Ruhige und entspannte Zeit in Dadida's Pool Cottage

Ruhig und schön gelegen. Man wohnt ruhig, abseits der Hauptstraßen, aber trotzdem war alles Wichtige wie Supermarkt, Banken, Restaurants und natürlich der Strand in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. WLAN funktioniert hier sehr stabil. Die Unterkunft war sauber und es war alles Nötige vorhanden. Bei Nachfragen wurde vom Personal schnell weitergeholfen. Auch die Besitzer waren immer für uns erreichbar und sehr bemüht, zeitnah zu helfen oder Auskünfte zu geben. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen, es gab nichts auszusetzen.

Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

A cool villa

we got a beautiful private villa experience in the cottage. staffs and host was so friendly. they even had a kitchen in it and if u r a animal lover u will defylike that place. Finding the location was little difficult for us. But overall it was an amazing experience staying there.

cats and dogs we annoying us when we were sitting outside. that's the only negative things we found

Beautiful large garden. Daily cleaned pool. David is really an employee who loves his job. He takes care of the garden and pool with a smile. Betty took care of our house and of the cleanliness of the rooms on daily basis. Whatever we asked the two for something, they willingly and with a smile fulfilled it immediately. I appreciate the AC in every room, the hot water in shower and really good water pressure in the shower. The Wi-Fi worked reliably and without problems. As i had to work during my stay, i really appreciated it. The enviroment was pleasant, garden beautiful, entrance secured and guarded. The accessibility to the ocean, shops or restaurant was thanks to tuc-tuc taxi fast. A big thank you to the ownerin Rose for everything ❤️

It's Africa... You need to be prepared for insects, beetles, lizards... it belongs to the country and shouldn't be taken as a negative

Super schönes Ambiente. Man hat sich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Personal und Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr schöner Garten mit Pool.

Nur die Betten waren hart.

One of the staff who was working during the day is soo rude They should keep the dogs away from the visitors sibce not everyone is comfortable around dogs and cats Also the pets were all over the house especially the kitchen We couldn’t store our food

Dogs hanging around on furnitures on Veranda (Balcony) Electricity Costs are not included in Price which is very weird. Location is a little remote.

Lost for words 😊

An all around Serene place. Place is exactly as it looks in the pictures and as described. The staff are friendly and quick to respond. Loved loved the pool. Place is around 5-10 minutes to the beach and most of the restaurants are all around within a walkable 1.5 km radius

Peaceful family friendly well thought out accomodation with all the facilities you could wish for.

Excellent value for money, private beautiful cottage with a private pool. All kept very clean, staff 24h to look after you. Yes you have to pay for electricity, but I understand why. At the low daily price you pay for the accomodation it offers both A/C in both bedrooms, hot showers, kitchen, large flat screen TV´s, which are costly -if you use all the facilities a lot. Alternatively check in to an expensive hotel (which would be the only option of you want all those facilities) and the price will be much higher. We paid around 1000 Kenyan Shilling a day for electricity and we used a lot.

My family were not so keen on the animals (two cats and two dogs), but I guess its subjective. Everything else was very positive.

Way to expensive for what you get

The staff and their pets were super nice

Place is not very clean and the rooms moist. The road to the apartment is horrible and they will try to rip you off some extra money even for electricity.

Good location, close to the airport, close to the beach. The hosts a d caretaker were always there for anything. Even when there was a small issue, it was sorted immediately. Definitely recommend

Best hospitality, beautiful garden and environment

Staff is friendly and kind, interested in our needs. It was 2 bedroom cottage but we were the only guests there and it was like we had a private beautiful big garden and swimming pool Enough kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and pillows, big enough room, AC works well good mosquito net around the bed. 10 minutes walking to the beach, 5-6 minutes to the shops. Security at the garden. . Also a lot of thanks to Rose and her husband for their warm hospitality and arranging our train ticket from Mombasa to Nairobi.

The place is perfect. Definitely booking it again, if available, when am in Diani.

The host is great, very responsive to our concerns. Answers questions with conclusive solutions, in time. The rooms have lovely interior spaces. Great compound with a suitable pool, very clean, to accommodate all family members, including infants. Quite generous. Toys for kids were provided. The host has provided supplementary things, such as the hammock and the swinging bed. The cottage is very close to the beach, approximately 400m away. It was the best place to be.

Nothing really, just include big mugs for them teas and coffees.

The property has a homely atmosphere.

The privacy at Dadida's - we had the entire compound and swimming pool by ourselves. The ambiance, the swing bed and chilling spot next to the pool where we enjoyed our drinks and played games, the cute playful dogs that welcomed us to the property, the dawn chorus was quite fascinating, the well maintained rooms and wonderful staff. The property is a walking distance to the beach. Paul was always available to open the gate for us, he brought Madafu whenever we needed some. Caro who made sure our house was well maintained. The staff became family to us, they were so kind and helpful. Not sure of what to do when in Diani? Worry not, Rose the host is very resourceful.She is an amazing host who kept in touch to be sure we are comfortable. She plugged us with places to visit and what to do in Diani - this made us have a smooth fun filled trip. Trust me, her recommendations are top notch. You'll have an amazing experience in the places she recommends. Peaceful, private and personal is how I would define Dadida's. A 10! If you are looking for a sign to book your stay with Dadida's, this is it! I highly recommend Dadida's to other guests.

The property is well maintained. I was very comfortable. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was a nice novelty seeing the turtles roaming the lawns. My favourite was the swinging bed. The electricity set up is easier to understand than I thought. The electricity is set up on a pay as you go meter. With electricity rates in Kenya being very expensive this is a good way for property owners to manage the bills for holiday homes. I guess this also helps to keep the accommodation rate more competitive. Similar to a UK pay as you go meter you just top up the electricity by adding credit onto the meters account number. I did through trough M-PESA which is a local payment system via mobile. The guard assisted in topping up the meter. I spent a week at the property and topped the meter up with less then £10 (I did not use aircon). You can make a note of what the meter reading is before topping up when checking into the property and then you can monitor your use by reading the LED screen on the meter itself during your stay. If the meter reading is lower then than what was noted when you checked in then you just go ahead and top up again. If you are not using M-PESA then just give cash to the cleaner or guard who will complete the topping up process for you.

Beautiful private garden which is well kept. The house was immaculate and well maintained and the location is great. The mattresses were comfortable.

Electricity is NOT included which is ridiculous, and it is not mentioned anywhere prior to booking that it will be charged extra... Also, the type of mosquito nets used are very impractical (we all felt like we were getting tangled in them during the night).

Just amazing

The villa is very accessible, beautiful garden, designed pool and very clean, very efficient and friendly staff, very secure and quiet area. We had the whole compound for us alone. Simply an amazing place to absolutely recommend and of course looking forward to the next stay in Dadida’s.

Peaceful Stay with Nature

The host was proactive and kept in contact. There are two friendly dogs (and a turtle) that I enjoyed a lot. The gatekeeper he was very friendly and this place is within walking distance of the airport.

Paying for electricity. Wasn't notified until shortly before arriving. We didn't use TV, there wasn't hot shower, and we didn't use the air conditioning. But was charged for 3 units of tokens. Also getting permission for a friend to visit despite the rules already stated there can be four maximum guests (It was just me and my Fiancée).

😡This woman is a cheater when check in it says you need to pay your own electricity by tokens i gave her 2500 for 5days upon check out we counted I only 43 unit 1 unit is 25 so 43×25 = 1077 probably she is used to steal from the power when I told her to give me my balance she blocked me and ordered her housekeeper to wake me and my family to leave the house while i was supposed to check out the next morning at 11am and I fully paid her bill and cut of the power I paid for in Mombasa hit my baby was crying none stop please be aware 😡😡 I have chat proves
