Rebecca’s place is unique, charming, roomy and comfortable. She has thought of everything you need for a pleasant stay including a bottle of wine, snacks, coffee, donuts, extra blankets and pillows and even some toiletries. We stayed there while visiting our daughter who is a student at University of South Carolina. It’s an easy drive to the campus and a great alternative to the local hotels, especially on popular weekends when the hotels hike their prices way up. My husband and I both worked remotely from there one day and there was plenty of room for us each to have our own space. There were not a lot of outlets but we made it work with the extension cords we found. The space is probably best suited for a couple or a couple with a younger child. There is one bedroom with a door and a double bed. There is a queen pullout couch but it is just off the main space with no door so our college age daughter opted not to spend the night because of lack of privacy. There is a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee pot but there is not a sink in the kitchen area so you need to go to the bathroom for water for coffee (or in my case, to wash vegetables for the tail gate party!) We will definitely consider staying there again.

We stayed at this villa for UofSC parents weekend. The house was charming and comfortable.Rebecca was a gracious host and even had brie, crackers, wine, chocolate, and homemade quiche waiting for us! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the beautiful property. I would stay here again and make sure I budgeted pool time.

What a grest place to have a weekend escape. It is such a tranquil and beautiful setting but also within walking distance to several restaurants. Thank you Rebecca for being such a great host!

Loved our stay in Rebecca’s Carriage House. She met us when we arrived and took us through the place so we felt at home. The addition of having a private pool was absolutely amazing. It was quiet and so comfortable. Felt like we were away from it all and yet restaurants are an easy 5 minute walk (with side walks the whole way). Would totally recommend this as a fantastic getaway! Thank you!!!

Pool was such an oasis during the hottest days of July; there wasn’t a second bedroom nor a full kitchen; only sink available was in bathroom; my husband and I were able to adapt, we just want others to know before booking

Beautiful quiet poolside villa. Our time at the villa was relaxed and private. Rebecca made sure all of our needs were met and then left us alone to explore the property and enjoy our time. Very nice place and accommodating host. Pool could use a heater as it is quite large and still not warmed by the sun in June. Over all a great place to stay in Lexington.

Rebecca I can not even begin to thank you for making this Easter so memorable! Where do I even start! The Easter baskets that you made for my daughter and her Army Battle Buddies! They were just beautiful and the chocolate candies were a huge hit! The villa is beautiful! Just breathtaking! Rebecca u have ruined us! We will now expect this service from every VRBO hostess!
Rebecca and her family went above and beyond what we expected! The photos do not even come close to how beautiful this villa or the “secret garden” truly are! We decided to grill for our daughter since she is stationed in GA and missed mommy’s cooking! I informed Rebecca we would be grilling and while we went to run errands she laid everything we needed out! She even found out I was allergic to coco and when we got back to the villa there was a basket with white chocolate and sour candies and wine! ❤️Rebecca I can not thank you and ur family enough! Daughter got to rest and we got to enjoy her! Btw the restaurant you suggested was awesome! We will definitely be back!

No central air or heat. portable heating units kept popping breakers and it was very cold that evening. The outdoor furniture was moldy and area around carriage house was not well kept, pool was very dirty. Lack of good parking and carriage house faces owners house only a few yards away. No curtains on front door or bedroom door window, had to pull a drapery and use a towel to close the door on it to make a curtain for privacy. Not all that private and has no kitchen, stove. Does have a small mini fridge and microwave. Would not recommend.

The location was easy to find and Rebecca greeted us with a smile as we arrived. She is very friendly and pleasant, and she gave us a complete tour of the villa and gardens. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the wine and goodies waiting for us was a very special touch. Spending the evenings by the pool or at the cabana were very pleasant. You’d never know that you were within walking distance of downtown. This destination will definitely go on our list of future getaway locations. Thank you Rebecca!

quaint and quirky and fabulous property and host . We had a wonderful time visiting my daughter in Lexington - convenient to everything, comfortable beds, wonderful pool and comforting surroundings. A walk back in time in the middle of nature, flowers blooming, birds chirping. Will definitely stay again

Fairy tale cottage with beautiful gardens
Loved staying at this property!
The cottage was just what we wanted: a comfortable, well-appointed place where we could relax and do "nothing". We went to bed late; woke up late. drank coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. swam, got out, read, swam again, read again, ordered carry-out from upscale restaurants, ate, enjoyed some wine in front of a fire - all perfect. As it got dark, we went inside and bing-watched Wallander (in Swedish crime show with English subtitles) until sleepy, and, finally, went to bed. We had all we needed: art supplies, kindle with new books, a pool, a beautiful garden to stroll through & friendly resident dogs and a cat. (If you're not into animals, don't worry. I asked to meet them!)
Our host had a welcome cheese/board, snacks, fruit and a bottle of wine in the cottage when we arrived - an unexpected and pleasant surprise.
One evening, when my husband left for the evening, our wonderful host, Rebecca, asked me if I wanted company. Of course I said, "yes" since she impressed me as a friendly and interesting person. We spent a couple of hours chatting and sharing experiences as if we were old friends.
I really wish we had stayed longer!
Definitely a place to return! Highly recommend.

Birthday “Tea” Party
Rebecca, the owner of this property, is an amazing host and and even more perfect human. We booked her villa pool and garden for my daughters birthday and everything was beautiful. The villa is cozy and clean, the pool is relaxing, and the garden surrounding the property is absolutely gorgeous. I would recommend anyone I know to book this location, whether it be for an event or a peaceful weekend. I will definitely be back, for the serenity of the property, and for visiting with Rebecca. She ensured that my daughter had the best birthday, and that all of our needs were taken care of. If I could leave one million perfect reviews, I would!
