My train was 12 hours late. I arrived in Colfax at midnight, the staff graciously came and picked me up at the Amtrak station because there no other way for me to get to the hotel. Service above and beyond!

There wasn't a single thing I didn't like.

the property is poorly managed. 1. when we first checked in our room on the 3/F, I was skeptical how the bedding was made. It seemed to me that they were not newly placed. I checked it out and saw lots of lints and the wrinkles on the bed sheets were telling that someone has slept in it. The table under the TV and bathroom sink areas also have stains. I went to the front desk staff who was sorry about this and offered another room on the same floor. 2. The beddings of this room is even worse. Again, the bedding was placed in a way that it is telling you it has not been newly placed. When I opened the blanket, I saw lots of sand on the bedsheet. 3. the front desk staff offered a room on 2/F, and the bedding was finally presented nicely and they are clean. 4. We booked for three nights, the second day we came back to our room, the key cards were not functioning; and our room had not been serviced! 5. the following morning before we went out, we told two front desk ladies and requested our room to be serviced. They said they would mark it down and would arrange accordingly! But, to our surprise, the night we went back to our room,it had not been serviced again. During our three nights stay, our room had not been serviced at all. Our garbage bins are full, we ran out of toilet paper and clean towels. We had to tell the front desk staff at night (he was a helpful guy) and got our stuff from him. 6. Another thing that annoys us most is that on the last night we stayed here, before I went to bed, I saw some old blood stains on the blanket! Overall, I think the frontline house-keep staff are not doing their jobs and the supervisors don’t care much neither.

Staff was kind, and the breakfast station was pretty good.

The first night, the bed was literally hard as a rock. We requested another room. Staff was very accommodating in getting us a room with a postropedic bed. But the new rooms floor was filthy, the bathroom was filthy. Our room was not cleaned the 4 days we were there. We had to continually ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. If it was not the only hotel in Colfax I would have left.

The property was nice. 2 other family members stayed at the same property & their rooms were great.

our room smelled like cigarettes (I informed the front desk), we only had 1 normal size towel, the floor was dirt, only 1 roll of toilet paper, the handle of my dresser was broken (we fixed it) and my room was never cleaned.

It is ideally situated in Colfax. It is a fairly new motel. It offers good access to InterState 80. I found it offered great access to a restaurant & small supermarket in Colfax. The staff were very friendly, professional & helpful. Also, it offers solitude & serenity for the traveler.
