Las instalaciones son unicas, esta muy bien ambientado como en su mejor epoca
La habitacion esta demasiado cerca del comedor y en momentos en incomodo estar en la habitacion con tanta gente afuera de ella.

The staffing and concierge are great; they make your experience personalized and comfortable. Me an my girl were pleased with everything and how they handled the situations.
Their food is great, there was no need to leave the hotel to eat.
I’d just recommend a little improvement as far as privacy goes with the boundary between restaurant and hotel. Besides that, it was phenomenal.

very noisy, couldn’t sleep well.

Great friendly and helpful staff. Found a safe spot for my motobike so no worries about outside parking. Food was darn good for hotel food so restaurant is worth a go as well.

Great staff. Language barrier but they were patient and understanding getting thru it. Gave me a spot in their private service vehicle garage for my bike so no worries about security in a lot or street. Restaurant is good enough you don’t realize it is in a hotel so definitely worth trying. Building ooze’s character and charm.

the hotel decoration
During the breakfast we ordered an oatmeal, but the menu reflect the oatmeal with red berries and apple , I specified to the waitress remove the red berries and the apple, but when him brought the oatmeal included the red berries and apple, the waitress excuses the follow: "The chef does not wanted removed, because the dish must include the fruits"
I think that this excuse its unacceptable. this event does not reflect a good customer service.

This a beautiful hotel! From the very attentive front desk staff to the dining experience, everything was exceptional! We stayed in the Pancho Villa Suite and Porfirio Diaz Suite. Staying at the Casa Del General will take you back in time due to the timeless pieces of furniture and decor from Europe. If you are a history guru this is the place to stay and enjoy the history this hotel boutique has to offer. Decore was done with class and respect to the past. Thank you to Carlos and his staff for the wonderful stay.
Dining: Gastroteca Don Eugenio; Chef Paul has made an exceptional menu from breakfast to dinner! The fresh baked mini concha's served during breakfast will melt in your mouth. The menu that he has put together is so delicious and flavorful nothing you choose will leave you disappointed. They also have a large selection of spirits and a wine list.
Thank you to Paul and his staff.
Room/Noise. Yes, the noise level at times can be elevated but to preserve the history of the home windows and doors do not cancel outside noise. King Bed in the Pancho Villa suite was very comfortable, Diaz Suite bed was not as much.
Overall, a wonderful stay. Will stay again when going back home to visit family.
Dining area music staying on longer in the evening past 10 on the weekend.

I loved the architecture of the property and the way they have decorated each of the rooms.
Great service and people. Awesome food and bar!
Parking is a block away from the property, but still withing a reasonable distance and safety was very good!

We had a travel interruption and were unable to stay here as planned. But the staff was excellent in communication and very caring- we wished we could have enjoyed this beautiful hotel. They did offer us parking - other reviews mentioned parking as an issue- all I did was ask in advance

The Antique furniture, the bath in the bedroom, the friendly and enthusiastic staff. The history of the house.

We stayed three nights. The place and food were great. The food service was poor. If you stay out late keep the phone number with you. They seem to lock the doors a bit after midnight. We will return.
They provided a breakfast voucher for each morning but we failed to ask the waiter what was covered when we ordered. The food was fantastic but since two of the meals we ordered were not covered by the voucher we had to pay full price for them and received no credit from the voucher???? We had relatives visit us and they received a room temperature beer and a cold meal which the staff reheated in a microwave but only succeeded in heating the bowl. The manager did not like our poor review and offered us a free dinner if we would change to a favorable review. The waiters were spending a lot of time at the front desk texting on their cell phones. Parking was an issue.
