The property itself is okay. The bed or the mattress topper is old, so you're sleeping in two troughs with a mountain between you. Cleanliness was hit or miss... the shower was clean, but there are cobwebs above it, and the ceiling is close... only 7 feet, so the cobwebs are close. The linens were clean. The kettle was very greasy and the bowls, cups and flatware were definitely not clean, but we could wash them before using. The worst part was that two of the nights there was a PLANNED power outage that we were NOT notified about. My husband uses a CPAP machine. We managed through the first night and let the host know everything came back online successfully, but then it happened again the next night. A neighbor told us it was planned. Had we known, we'd have made other arrangements for the CPAP. Needless to say, this is something that SHOULD have been communicated to us.

Home is a little old and dated but very clean and comfortable. An update to the lighting would go a long way, home felt a bit dark everywhere but the bathroom. Bedrooms were very roomy and home was well stocked as far as dishes/utensils and bathroom supplies. Host was very quick to respond to messages. Kids loved the huge back yard.

This house is amazing! Brent

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! We loved the proximity to multiple places in Olympic NP and the house had a lot of space. I did feel like a lot of the things in the house were outdated and there were a lot of spider webs near the front porch and in other nooks around the house, but overall we enjoyed our stay and we would come back again if we find ourselves looking for a place to stay in Forks.

Cute and cozy. Needs some updates. Plenty of storage for clothing etc. there was not enough lighting in kitchen while cooking. Only 3 chairs at the table for 4 people.

Nice location to explore Olympic Park.

House was everything we were looking for

Clean and very comfortable. Me and my sister had everything we needed for cooking and to relax. Very easy check in and out. Beautiful property. Me and my sister traveled around the Olympic Park area, we hiked in the HoH rainforest, we visited Rialto and Ruby Beach from this location. Beautiful area!

Was perfect for a one night stay! House has a lot of character! Beautiful yard.

Excellent stay here, highly recommend to anyone travelling to Forks!

Great layout for visiting, and comfy beds. Made use of the grill, which was a plus. Kitchen could use a few things to make cooking easier (bowls, cutting boards, larger pot) and more lighting, but otherwise it had everything needed for 2 couples to share.

Good nice quiet it's an older place but good close to walk to shops grocery store like 10 mins coffee place breakfast over all good Just the cob webs

Great location in Forks. Allowed us to hit multiple spots around the area that we wanted to see and was great for a home base.

Overall, the property gets 5 stars. It’s on the older side but a good value. I would stay there again.

This place worked for a single night's stay in Forks. First impression was basic and dated with a small bathroom and kitchen. But, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, everything worked and the pans were decent. There was a keurig with pods for coffee but no other basics like salt and pepper or oil. I was expecting a little more for the price.

It was easy to ask the company about questions I had.
The light in the master bedroom did not work the first night but the second night it magically fixed itself.
We would have liked to have some condiments in the fridge.
The bathroom sink was very slow to drain.
My husband really enjoys a bath in the evening and the bathtub stopper did not work. (At least we could not get it to work.)
The lighting in the kitchen was very dim. In the evening when we wanted to read in the living room, there was not enough light for 3 people to read.
The beds were very comfortable. We loved the huge backyard.

The location was good for exploring Olympic attractions close by. While some parts of the house have been updated, there’s still a ways to go. The living area was fine, but very dark. The whole house was actually very dark. The kitchen desperately needs a cabinet refresh. One of the biggest items I noticed is the pretty wide gaps in the side door - nothing stopping small critters and bugs from entering the house.

Family trip to the Olympic Peninsula. Needed a place to stay for 1 night. Communication with the property mgr was great and property was clean and ready when we arrived. Fit our needs perfectly!

It was a nice place to stay for the night. Nothing fancy but it was fine!

My friends and I recently took an overnight trip to Olympic National Park from Seattle and this was the perfect place to stay! The house was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. It was easy driving distance to the park as well. The hosts were very responsive and gave plenty of communication on directions. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when visiting the area.

Convenient to Forks, clean and comfortable.

We were happy with the location of this property and enjoyed the nice, big yard with a fire pit. There are a few maintenance issues that should be addressed with the side porch boards that pop out and the front entrance was covered in spider webs and eggs. Other than that, the inside was cozy.
4.6
We enjoyed our stay overall. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was nice / updated.
However, there were 4 of us, but only 3 chairs for the high-top kitchen table, so we had to get a chair from the fire pit area in the back yard and stack several pillows on the chair so the 4 of us could play games / cards. It didn't work well but our choices were limited.
The living room, bedrooms and bathroom were nice. The kitchen is in significant need of some updating -- the cabinets were old / smelly and very sparsely stocked with utensils and the usual kitchen goods. While the stove / oven worked ok, it appeared to have not been cleaned in a really long time.
If you aren't planning on using the kitchen, the property (bedrooms, bathroom, living room) was good and will work fine. If you are planning to use the kitchen or kitchen table and have more than 3 persons, the lack of utensils/kitchen goods, the lack of a 4th kitchen chair, and the overall condition of the kitchen should be considered prior to booking.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin-like spot. Easy to visit the park and rainforest and explore the area. Owners were quick to respond when we had questions. No frills here- but none were expected.

Great house for a short stay! Good communication with the owners, clean and organized house!

This little house fit my family of 5 very well. It was perfectly located for all of our adventures to the HOH Rainforest, Tree of Life, beaches, the Sasquatch store and, of course, the Twilight stops. Cozy interior design, very comfortable beds and a great setup in the living room to unwind. The only downside was the lack of kitchen items available to use i.e. measuring cups, handheld mixer/whisk. Making pancakes was interesting. Overall, would recommend.

Our stay was pleasant and cozy, however the mattress in the bedroom off the kitchen is worn or there was no support, it sagged in the middle. The king bed was very cozy. The living room was cute and cozy too. The kitchen was minimally stocked, but sufficient for our short stay. The The location was great for our trip into Olympic. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Property was clean, well kept, and close to the areas that we wanted to visit. We will definitely return here.

Small unit but owner has obviously done as much as they can with it. Cutely decorated. Comfortable furniture. Lots of shelf space. Clean but is showing some age/wear in spots.
Bathroom and kitchen are small but suitable. No AC (which is typical and not unexpected for residences in Washington) but wish they had provided more then one fan as it got fairly stuffy and warm until it cooled down in the evening.
Outdoor space is nice and spacious. Instructions for stay were very detailed and good communication.
Overall very acceptable stay in a small town with nearby amazing places to visit.

The cabin is pretty basic. Minimal supplies in kitchen- I think there were maybe 4 forks total, so you have to wash frequently. FYI- there is no coffee maker- just a kurig. They left pods, which was helpful, but we had better coffee we were hoping to brew. Decent place to stay, but glad we only stayed one night.
