Overall excellent for our family & Karine was great to work with.
4.6
Amazing Mountain Views! Great beds, bathrooms, and kitchen space. Plentiful towels (including pool towels), toiletries, and kitchen items. Only negative was unsightly construction site next door that was the view for main patio and a bedroom. Also, detailed directions to actual unit would be helpful - very tricky to find, even for local food delivery drivers. Host was responsive.

We enjoyed the convenient location and great views!

I would say our stay was just about perfect. We loved the location and the view was amazing. There are imperfections, but none of them diminished the quality of our stay.
1) The pool's a short walk away
2) The ice maker in the fridge is slow, and the dispenser doesn't work
3) It's tricky to find. I would recommend the host provide detailed directions in advance.
But those are super nitpicky and in no way diminished an amazing week in the mountains. I would go back again in a second.

Pros: Views and location were amazing. I don't think we could have found a place with a better view. The surrounding area was nice as well and the drive into Estes Park was quick and easy. The beds were also comfortable, and the condo was fairly clean. Maintenance responded quickly when smoke detector started beeping due to low battery.
Cons: The condo itself could use some work - there are things broken in every room - light switches and plugs that don't work, patches of dry wall that haven't been fixed, stained carpet, front door handle/lock is ajar and close to breaking. All minor issues but definitely makes the place feel run-down.

Very dissappointed, overall. The problems noted in previous reviews have not been addressed. After the maintenance person worked on the ice maker, it still didn't work; we turned it off so that it didn't continue leaking on the kitchen floor. Many of the outlets didn't work. The deck off the main living area was pretty sketchy--one section of the railing had split and was about to fall apart. Needless to say, we had to keep the children inside. There were only two keys (there was supposed to be three), and with three families, that was a problem on several occasions. The upstairs bathroom is the size of a phone booth. Also, as noted in another review, there seems to be a radiant floor heating system in operation, so the un-airconditioned bedrooms downstairs were very warm--82 degrees one night. The communal hot tub doesn't work--no jets. There was no game room, no toys. Just a few incomplete decks of cards.
Some positives: the location is fantastic. The swimming pool was awesome. The kitchen--except for the ice maker--was in good shape and had all the utensils we needed. The views are spectacular from every window.
This was my first time using VRBO and I expected a lot more from a "premium host".

It was not at all like the picture suggested. I really thought the pool and hot tub was right out our property door. The picture was correct if that was the property I thought I rented. As I reported the front door and refrigerator have issues. The fire place in the master suite also does not work. I will call an ask questions next time before i assume.

Prefer info about place be sent ahead of time instead of in a binder. Great room is too small for gathering, upstairs room is not on same floor with bunk beds, etc. for children. Many things in house were not working(lights, outlets) or broken, only one tv had functioning remote for Dish network, not enough towels for 10 people, pillows were uncomfortable, no A/C in bedrooms but only in living room, front door handle damaged, owner needs to invest in doing maintenance and upkeep, directions to find the property were not detailed enough, put a keypad for main door instead of key box.

We loved our stay! The Google/Apple maps address doesn’t quite line up due to some construction but the owner was very responsive to help us find the condo.
The porches/view are incredible. For us, the location was perfect: it’s away from the busy part of Estes Park, 10 minutes to the center of town, 10 minutes to the RMNP entrance, 10 minutes to Long’s Peak/Chasm Lake Trailhead (and many others).

The property was good for big families, rooms are spaced out nicely.

I’m glad others had a great stay, however, ours was not stellar. I tried communicating our issues to the management company privately in two separate emails with a request for a response and have not heard back from them. It’s been two weeks. The location is great and the condo is large and has the potential to be a fabulous retreat.
We had trouble checking in because we arrived after dark and the condo signage is impossible to see in the dark and is actually not posted as listed in the check-in procedures.
There was an alarm outside the front door that went off multiple times every night and can be heard inside the bedrooms. Must be motion activated?? Animals? Neighbors coming and going? Regardless, very annoying.
Hopefully our experience was a one-off. Just disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay in Estes Park. Property was as advertised and would stay again. Convenient location, parking is a little tight! Excellent views!

This is a wonderful location. Convenient to the Rocky Mountains and all the activities we had planned for our trip. Perfect decks for early mornings or end-of-the day views and discussions, or actually all day! We also enjoyed the pool, especially the kids. We ate most breakfasts and dinners at the place, and the kitchen layout and appliances, including the grill, were excellent. Helped make our vacation extremely enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the property. Had a little trouble connecting with management on the second day to figure out pool info and Wi-Fi; otherwise we had a great stay!

This Condo is in a great location for access to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. It provided plenty of room for our family. Working with V.P.M. was a wonderful experience. I recommend this vacation rental and company without hesitation.

We enjoyed our visit here! The place was clean and had everything we needed for a great visit with family! The views are amazing and it was a quiet neighborhood close to town. We would stay here again!

First time in Estes Park and it did not disappoint. This property was perfect for everything we needed with absolutely amazing views off the balcony.

We stayed at this beautiful location for our summer family vaca, and it didn't disappoint. Fully functional and spacious house with all the bells and whistles. The views from the deck or any of the windows were to die for! The location was friendly and easy to Rocky Mt. National Park (Estes Park Entrance), shopping, and restaurants within minutes. The community pool was less than a 2 minute walk and was clean and bigger in person than in the pictures. The only minor thing is that the hot-tub was down for maintenance the 5 days we were there. Overall, we highly recommend this gorgeous location inside and out!.

Many more extras than the usual VRBO around the condo…everything we needed for a great week’s stay. Ages 17-70 (six of us) enjoyed each having our own space and bathroom…the views were so wonderful each day. Everything was clean and so well stocked. Close to RMNP entrance was nice fir 6 a.m. hikes. Close to the shops…all in all, the best VRBO we’ve ever rented.

Our experience was good. Property management was helpful with any issues we had

The condo at Marys Lake Lookout is spacious, comfortable and had plenty of room for three families to spread out. The views from all the windows were spectacular of the mountains surrounding us. You are close to town, restaurants and entry into the national park. A very nice pool that the young grandchildren enjoyed very much was a very short walk away. We didn’t have a problem the entire seven days we were here. Please know that there are four levels with stairs up and down. You do need to be careful when small children are present.
We had a great time at Marys Lake Lookout. Thank you Karine.

RMNP Vacation
The property worked great for us - loved the fire pit, but thought the $35 fee for not taking out our garbage was a bit over the top. We always take it out anyway. That being said, if we visit Estes Park again with a large group, we'd try to book with you:)

Marys Lake Condo
This is a great Condo for large family or groups of friends. Space galore for everyone. Would have been perfect if the community hot tub was actually working. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful condo for the weekend.

We were at the property for my son's wedding and had the combined families all in one place which worked out very well. The 4 bedrooms(which I'd call each one suites, since they all had adjoining bathrooms) were perfect for our needs. The condo was extremely well stocked for any needs that arose and the decks, grill, and fire pit were used nightly. The location was perfect to downtown Estes Park and to all the activities like Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking as well as trail rides in the park. Each night we were rewarded by the Elk coming down into the meadow below us which one night numbered in the 50's. The community swimming pool was used daily also and heated nicely too. The hot tub was also an enjoyable extra. I don't think that we could have found a better condo that satisfied all of our needs, especially for 10 people.
Thanks Karine for a great place to recharge and enjoy two families joining together as one.

Family Vacation 2022
We had a wonderful time in Estes Park. The Lookout condo was the perfect fit for our family of 10. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, we had a great time in the pool and the views are beautiful. Karine was quick to respond to our requests. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for a bachelorette trip and it was amazing! It’s so close to town so we went shopping and had dinner at the Stanley hotel. Everything was very clean and nice. The pool was also amazing and it is heated! Everyone absolutely loved it!

Great location…close to everything…minutes away from business district shopping and restaurants, RMNP entrance, golf courses, Mustang Mountain coaster …beautiful Mountain Views out every window…spacious accommodations for our family…Karine, our host, was very quick to answer any questions before and during our stay to accommodate us! We enjoyed our stay, but wow, the house was quirky. Starting with finding the place - the front door is on the uphill part of the building - ignore the lock box by the garage. Bottom level hot in August - and confusing because there were thermostats down there, but no air vents. AC loud and ran constantly to cool the main level. Upstairs shower door only could open ~18 inches because it hits a beam. 1 shower had a shower curtain too short and a window with no screen, so bugs flew in. Bunk bed room fits 3 max. There are 2 hideabeds, but you would need to move a very heavy center table someplace to use either of them. Fitting 10 people would be difficult. No kitchen table. Deck has a table, but it's too wide so chairs are difficult to move. Edge of deck has issue with a plank being too thin which is a tripping hazard. The floor warmer was on in summer and we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. It seemed to be adding unwanted heat downstairs. No tools for BBQ. The views are amazing, but for some odd reason, there are bug screens covering even the top windows that don't open. So, for all windows, you look out of screens. The stove is difficult to operate. Light not functional in laundry room. Place has issues, but it was all good - the hiking is fantastic in the area.
