Good location. Very good breakfast. Clean.
It seems to be advertised as a hotel but is actually a B and B, the managers who were very lovely were only available at breakfast and a couple of hours in the afternoon and we were left alone at night.
The rooms aren’t soundproofed, one room doesn’t have a bathroom door (another guest told us) and the rooms street side are a little noisy. Very clean but a little shabby, the owner could make so much more of it.

Beautiful building and an elegant space to be. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Super location for the bastide and 20 mins walk from the Cité. John was really helpful with access to the property for baggage between check out and transfer to the airport

The room & entire home is beautiful, the bathtub was perfect for a soak after a long day of walking, and breakfast was incredible! The spread had a number of options & the baked goods were still warm. It was easy to walk everywhere and there were a number of affordable parking options nearby. We really enjoyed our conversation with John where we learned about the history of the area. It was fascinating to talk with someone who enjoys history as much as we do! It was a great place to enjoy our anniversary. Thank you for the lovely visit.

We loved staying here, its a beautiful old house and made for a fantastic base for seeing the town. The staff were lovely and John puts on a great spread for breakfast with both excellent tea and coffee (greatly aprpeciated and not often found on the tea side in France). Our rooms were so spacious, the beds really really comfortable and the shower was so refreshing after being our in the heat, as was the air con. Will look forward to staying again on my next visit.

John and Jane were very hospitable and accommodating. Knowledgeable on the area. Close to the airport which you can get a shuttle for 6€ or a taxi for about 13€. If you want a taxi you need to call one or get information in departures to call for you. We could not get Uber there. The house was lovely clean and comfortable. Decorated beautifully. Continental breakfast was excellent. Location is perfect for walking around with plenty of restaurants and over the bridge to the medieval castle. Or there are free electric tut tuts. Loved every minute of or stay from Friday to Sunday.
We loved everything.

Location was central to town but quiet street. Very handy for shops and square with bars, restaurants etc.
Breakfast was superb continental style with wide range of foods from Host John who was great.
Rear view over small courtyard not great. Would have liked a door to toilet
/ bathroom area.

Breakfast was exceptional, never had such a selection or quality of fare as I had there.
Room was well equipped with a great L’Or coffee machine.
I was a little unnerved to find that there were no staff permanently in the building. Initially I couldn’t make anyone hear when I arrived at the property so after ringing the doorbell several times , after about 10 minutes I rang the phone number I’d been given but no answer. Fortunately, someone came to the door shortly afterwards, otherwise I wouldn’t have known what to do.

We rented the entire property as 4 couples for a long weekend and it suited us perfectly. The art deco building with high ceilings, ornate features and interesting furniture and art made for a unique setting. Huge rooms throughout and a large enclosed patio at the rear. Kitchen was well equipped albeit we mostly dined out. Great location for shops and bars and about a 15 minute walk to the medieval city.
Some of the sofas/chairs in the lounge were not especially comfortable. The shower/toilet arrangement in the "Marble" bedroom had very little privacy. We had no WiFi all weekend due a fault that could not be fixed without an engineer which was very frustrating (although the wine we were given by way of compensation was very welcome)

The building is beautifully restored! The breakfast was lovely! It is easy to access most of the city by walking, even for those who move slow.
Have a trash receptacle in the bedroom area.

Super location in Carcassone, great value for money & lovely produce at breakfast.

Beautiful spacious town house close to central square and good choice of shops, restaurants and attractions. Attractive communal lounges and dining room. Quiet bedroom despite overlooking narrow street. Shutters were padded but roof or traffic noise not an issue at all. effective fan heater/cooler worked well to make chilly evenings in November very cosy.
A couple of little things could mean a lot to guests- more hangers in wardrobe- we found two and there were no hooks to hang coats. Some toiletry items were supermarket basics. The small boutique hotel image let down by this?! My wife would have liked a dressing gown. maybe sone of these things are in the pipeline.

WiFi was spotty.

I cannot praise it enough; the accommodation was sumptuous, but what really made our visit was the hospitality and kindness of John and Jane. I cannot thank them enough
The breakfasts were to die for, the rooms were immaculate, and the showers were blissful
there were absolutely no negatives at all. it was first rate, I hope we are blessed enough to revisit

Very convenient location. Less than 2 minutes to a supermarket, 1 minute to the square with a lovely selection of places to eat and less than 10 minutes to the station. 15 minutes to the Cite (chateau), across the old bridge. Look out for the coypu in the river,
Accommodation is simple but very clean and comfortable. Excellent shower (we had the balcony suite) and really comfortable beds.
Breakfast was what you'd hope for in France: fresh croissants, french bread and pastries, a fine selection of cheeses and cold meats and excellent coffee.
If you have read the description then I don't really think you'd expect anything "better". This isn't a Holiday Inn or similar but a personally run accommodation - which is run very well.
