Cabin was very cozy and in a quiet neighborhood. Other homes are closer than the pictures look. Overall it was a great place, and we will be coming back!

It was cozy and well equiped for our girls trip!

Cozy cottage in perfect location for skiing, grocery, and restaurants, yet deep enough in the forest so only the sound of the close by river and no road noise. It’s tastefully decorated and has comfortable linens and towels. Hot tub and dog friendly are great bonus! We would definitely return!

Beautiful cabin, but wasn’t fully equipped for a winter storm and losing power. Wood was provided for the fireplace, but propane tank was practically empty, and back up in garage was empty. Most flashlights didn’t work, and there weren’t very many candles. If we didn’t lose power, it would’ve been a great stay! If there’s a storm coming when you visit, bring enough supplies for your stay.

We loved all the cabin/ woodsy motif items- the old school snowshoes on the living room wall and many other tasteful decor items. The cottage is in an HOA community where the natural forest environment is appreciated and protected by design.

Overall we had a great time staying at this cabin. There are houses surrounding it but it is wooded enough that is still feels private. If you're going up in the winter be prepared for a power outage (the power went out during our stay for about 6 hours). It says it sleeps 9 but we felt cozy and full with 7 people. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were clean, and the fireplace was lovely.

The hikes in the woods and to the river were so close and beautiful. The cabin itself had pretty much everything a family could want., including lots of games!

This super clean cabin had it all! Space to spread out, games, hot tub, comfortable furniture, fire pit, fire place, fire wood, trails, privacy despite being in a neighborhood, are just some of the great things at this cabin. All of the little details were covered!

The house was very clean. Cozy decor and furniture. Not as secluded as advertised but it’s still in a nice location. The hot tub was clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great place to stay, and close to lots of wilderness to explore. Cabin is so quant, cute and the decor is perfect for the area. Beautiful rooms. Hot tub was amazing, and the fire place was fully stocked with wood. Kitchen was fully stocked with utinciles and was a great place to cook a home cooked meal after a long hike. Other houses are a lot closer then pictures/descriptions indicate, but neighborhood is quiet and cozy.
Only reason for not 5 stars: Vacasa is hard to get a hold of. They also offered a late check out, but never indicated that it is only available until 4pm the day you check in. We expected to be able to check out late on our laste day, after a long day out exploring with no reception, trying to email, and call them with no respons.. Next morning was able to text them, and that's when they finally told me if late check out is offered, it's inly good until 4pm ( on your check-in date)

We enjoyed the house. Very cozy and quiet. I’m giving 4 stars just because the hot tub wasn’t clean and we couldn’t use it while we were staying. Hot tub was one of the reason we chose this house. Little disappointed but over all the bed is very comfy, and easy to access to shops and restaurants. we enjoyed snow wonderland.

The house was super clean and a great size for my family. There were a ton of games that kept my kids entertained. The hot tub was a great way to end our day of sledding, and the BBQ worked perfectly.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to walk down to the river, nice little beach area. The kids had fun playing. The kids also enjoyed swimming in the pool. Our stay was short, wish it could have been longer. Loved being out in the mountains.

We loved everything. Great get away. We all sleep with a fan, it was awesome to have so many there. I brought one but didn’t need it.

The house was accommodating for four, it was family friendly and kept us entertained for our four day stay. Beautiful trails, the pool wasn't open but the hot tub was very nice! Overall we'll be back! One thing to know is that this is a residential neighborhood, and they do like their peace as well. We made friends with the locals but please be respectful if you stay here. This is their piece of heaven too.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! We loved the location, not too far from town, but still felt secluded. The neighbors were closer than I expected, but it was still so quiet it felt like no one was around. My family really enjoyed exploring the nearby trails. I did rate down on cleanliness just because the hot tub had quite a bit of debris in it still from the trees, but other than that the house was very clean and cozy!

Beautiful setting at base of Hood
Better than we'd even hoped. Spent a long weekend at the house with extended family as we trekked back and forth to Hood for ski days. Perfect for our adventure

Ok Stay
The house was pretty clean and the perfect size for our group. The hot tub barely worked was filthy! There was garbage all around the hot tub and broken glass. I reached out to the company shortly after we arrived to get assistance with the hot tub, and they never responded.

Cozy Stay
Tucked into the forest with the sound of the nearby river, this place was warm and homey. Great base camp for our winter adventuring but also lovely to just relax and read a book by the fire.

Winter getaway
We were hoping for snow but still had a cozy long weekend here. The home was as pictured and very clean inside. The only thing was the hot tub definitely had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace made it nice and warm to watch movies in the evening. Went to the ski bowl for some cosmic tubing and had a wonderful time! Thanks for having us!

Zig Zag Cottage was a cozy base for a 30th birthday weekend getaway.
The place was very clean and charmingly decorated. We picked this place based on the hot tub but what we enjoyed the most was the wood burning fireplace, which made for some extremely cozy game nights.
The kitchen had just about everything we needed - pots and pans, measuring cups and spoons, tons of dishes.

Nice cabin but a little dirty
The cabin is very well located as there’re hikes nearby. Great place to disconnect and relax in the hot tub. What we didn’t like is that there kitchen and living room wasn’t clean enough. I give 4-stars for the location but 3-stars for cleaning.

Perfect Hideaway
We absolutely loved this home and plan on coming back again. It is close to some great hiking trails and the hot tub was so nice to come back to at the end of the day. The kids loved to pool and hanging around the house using the wifi. It was a great end of summer getaway!

Zig Zag Cottage
Perfect little cottage in the woods with plenty of space to relax! The hot tub was super clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved being close to the stores and restaurants and enjoyed a stroll down the Little Zig Zag trail. The decor was a personal favorite. It was hard to leave - We hope to revisit this hidden gem someday!

Peaceful getaway at Rhody Cottage
Our family truly enjoyed the solitude and accommodations at beautiful Rhody Cottage. The home is fully equipped for time away from the business of life. You can step right out the door into easy to navigate trails along the Sandy River. Mornings and evenings by the fire with a book or watching your favorite movie are made easy with the cabin's set up. I would recommend to anyone wanting an escape into natural solitude any time of year.
