The Stone House
Built in 1925, this beautiful property was designed by Frederic Joseph DeLongchamps, one of the most prolific architects of the southwest. The unique architecture and vintage charm will make you feel like you've taken a step back in time. Its historic appeal, unique history, great amenities, and amazing location make this spacious home the perfect Reno getaway.
With five bedrooms and two baths, this newly remodeled house offers more than enough room to spread out and relax. Inviting touches can be found throughout the entire home, but are especially prevalent in the open and inviting living room. You'll love spending time in this charming room, which features a beautiful stone fireplace, tasteful decor, comfortable furniture, and original exposed beams. These beams were extracted from the Virginia City silver mines and are a true piece of American history built right into the home.
The dining room, which opens to the living area, provides gorgeous overhead lighting and a large, stylish dining table. Spend your evenings playing board games or enjoy a delicious dinner in this spacious, elegant room.
The bright and open kitchen provides everything you'll need to whip up a tasty meal. The kitchen has been remodeled and has brand new appliances. The space is open and offers beautiful cabinetry and new fixtures, you'll enjoy cooking together in this charming space.
Each of the five bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have an updated 1920's vibe. Both primary bedrooms feature comfortable beds and lovely decor. The other three bedrooms also offer an amazing place to wake up in the morning, with comfortable beds and an inviting feel. Both bathrooms are conveniently located. The upstairs bathroom features a tub/ shower combination and the downstairs bathroom provides a shower. A laundry room with a washer and dryer are available for your convenience.
The interior of the home is beautiful, but the exterior easily rivals its charm. The inviting backyard is completely fenced in so you can enjoy games or relaxing with the entire family. Keep everyone entertained with the horseshoe pit and firepit. Revel in the lush landscape, pergola, cafe lights. Sit down and unwind at dinner outside at the custom farm table and benches.
The cottage-style home looks like something out of a fairy tale. The beautiful stonework, exposed beams, and vintage windows are one-of-a-kind. The lush vines climbing the side of the home add to the appeal.
Though you'll love this property itself, you might love the location even more. Nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, but with amazingly easy access to downtown Reno and the University of Nevada, The Stone House offers the best of both worlds. Enjoy city views through the windows while also being just steps away from beautiful Whitaker Park, which features BBQ grills, picnic areas, tennis courts, and playgrounds for the kids. You'll also be near a variety of restaurants, casinos, museums, golf courses, gardens, malls, hiking trails, and other attractions. Located next to several major freeways, enjoy easy access to Lake Tahoe, ski resorts, and Virginia City. Whether staying in Reno for work and play, you'll love being close to it all.

This is the first time we rented 2 homes for our vacation with our children and grandchildren. The yard in between was a perfect hang out and the gate provided easy access between the houses. Both homes had everything we needed and we had more than enough space and rooms for all 10 of us. The location was perfect and the 4 bedroom house had beautiful views of downtown at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We rented both properties and it was absolutely amazing and perfect for that. The two houses adjoin in the back yards and the outdoor space was perfect to gather. Both homes were very comfortable to gather in as well.

Great house, we would stay again!

This is our groups go to property when in Reno. We have stayed many times at the property and it never disappoints. The host has great communication, property is clean and well appointed, the location is perfect to the downtown area. This is an easy 5 stars for the property and we will absolutely be back.

Having access to both properties was a treat. Being able to make sure of both areas and gave the group to spread out and take advantage of the 2 living rooms. Host was accommodating for a early checkin and was upfront about the checkout. It was nice that every room in the Minerva house had its won bathroom.
Easy access to the freeway, grocery store, casino and a hospital make the location very well placed.

We had a family reunion for rib cook off. We had people coming into town from all over the us. There was plenty of space. Almost every room has its own bathroom there was more space than we even needed. Over all great experience!

The property worked out great. Lots of beds and plenty of space for the group of 12. Well appointed with good communal spaces to gather both inside and out. Good location with easy access to freeways and supplies. The 2nd floor of the Stonehouse was warm due to the hot weather and lack of central air. Parking worked out better than expected given the tight downtown area. Very pleased overall and would stay there again if ever back in the Reno area.

We had a very easy check in, the homes were furnished and clean, the shared outdoor space worked perfectly for our group. The location was far enough away from downtown to allow peaceful evenings while close enough to walk anywhere if we chose not to drive. The park was just across the street and perfect for my kids. Our group enjoyed our stay at the estate and would absolutely rent the property again when we return for national bowling in the future.

This is our second time staying here and once again it was perfect. The houses work great for larger groups and the location could not be better. The rental agency was fabulous and gave us a cell number if we had any issues.

My buddies and I rented out the Stone House and Minerva Estate together. This is second time we have done this combo booking. Both properties were clean and ready to go when we arrived. We ended up arriving early and I reached out to the property manager. They were flexable with us and allowed us to check in early. We all had a great time and our entire group recommends this property for large group events.

Great place to stay rather than a hotel. We were a group of six in town for a video shoot, and rather than stay at a hotel, this was perfect. We bought a bunch of food and grilled for a couple of nights and made breakfast as well. Ended up saving quite a bit of money. The place was super clean and interesting, with a unique layout. Since we were six, we broke it down so that we each had our own bathroom. But the house easily could’ve slept half a dozen more or more I’m not even sure. There was a slight problem with one of the freezers (one in each part of the house) but they were very communicative about it and super helpful. I would highly recommend this place for such a group.

Family of the Groom!
We rented both houses to host our family for our son's wedding in Reno. Both houses were perfect for our large group. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, the houses were super clean and well appointed. We found everything we needed in the kitchens/baths and it was the easiest communication with the host that we've ever had with a property rental. Highly recommend both homes either separately or together. We will definitely be booking it again next time we are in Reno to visit our son and his new wife! Thank you hosts for a perfect holiday weekend!

Great Houses
Great location, can walk to many great areas. Close to UNR and downtown Truckee Riverwalk. Both houses are charming, very different but each one great. Only thing to confirm is the bed configuration in the Stone House, we were told one thing and it was not correct. The solution they gave us wasn’t really acceptable ( told us to use a blow up air mattress), which for a couple was not ideal. Other than that the stay was great!

Plenty of Space
This is the second time staying at this property. The first time it was just the stone house as the second house wasn’t built yet. We like the location as it’s within walking distance to downtown. It’s a clean property and owners were responsive to emails. The owners have made vast improvements in the last couple years on the property and it really shows.
