We loved how clean the house was inside. There were phenomenal views from the balcony over looking the lake. Sunsets and sunrises were so fun to watch along with deer, moose, and birds.

We pulled up to the property and instantly my heart sunk. This property is covered in huge, pokey weeds (including the driveway). Before renting the property almost a year ago, I asked about the yard. I was told it was in process. Imagine our disappointment when we arrive and there was no grass at all. When you rent a house with 4 families (which we do every year) you need a yard. We play all kinds of yard games usually and the kids love the space to hangout in. We found ourselves trying to figure out where to go so we didnt have to stay at the house. The house inside was fine. Vacasa was amazing with communication and updates. The house needs to have information about where the pool is located. There was nothing. We had to message in to get the information. We would not stay here again mostly because of the yard. That should have been disclosed, especially because we specifically asked about a yard!

The view is stunning and it was big enough that everyone felt comfortable and at home.

The house is super clean, great location, and a great set up for multiple families. Will definitely be staying here again.

Beat Lake Beauty was terrific for our family. The location was perfect. We took our own entertainment with us since there isn't anything but foosball at the house. The beds were very comfortable and our grandkids loved the bunk beds. They each got the top bunk which they each want to sleep in. Plenty of room to park vehicles.

We stayed over pioneer weekend. You could see the fireworks from ideal beach from the deck of the house! The location couldn't be better. A few min to garden city and a few min to ideal beach which gives you access to a nice resort. A quiet boat launch 15 min from the house made for easy launching without the crowds of the north side.
The house itself was beautiful. Nice finishes but also a place you could kick back with small kids and not worry they'd ruin everything they touched. In my opinion, it was built for bigger gatherings with all ages in mind. Great layout, plenty of necessities stocked, clean and comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen had 2 fridges which is a necessity for a bigger family gathering.
Excited that we found a house worth coming back to!

Review on the Bear Lake Rental
We loved the configuration and setting of this rental. It was spacious and accommodated our family’s needs very well. The view of the lake through the windowed wall was priceless. I could just sit and enjoy that view all day. There were lots of towels and plates/glasses/silverware. Loved the double fridges. That was super. The island was wonderful.
We did have some issues that I am sure you will want to address before they cause more problems for you down the road.
Bathrooms – Upstairs Master: Drain lever hits backsplash before it is able to close the drain.
Shower Door is hung just slightly off of square causig it to slide backwards away from the tiled wall it should seal to during showers. This allows water out soaking the baseboard that is npw discolored because of water damage.
Barn Door is too small for the opening. Not enough overlap to give the privacy one would desire for using the toilet. Pretty disconcerting to see an inch on either side of the door of the bedroom while sitting on the toilet with the door supposedly closed.🤨 I'm not a fan.
Downstairs King Master suite: Sink drain is nearly closed and can not be opened so that water gathers in the sink and takes forever to drain.
Spiders: We found a number of live spiders down stairs and killed them but a good spray would certainly be good.
Cleaning: We needed to mop the King suite downstairs bathroom floor and also wipe out all of the window sills of dead flies. The pantry floor looked like they had swept all the dirt and debry from the kitchen living area into it.
The Kitchen seemed to be a little understocked for a house with 18 possible guests. Since this is a fairly new rental property I am offering a few suggestions that would have made cooking for our large group a more pleasant experience.
Another cutting board
Set of larger bowls for mixing and serving
Full set of measuring cups ( measuring 8 cups in half cups is kind of tricky)
Colander (as the strainer doesn’t work as well for pastas because holes are too small)
Another large cookie sheet
Large serving and mixing spoons
Dish clothes
Ice cream scoop
Large frying pan
More dish towels
Apron
Hot pads with better heat protection (there were some regular commercial ones and then a couple that were simply two pieces of cloth with batting unquilted – they didn’t insulate at all)
When you replace the stove in the future consider a co

This home gave us plenty of room for our three adult children, spouses and grandchildren. Everyone had their own space when needed and plenty of room to spend time together.

This house was perfect for our getaway to this area. Lots of room in beautiful location.
Room for all of us to spread out and bathrooms for everyone was a plus. The only downfall were the TV's. You need direct TV, and the fireplace was inop.

Great place for a family!
We would suggest the kitchen be better equipped for a larger family. We had a few issues with the functioning of some of the appliances. Overall we had no complaints. It was a wonderful time. We plan to stay there again.

Great stay in Bear Lake
Beautiful home for a large family (or families). We really enjoyed the location with its beautiful view and access to the swimming pools at Ideal Beach.

Great property/ Bring beach towels
Property said they provided beach towels so we didn’t worry about bringing any. However, a home that holds up to 18 people only had 4 beach towels. Overall, the home was nice and clean and in a good location. Anytime we had a question or issue, they were good to help.

Great for families
Large bedrooms, four with private bathrooms. Plenty of space to spread out. Plenty of parking too. Beautiful view with a nice wrap around deck. Plumbing and AC worked great. Two fridges gave us lots of room for drinks and food. Kitchen fully equipped. We loved our stay and would stay here again.

Great stay!
The property is in a great location. The lake views were incredible and in a quiet neighborhood. Our large family loved the layout of the home. We loved having 2 fridges/freezers. The bathtubs were deep so one could enjoy a nice soak after a day at the beach. More than enough towels to accommodate the amount of people. The pool is a drive a ways from the residence but we preferred the beach over the pool anyways.
The reason I didn't rate 5 stars on cleanliness is because the windows downstairs weren't clean and one of the bathrooms had quite a bit of hair on the ground when we arrived. We found a broom/vacuum and were able to fix that no problem :) Otherwise it was all great and welcoming!

NO POOL OR HOT TUB by house.
The place was amazing, great view and space. We had a few issues though first upon arrival the water was not working for the first 2 hours. We needed at least enough water to brush our teeth, we couldn't even get that. There is 6 sinks in the house and not a single one had running water neither did the showers. Apparently the owner of the house is a plumber and he needed to turn on the water from an app on his phone. We called vacasa and didn't hear back until the morning. Now it also says there is a shared pool and hot tub BUT ITS NO WHERE NEAR THE HOUSE. So im not exactly sure where they are located, there is no instructions as to where they are by. When i contacted the vacasa rep about this she said they cannot guarantee pools or hot tubs. When i spoke to the manager of the property she advised us the owner did not purchase the passes. Last thing there was a pillow in the closet with blood on it. Other than those issues the place is beautiful. The house is about 10 min from the beaches. The kidos had a great time it and the grill was great for our bbq. Also side note the fier Place was not working. Its 50 / 50 if they get these issues fixed and clarify the pool and hot tub situation the bloody pillow the fire place and the running water. This would have been an amazing stay for us!!!
