An ideal setup for a beach getaway. This home is located in the heart of The Village of Carlsbad just steps from downtown, with great restaurants, bars, live music, live theatre, shopping, and of course the beach! The access to the beach is right across the street, so you can enjoy walks along the boardwalk or relaxing in the sand within minutes. There are so many things to do in this area.
This beautiful three-bedroom two-and-a-half-bath home has everything you need for a fun family vacation. The front yard has a fabulous gas firepit where you can sit and enjoy the setting sun and the warmth of the fire or relax and enjoy the California sunshine during the day. Entering the home, you will be greeted with a full array of entertainment options, from large flatscreen TVs, a pool table, a piano, an outdoor jacuzzi, a gourmet kitchen, and much more. The living room is well set up with a comfy sofa, a large screen TV with streaming, and hundreds of DVDs. Snuggle up on the sofa and enjoy a movie, drink a glass of wine by the fireplace, play some tunes on the piano, or challenge someone to a game of a pool! And don’t forget to warm up in the jacuzzi after playing at the beach!
The huge kitchen is perfect for entertaining. The open concept kitchen allows for preparing meals while still having everyone around in the living room watching TV or playing pool. The kitchen has large granite countertops, a six-burner gas stovetop, two ovens, and a large refrigerator, perfectly set up for any chef. There is also a pass-through window from the kitchen to the barbecue outside making it easy to entertain outside as well. This home has plenty of wonderful outside spaces that will enhance your vacation stay. With the firepit in the front yard, a jacuzzi, a dart board, and a barbecue in the backyard, plus decks off all the bedrooms, and the beautiful ocean just steps away.
Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a massive walk-in closet, a gas fireplace, a large flatscreen TV, and a private bath with a stunning tiled step-in shower. Open the plantation shutters to step out to the main bedroom deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or watch the sunset on the ocean. The second bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. The bunk has a full-size mattress on the bottom and a twin on top. This room also has a computer station, should you need to conduct some business. There is a balcony with lounge furniture off the two upstairs bedrooms. The third bedroom has a queen-sized mattress and access to the balcony as well. There is also a beautifully remodeled bathroom off the hallway for the guest bedrooms.
For additional sleeping options, there is a futon sofa in the family room downstairs. Also off the upstairs hallway is a large laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The home has plenty of parking in the driveway for several cars, and there are also beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, boogieboards, and beach toys available.
It is convenient to local attractions such as Legoland, five minutes away; Sea World, 25 minutes away; and the San Diego Zoo, 35 minutes away. This home does not offer central AC, but fans are provided. It utilizes decibel-level monitors.

We were very pleased with how clean the house was upon arrival. They provide plenty of amenities for both the stay in the home and to set you up for a great beach day. The home is literally steps to a wonderful beach and easy to access. A quick ten minute walk to get to downtown Carlsbad. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and having fun playing pool and darts. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Walking distance To all of the shops and restaurants of Carlsbad village. A few steps to the beach. House has a great layout— very comfortable for our 5 people. 2 and a half bathrooms! Everything was well stocked. Highly recommend this place

Great location across the street from the beach and within walking distance to the downtown Carlsbad village. Home was spacious where the family could spread out yet perfect dining/kitchen area to have dinners. Plenty of outside spaces to spend time in the perfect Carlsbad weather. Beds were comfy, which is always hit or miss with rentals. Shower/baths worked great, laundry easy to use. Really great experience and would love to stay here again!

We loved this house. The pool table and hot tub were a hit. Amazing kitchen. We loved the proximity to the beach but not on the Main Street helping it be a little quieter but still just steps to the beach access.

Our family stayed for Thanksgiving and the house was fantastic. We have four kids and there was plenty of room and things to do. It is a great location close to the beach and village.

We stayed on this property with four teenagers, myself, my sister, and our elderly mother and had a very relaxing stay. The home is across the street from the beach with a safe and convenient crosswalk, conveniently located to the grocery store (driving distance) and Carlsbad Village which has many local restaurants and shops is walking distance. The home was warm when we arrived but quickly cooled down once we turned on all the fans and opened all the windows. We were granted early check-in which was fantastic because we had arrived three hours prior to check in time.
The outside shower was super convenient to wash off sand when we returned from the beach. The teens were able to come and go from the house to the beach throughout the day.
Parking in the rear of the house was nice as side access is gated off. The driveway is extremely tight, so would not work with a large truck/vehicle. We were able to park our small SUV and Nissan Sentra just fine.
Beach toys, including boogie boards, umbrellas, and chairs are provided for guest use. Some are fairly worn, but still usable.
The only things missing were cooking items like oil, salt and pepper, condiments, paper plates/cups and extra rolls of toilet paper. Toiletries are tiny, so bring your own. Aside from that everything was fabulous and clean!
We found great entertainment with the pool table, dartboard and spa in the evening hours.
Will definitely plan to stay here again!

Location was great, ample parking which is a treat by the beach. The house was clean and plenty of space for all of us. We would definitely stay again at this location.

Love this place, a few things we noticed - top bunk bed needs repair - hot tub was a little dirty upon arrival and very foamy - parking gate stopped working second day into stay - kitchen lights over kitchen island shorting off and on making loud buzz - stone in master shower flaking off, putty around window coming off.

Our family loved this place! Perfect for families with kids. Location is amazing. Close to Legoland and short walk to the beach. Home was spacious. We loved pool table and spa! We would stay here again.

From the front door to the back of the house WOW the Hot Tub Pooooool Table the Master is Great just the 2 of us 2nd time will be back again and again the bed was very good the view close to town fire pit and fire place in Master WOW

We absolutely loved being right on the beach (just across the road, as no homes are on the beach there), and enjoyed some great hikes and shoppes in Carlsbad, as well as full days in the city. Fabulous house
This was a perfect stay of 10 days for our family. All amenities were nice with a wonderfully appointed kitchen for family meals.

Great location, short walk to beach (practically back yard). House was great for family and the rental company was super easy to work with. This is a great spot for a family beach get away. Pictures are beautiful but don’t do the place justice.

The BBQ was used 2 of the 3 days we stayed there. The pool table was the most fun, settled many differences of opinions with the pool table. All in all, a great place! I would stay again!

Vacasa did make some concessions, however, we did lose some money with the change.

At the house, there are lots of places to sit and relax. The kitchen is incredible!! Very well supplied and perfect for socializing while cooking. Before he passed away, my father lived in the Carlsbad/La Costa area since the 1970s. My step-mother is still in the area, although not in the home they shared for almost 30 years. When I was looking for a vacation home in the area that would allow me to experience everything I used to experience while being at my dad's, and would allow me to be able to easily visit my step-mom, I knew the exact area I wanted to be near. This home provided absolutely everything I hoped it would provide, and more. I wanted to be (really) near Carlsbad Beach and I wanted a home that would comfortably fit my family. Unfortunately not everyone I hoped would join us was able to make the trip, but for the four of us who did make it the house was terrific. It is extremely comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is beautiful. The living spaces gives everyone plenty of room and all the outdoor spaces are just right. You can choose to be comfortably together or find a nook to be alone - and most spots have an ocean view. You can actually sit at the dining room table and glimpse a slice of the ocean. We made use of all the amenities including playing the piano, soaking in the hot tub, played pool, and had nightly chats around the fire pit. We walked on the beach up to Carlsbad every morning and sat on the beach (in chairs provided) to watch gorgeous sunsets. My only regret was that my entire family could not join us - so we are seriously considering a repeat visit next year. Thank you for giving me the exact experience and memories I had hoped for.

Killer location, one house off the beach - easy walk to the sand. Jacuzzi, BBQ, VERY comfortable layout with high end finishes and ample linens and towels. Very clean and BETTER than the pictures (which is very rare!). Can't wait to rent this again!!
