Poorly maintained motel, furnishings and linens musty. Pass on this place, it’s below standards.

Location is close to beach but not ocean view. Front desk staff very friendly.

Run down conditions, old carpet, bed no support. Dogs barking in adjacent room. Towels and bath mat appear worn. Very seedy. I did not complain as it was not a situation that could be remedied.

My experience was frustrating and unsatisfactory

Nothing it was dirty.

Beware, the room I booked was not what I got! Don't be deceived by the pictures, this place is a disappointment. The TV didn't work, and to make matters worse, the maintenance guy who came to fix it was drunk, holding a can of beer, and wore dirty clothes, struggling to even stand upright. I had to call three times, waiting indefinitely, only to be told they didn't have an iron available. The customer service was subpar, to say the least. Don't let the pictures fool you, this place urgently needs improvement!

Great relaxing place

The pool was literally perfect!!! It's like the focal point of the place!! The staff!! Doreen was so helpful and I really appreciate how thoughtful she was!!

Just wish people wouldn't smoke pot on the balcony because I didn't care to smell it. But that's not the hotels fault.

If you want a quiet off the beaten path location, this is the best place in the world to be!

This property was impeccable. They are currently doing some updates with paint and cleaning in the rooms, but I have to say I’ve never seen such a clean location. It is quiet and off the beaten path. The beach is literally 500 feet away. The rooms are extremely comfortable. The bed was very soft and as long as you like a soft bed, that’s great. We had a room with a balcony, which was amazing, and we had a kitchenette which was so cool. To make it more perfect it is completely dog friendly! With a dog park!!

There wasn’t anything I did not like about the property. I was very happy with the accommodations the location the parking and it is completely dog friendly.

Tres décevante.

Le déjeuner n'était pas offert.

A dû changer de chambre tellement la senteur de cigarettes était imprégnée dans la chambre. Donc pas de problème, ils nous ont loué une suite où cette fois-ci, c'était une senteur de chien mouillé.

Ich war 2x da - das Erste und das letzte Mal

Nichts.

Die Bilder auf booking.com sollten schnellstmöglich erneuert werden - ansonsten würde ich sagen Vorspielung falscher Tatsachen. Möbel überaltert, Rauchmelder hing an 2 Kabeln von der Wand, Steckdosen am Bett funktionierten nicht, und, und, und ….

Wonderful hotel and will definitely book again.

The place smelled wonderful and the bed were very comfortable. They had a pool and a hot tub that were also great. The hotel is also in a great location and the staff were very welcoming

I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this hotel.

Nice place to stay !

Me and my husband loved the place , it was very close to the beach and the room has everything that we need for our 9 days stay, we will be back!

The only downside was that we didn’t have someone cleaning the rooms for us but for the price it was ok!

Hotel bien ubicado con muchas comodidades

La piscina muy limpia. Muy buena ubicación, cerca de la playa. Ambiente muy fresco. Buena ducha. Amabilidad del personal.

Muy iluminado afuera de la habitación, lo que perjudica a la hora de dormir. Deberían de mejorar las cortinas.

Happy I chose Avalon resort. Made the trip even better

Good amenities, good location, awesome staff

Room was slightly out of date, however they are in the middle of a full renovation. So I’m sure this will improve.

It was good. I’ve seen a huge improvement from a few years ago.

We enjoyed the pool, it was very clean. They also had a hot tub we didn’t go in though but looked nice. They also had mini golf. My kids tried to play however Mini golf wasn’t kept up with as there was grass in the holes. Room was decent wasn’t bad at all. Smelled nice. We did notice trash under our bed and blankets were extremely wrinkled and I noticed a few hairs on our bed. So I’m not 100% sure they were washed.. and we were only given two towels for 4 guests. But overall the staff was extremely nice and the place was nice. There were people who clearly lived there that’s the only thing we would change because they were a bit sketchy.. but would definitely stay there again. If you need a place for a night or two it isn’t bad and very close to the beach, ice cream shops, restaurants etc.

Blankets on bed didn’t smell clean like soap.. also hairs on the bed. And the lounge chair had many stains on it. I’d just toss it. Who knows what the stains are from lol

as soon as I walked into the room and saw the condition of the room and the bathroom immediately walked out and called B

i’m not quite sure how someone the manager and the maintenance person and the cleaning person missed that the window that had been broken into from the outside had been repaired, but there were still glass and a broken blonde and no safety locks on the window the entry door to the room did not have a working deadbolt the linens did not match on the beds. I did not spend the night here. I got a refund.

TV cable connector was awful and days trying to repair. Small in size also. .I inquired about getting compensated, and they did. . Thank you for that. I would suggest people search areas first..

Needed a place to stay at short notice but feel paid more than should have been charged for what we got.

Christine was excellent always accommodating. Pool was excellent.

Rooms where we stayed needed updating. Rugs were not cleaned in awhile. Needed more than vacuum.

Great place and would be the first place I’d consider when I’m back in Florida.

This place is great. when I stayed it was noisy because they where cleaning the building. That’s noise for a good reason because they actively care about providing a clean place. The owner was awesome made the place feel welcoming. Its also a block away from a beautiful beach.

I didn’t see laundry but I never asked where it was so that’s on me. The furniture is a little old but if that’s making the place a little cheaper I’ll take it for sure.

Great little place!

Close enough to the beach you could hear the waves from the room. Beds were pretty decent for a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and well maintained. If your looking for something that is location vs. Price, this is the best!

Roku TV wouldn't sign in - but we also didnt go ask for help to fix it. We were just so tired we gave up.

Great location, with everything you need.

The location one block off the beach is awesome! The property manager, Christine was very nice and helpful. Appreciated the free use of beach towels, and the free parking. Room was spacious and pretty much had everything we needed. Quiet. The biggest downside was the mattress, which “sunk” in the middle and had very little support. Replace the mattress and we’ll stay with you on every trip to Deerfield. 😉
