Direkt am Meer gelegen, nur durch eine wenig befahrende Straße vom (Kies)Strand getrennt. Kleines, ruhiges Städtchen in malerischer Kulisse
Schön wäre eine Spülmaschine gewesen. Aber das ging ja aus der Beschreibung hervor. Für 4 Personen gut, bei 5
Personen wird es eng

Comfortable beds, sea view, location, adequate parking
It rather looked like it was furnished from unwanted furniture and furnishings! Tired and lacking aesthetic detail.

You need a sun shade for the back yard

The house has an incredible view of the sea and the decor is lovely. Our hot water and heating stopped working and the landlord came and sorted it immediately which was great service! We understand these things can happen. There was surplus parking so we never had to worry or pay for parking. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were all very clean. The balcony and the garden have amazing views! They are also dog friendly!
We loved our stay but we have a few suggestions for a couple of improvements- there were no sponges in the kitchen or cleaning products and all the bathrooms would benefit from a small bin. Some of the kitchen utensils and dining wear were unclean or dusty but I'm guessing it's because it's low season and winter so may have not been used in awhile. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Everything great e.g location, price, cleainess, decor, kitchen, TV
Shower wasn't working well and sofa-bed very uncomfortable until they gave us a foam topper. But why wasn't it there for the first night?

Location was lovely
Living room and front bedroom had great view of beach. Would be fantastic in summer especially with the sea facing decking area. Would stay again if less of us, so dont need sofa bed
Sleeping arrangements not clear. Yes sleeps 6, there were 5 of us , but only 2 bedrooms so one couple had to sleep on sofa bed, which wasnt a problem apart from we had to hunt bedding. Ok , found quilt and pillows but could only find spare pillow cases , bottom sheet and single duvet covers but the duvet was a double.
Also radiators seemed off and trying to get hotwater from shower was tricky.

A lovely house with a spectacular view of the beach both day and night - the flashing of the wind farm at night freaked us out slightly until we realised what it was! Really well-equipped kitchen, a lovely lounge/diner with enormous television, and very comfy bedrooms. The house was also nice and warm, and as there were six of us staying the extra loo downstairs was handy. Good parking either directly outside the house or by the property's own garage; this was ideal for one of our party who has a physical disability as she could park and then walk just a few steps to get into the house.
The water didn't ever get hot so showers were tepid, and the member of our party with a physical disability needs hot baths to support their pain control so it was a little frustrating having booked a property specifically as it had a bath only to find it wasn't really useable for them.
We visited in very cold, snowy weather and the back step and driveway became a skating rink. We bought some salt and this helped quickly, but is definitely something to bear in mind if visiting in the winter months. If you order any food for home delivery then also be warned that the drivers can struggle to find the front door - the property's address is on one road, but access is via another: make sure you add a mobile phone number to your order to help drivers out if needed.

Everything worked well, lovely sea view, large TV
Property could do with an outside light especially as there are several steps leading up to the property.

Great location along the seafront.
No live TV, just streaming. Maybe supply nicer pillows.

The location, right opposite the beach was amazing. We could walk into the town centre & get the bus to Eastbourne 😊
The house is 2 bedrooms, not 3 bedrooms as stated, but that was fine for us.
The neighbours were a bit noisy at times (? sanding/ decorating).

No television connection. No aerial

Very close to town, opposite the beach. Perfect base for walking over beachy head and seven sisters.
Based on the information provided on booking.com describing this as a 3 bedroom house we were both surprised and disappointed to find that there were only 2. Although this has been fed back to the owners we keep being told that it sleeps 6 which we don't disagree with, however we specifically booked a 3 bedroom house to suit our needs. The downstairs toilet didn't initially work although we did manage to fix this ourselves. The property didn't match the expectations from the photos

Very near the sea. Good parking. Very clean and comfortable house.
Nowhere to put recycled rubbish- bin outside was already full so I took my rubbish home.

The view from this house was amazing and so relaxing. Having a balcony both upstairs off the bedroom in addition to the one off the lounge was lovely. We could sit and look out at the sea and beach.
The property had a leaking shower, so we couldn’t use it until fixed, the balconies felt a bit unsafe with holes in the wood and sticking out nails, during our stay there had been no garbage collection for weeks due to a strike, so the 2 bins were full when we arrived and we had to leave our garbage in black bin liners.

lovely view of the beach
great open plan downstairs
Mattress in master room was a little hard

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood with great views and proximity to Seaford/Brighton and Eastbourne. Parking is available. Open plan layout for family works well with two toilets and property is furnished to a good standard. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are good and beds are comfortable including double bed settee. Huge TV, fun lighting and some games for kids. Large table for family meals and picnic table outside. Arrived to find milk/tea/coffee/sugar/toilet rolls/kitchen roll/soap/washing up liquid provided which was handy prior to having to shop. Host replied promptly to any queries.
A few minor niggles but addressed with host and no show stoppers.
