which is very large, was where we spent most of our time inside anyway. There are fantastic views of the Lake from this space as well. We loved being able to walk out the door and go directly into the Lake. No need to drive to a Lake like you would from a hotel. We used the paddle board and kayak provided daily. As well as the fire pit. The rental contact was hospitable and quick to respond. No complaints. Would go again and highly suggest to others.

A beautiful home on a beautiful, large lot and the Palmer Lake is a great size- 450 acres and is pretty quiet.... perfect get away to just relax by the water with our chocolate lab. I enjoyed the paddleboard, my husband enjoyed fishing off the dock- my teenagers actually enjoyed spending time with us- 🤓sitting on the porch swing and laughing - We did rent a pontoon boat for one day from Palmer Lake Lodge so we could explore the lake - we definitely plan on coming back! Thank you to the owners for a wonderful rental experience.

Such a cute house! Perfect amount of space, everything was clean and updated, lots of pillows and super comfy beds! Loved that it was right on the water, we weren’t able to enjoy the lake because of the weather but would definitely love to the next time we come back.

We really enjoyed our stay, lots of space both indoors and outdoors for different activities! Lake is spacious, and was pretty quiet during our June stay!
